Zinc Master: your equity mortgage story reminds me of the regular fliers I get in my letterbox asking if I'm interested in selling my property ... which comes from the real estate agency that leases the unit to me.

AussieRGman: go to the road section of the website. The dates should have been in the email, but obviously they weren't. The dates are in mid March.

How is everyone? I'm hungry myself. The day has disappeared to nothing again, and I intended to walk into the city but it's a bit late to do that now. (My car has not been reliable in the last week. I don't want to drive into the city and not be able to start it afterwards.) At least tonight is my weekly fix of TV. (Only watch 1 hour a week.) Naturally it's Australian comedy and British sketch comedy (these days Little Britain).

" Time Capsule of Hope " If we were to open a time capsule from long ago, it wouldn't matter if it was 5 , 10 or 40 years ago, and children had a chance to predict what the future would be . I know that they would have wrote inspiring innovations like blue flying cars, or even wrote no more world hunger and world peace. Would it be that far-fetched if our President made an announcement that instead of spending 20 billion on a bunch of new warplanes, he gathered all the major car manufacturers together and funded a team that would invent and put all of us to work building a non-polluting flying car that didn't need oil and gas . Could you imagine the excitement on our kids faces . Now that's inspiration.

I remember the time John F. Kennedy inspired us all with the quest to explore outer space. It's about time we inspire to fix the inner space we all live in. Because as the experts are saying, in another 50 years with the way global warming is around the corner, there's not going to be much of this country left for my future grandchildren to be proud of. With the holidays approaching there is always tradition every family has. My kids and I agreed that every year we will all put a toy in the ToysforTots box that would make another kid smile and maybe inspire them. I found this perfect toy that I'm proud of. You remember that car from the movie "Back to the Future " that could fly on garbage. When I dropped that toy in the box with my kids , I actually felt hope that maybe the next Thomas Edison would play with it and inspire to build one . So maybe, just maybe, if you were to open up a time capsule years from now, that all our kids predictions would have come true and maybe there would finally be peace on earth. Happy Thanksgiving Joe and may God Bless you & and all of us in America. slickrick is flying this blue dream in Upstate NY

zen - ha... I know how to drink beer... lol... I've been practicing for years..... lol...

ya yo - I'm going to get a web page built for the album release.. it's not ready yet...

there will be no complete tunes in there... just a few 20 second clips from the album...

when the album is done.. I will definately think about transfering my IUMA stuff onto the new site.. and maybe add a couple more shreds too....

then.. I'll obviously get well into writing the next album...
the plan for the next album is for it to be much heavier than the first....

optical - interesting observation... "You evolve serious speed leggato"

when playing at high speeds I use very little legato..
most often I alternate and non-alternate pick the licks...

although I obviously do not confine myself to that alone.. sometimes I'll choose legato because I'm specifically after the softer tone it generates..
in general though, I tend to prefer the 'attack' of the pick striking the string.. I like the definition.. and I personally find it a tighter way to play..

the album Shredz [the one I'm recording now] I did a 'demo' recording of a year ago... this means that I have to re-learn my own solos... the problem is... some of the moments on the demo were a bit on the 'special' side of my playing... obviously I need to recapture that for the final recordings... sometimes I find learning my own special moments to be seriously tricky... firing somethng off the cuff and then being able to reproduce it at will is not easy... but this is a good thing.. it stretches the limits of my playing... there was a lick in The Baptist where I got seriously classical.. it's not really exceptionally quick... it's pretty melodic [in a Mozart sort of way]... but the lick is all over the place.... how I thought of it god only knows... but it's so nice that I figured that I must be able to reproduce it.... lol... and it is proving to be a real handfull... lol...

funny really.. I'm stretching my own playing by learning my own playing... lmao..

civgeek - I've been to Éire many many times.. Gee bag??? never heard of it....

and better one is.... Yachonchya....

as in...

"what der fokyer lookin' at yerchonchya?"

or

happy tree hondreth yerfoken oil fokeryer...

steevet - oort cloud... fuck me that's familiar.... jeez... where did I last hear that??... you got me thinking now......
physics perverts - has anyone in here really got their head around what the fuck a Plank Length actually is....

I'm sure it's got fuck all to do with wood... lol...

All Y'all - so if money was no object to someone that actually liked you...
what would you want for Christmas?????????????????????????

This is the coolest news of all time! Question of those in the know: will premium packages be available?
The Forum Theatre is an awesome venue - the building itself is listed under the Heritage Trust and has an amazing ambience.

after considerable experimentation and verification testing...

I have concluded that beer is an antidote to "knowing what the fuck you're talking about"...

do you guys think I'll get an award for this discovery and subsequent contribution to furthering the realms of science?

I'm so happy now for having the tickets for the G3 concert, december 4, here in São Paulo, my town. It's gonna be the third time i'm gonna see you, Joe and the second time i´m gonna see Steve and of course the first time with Robert Fripp, the one and only legend from King Crimson. Please, tell me that you gonna play Friends like the last time. It's true that you three plays Red? In fact i divulg your work since i heard Surfing with the alien, many years ago. And when people heard Always with me, always with you, even don't liking rock and roll music, they fall in love instantaneously. Now we can hear your music in the rock's radios. We'll that's it. On the audience will be this old fan (i'm 49 years old) in ecstasy watching you and the guys doing what you do best:rock and roll. Antonio Roman (from Brazil)

Thank God for Colonel Sanders...

I love KFC. I would suggest KFC to start selling deep fried whole turkeys for thanksgiving and help live the American dream to the max.

I also suggest companies like Glaxo and Pfizer to start selling drugs that are deep fried in KFC.

Just a thought.
