Hi Joe
Got the ticket for texas 28th april, sorted the flight and the hotel, suitcase packed ..(just joking), but i'm ready, and now the wait is killing me
Just can't wait to fly out...seems like forever till the 26th April, when i leave "freezing cold London" far behind me.
It is going to be soooo.. good to see you.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Thanks to Compsith for all that useful chat about Texas last night...lots of things worth knowing, especially the bit about where to party. One thing i forgot to ask is Weather??
Whats the temp in Austin at the mo??
I'll post you that joke later.
And thanks for sharing that pic with me..SUPER
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
Hi Mikesb..loved your review.

Delfino - I know what you're goin through dude. Sometimes the tables turn and your parents need you for a change, instead of the other way round... lol. It's horrible when it happens, but you just gotta try to be strong. Everybody in the family really needs each other at times like these.

Joe...cool video....if you ever do another maybe you could include the rest of the band too...just a thought.
OK...now for a BIG question.
A friend of mine at work says he saw you around 1989 at the Warfield in San Francisco. He said that it was just you and another guitarist...no band backing you up....just two guys. And he said the other guitarist used a violin bow at some point. He also remembered that the opening act was called "The Two Three Stooges" ? Do you recall this show, and who the other guitar player was? Thanks....SD

DCK: Calcium depo blues, Dr.B.B.cakes should know all about that, lol. The GNX3000 has given me everything i ever wanted from the amp/processor i couldnt find, i,m totaly gobsmacked.Yesterday i spent the whole day just tweakin & listening through the headphones & thought i,d bought another clanger & slept rather uneasy last night but today i fired it through my amps clean channel, added my lil Boss pedal setup CS-3 pedal b4 the unit for tonal porposes, set level 15%, tone 35%attack30% sustain 100%,Boss noise Suppressor NS-2 Thresh 3/4, decay min, and the lil brother of the PX4 pandora Korg for comp only set to 1.The onboard GNX comp is set to fast, infinity, threshold 0 & level 20, added the dod 250 & set it to 0 gain with level full through the Marshall mark2 gain high with CHNK 4 by 12 cab & BAM, clean powerful solo tone without fuzzy wasp dist, i,m still shaking with the buzz of it.I have spent months with the GT-6 trying to syphon the tone out my head but nope. This unit is a beast, easily blowing away the others, thanks for the heads up man, a new day has dawned for me.
Michelle: Y lucky sod, i cant wait to hear it plus Joes S.C., i tell y hon this March has it all goin on, ders a magic happnin
Fab: In 2 weeks bro i hope, i have a track built just for y

the new video is AWESOME... I liked the cartoonish vibe and all the photoshop-like filters... it certainly made the video look unique... good choice...
look how easily it is, even with box office hits like king kong, to get cheesy, obviously fake takes about this kind of thing... glad you guys put it together in a whole different way, not kong, not rolling stones, but satch rocking like no other...
i guess it's too late to release an enhanced CD with that video as a bonus, huh? unless, you guys already did it...
take care,
the cosmic ape

Nice video....finally got it to work by opening it in another browser tab. Gotta love dialup.
And I just got this in an email:
Joe Satriani Contest!
Metal Express Radio and Sony Music are rolling out a new contest to celebrate the release of Joe's new Super Colossal CD (coming in March). Sony Music is offering up 5 copies of the new CD. Winners will be randomly selected from a pool of entries that contain the answer to the following "Satch" Trivia Contest:
Joe was famous for including references to Marvel Comic's alien superhero Silver Surfer in his music.
Name the Satriani albums that contained Silver Surfer references.
Email the correct answer to dan@metalexpressradio.com by 23:59:00 CET (5:59 p.m. EST) on March 10, 2006. 5 winners will be chosen at random from all correct entries received.

Ovation1 I finally found Snowball of Doom and SSO! And for cheap, too! That song I told you about that I've been working on, 'There and Bach', it's coming along great, still not finished yet.
-I had the chance to buy a Silver Surfer toy a week ago in a store, I don't know why I didn't buy it...how cool would that be to have one!
