I've been really busy lately, what with this new full-time teaching gig and stuff, so I've not had time to post properly. This is the first little lull in my schedule, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to give y'all the latest info from the RECOIL camp (Click here for the Official Website):
We've got little rumbles of interest from Roadrunner, Sanctuary, and Colombia Records at the moment. Nothing too exciting just yet, but defintiely some progress - I'll keep you all informed as and when I can. We also might be in the UK magazine 'Metal Hammer' some time soon, and there's a possibility of some airtime on Kerrang! radio. Things are looking pretty good right now. If I weren't up to my arsehole in debt then I'd be loving life a whole lot more... lol

NM

Master Yoda...great to hear the good news...cheers to the promise!
Sugarbaby...there have been times of turbulence here.....I too am a peaceful person who appreciates consideration...I try not to hurt anyone intentionally... sometimes people get turned sideways...and a rumble ensues. Peace is usually the norm here... it would be a shame to see nice people depart due to human nature.... Back to my guitar where i can control my world...Peace

Sometimes I'm right then I can be wrong -
My own beliefs are in my songs -
A butcher, a banker, a drummer and then -
Makes no difference what group I'm in -
I am everyday people
Then it's the blue ones who can't accept -
The green ones for living with -
The black ones tryin' to be a skinny one -
Different strokes for different folks -
And so on and so on and scooby dooby dooby
Ooh sha sha -
We gotta live together
I am no better and neither are you -
We're all the same whatever we do -
You love me you hate me -
You know me and then -
Still can't figure out the scene I'm in -
I am everyday people
Then it's the new man -
That doesn't like the short man -
For being such a rich one -
That will not help the poor one -
Different strokes for different folks -
And so on and so on scooby dooby dooby
Ooh sha sha -
We got to live together
There is a yellow one that won't -
Accept the black one -
That won't accept the red one -
That won't accept the white one
Different strokes for different folks -
And so on and so on and -
Scooby dooby dooby -
Ooh sha sha -
I am everyday people

SteveeT: So do you think the Chrome coating creates extra mechanical sustain and resonance? I've always thought that the chrome boys sounded more alive and vibrant compared to a standard painted JS when I see Joe play. What did that cost you to get your hands on that one?

OCPS470...I know that the luthite definitely has an effect on sustain, as it was specifically designed by Ibanez for that purpose....as for the Chrome coating....I'd think it has less of an effect as it is such a thin Chrome coat. $2250.00 US....very pleased indeed! Thanks for asking!

Hi everyone, hope you're having good weekends out there. Mine could be better- having to wait in ON MY DAY OFF for the engineer to fix the central heating boiler. Still hasn't turned up yet, well at least it broke down in October not December!
Master Yoda- Sounds promising, good luck :)

I don't think there are too many rude (if my understanding of what you mean by rude is correct) people using this forum, but for you to leave the 'family' because of him/her/it is akin to giving in to bullying in my opinion.
Peace and happiness to you.
Keep rocking,
Steve.

Captain Steve- It's October LOL! Also washing your hair in freezing cold water is really, really crap.
I have just had a blazing row with the gas company, as they tried to tell me an engineer called at 4 p.m.- but my front door is right on the lounge where I have been sitting ALL DAY! Also, apparently he left a card to say he'd called- but guess what, no card! I nearly lost it! Apparently a complaints manager will be ringing me back soon so....... grrrrrrr. The best they can offer is that they come out tomorrow, so I get to waste my WHOLE WEEKEND waiting around for some prat to turn up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give me red wine NOWWWWW

Dr. Mindcrime..no but I was watching that bid...held myself back from that one (looks like Mr. Maryland done some people wrong here)....mine was in Texas...it is so freakin' good...ooooooooo!
I've been adjusting the Floyd down as low as I can....it's taken all day of playin' and resetting, but holy smokes...the fckr is the balls....I see a very long and meaningfull relationship flourishing....
Joe Satriani...thanks again for dreamin this (JS10th) up. I emailed Steve Blucher to congratulate him on the pick-ups, and he gave me his typical Staten Island humor in return...what a cut up he is!
Have a Great Day at Sonoma tomorrow...give cheese101 a kiss, and Chris a Chromeboy..., or at least an autograph!
