Hi Joe! Long time fan, first time to post. First saw you on the sufing with the alien tour and about another ten times after that, and always a fantastic show. My favorite shows besides the surfing with the alien tour was austin when Eric Johnson came on and played a few tunes with you, and Strasbourg when Adrian Legg opened (I'm not rich, just in the military so just go see you wherever the tour is closest to where im stationed.) I was wondering if you happened to see the Carlos Vamos remake of "Always with me, Always with you" on you tube. I seen him play a few times in Europe and i think its a pretty cool remake! He also has a fantastic remake of "How deep is your love: on his album "Unexpected Grace". I think he would a great opning act. Gotta go to the Sand Box the end of this year so it doesnt look like i can catch this tour live, but look forward to catching the next one when I return. Thanks for all the great music!

An octopus walks into a bar n says “i can play ANY instrument you like”
Spanish guy gives him a guitar, the octopus plays so well they call him GOD so Paco de Lucia left the building
An angel flew down, met GWBush & gave this octopus a Harp..which he played all 2 well, the angel joined up with the rest of the republican elephant crew & proclaimed “don’t worry...there are other countrys t bomb & rob oil” IF WE WIN
ENOUGH said the Scottish bollox, get yourself round the bagpipes
The octopus fumbled around for some 30 mins
“whits wrong wi ye can ye no play it” the scot shouted
“I,m just grand” shouted the octopus “ once I find out how tae get her feckin knickers aff”

Joe Satrini - Yeah the Vai one looks good, but I still think the Satchurator is better. You plug it in and it is instant Satch tone. The more switch gives a bit of an eq boost and takes you to complete overdrive mayhem.....all that despite being quite a musical distortion pedal!

The osteopath said to me that i have to get some rest.
So, i remember that i made the promise to post here two tributes for SRV.
I'm onto them.

The other, called Mary Msses Stevie, is dedicated to Mary SRV.

Hey Joe - I wanted to tell you about a band that you have to hear from France called Morglbl. They would be a great addition to your next G3 tour. They are a 3 piece and each guy is extremely talented. The guitar player is Christophe Godin and he RIPS on guitar. Their style is a mix of rock, fusion, jazz, funk and whatever else you can think of. They are also very entertaining live. I saw them earlier this year at the North East Art Rock Festival (NEARFest) and they were the hit of the weekend. I think your fans would like this band. Here's a link for more info if you want to see/hear more:
http://www.myspace.com/morglbl
Sorry if this sounds like a sales pitch - that's really not the intent and I am not in any way associated with this band, it's just these guys are really good and I could see them opening for G3.
Thanks for all the great music over the years! I'll see you when you come to Baltimore in October!
T. R.
