Hey Black Dog, seeing the Nuge in August at the same venue... Casino Rama in Orillia. They tend to get a lot of great acts at very good prices. Nuge tickets are only $40. I'm about halfway back, and so seats are not the greatest, but not terrible. Joe tickets were 16 rows back and center.

Tickets are cheap there, but hotel rooms are nuts. Across the street, at Days Inn, a room will run you $200 easy on Fri or Sat, but direct at the casino the rooms start at $400, lol.

Hi Joe, I attended your show at Casino Rama on July 15 and it was a great show as usual. That was number 11 for me (the same as Nigel's settings on his amps)!!! Let me wish you a belated happy birthday although I was in the front ro singing my lungs out so I hope your heard! Also I was waving 2 albums most of the night - Surfing, and also Flying in a blue Dream - and was hoping you could have signed them but no such luck. Any chance I could send the covers to you and get you to sign them?

Rock on! Can't wait for the new Chickenfoot cd also.

I was attending the show at "festival d'été de Québec" and I want to thank you for comming to our city and giving us such a great show. To make a long story short, things were terribly wrong in my life those past few months and I used to play/teach guitar but since given up on playing altogether. Seing you and Metallica on stage inspired me and I picked up my guitar as soon as I came back home after the show. I thank you for bringing the love to play music to me again. You along with Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Marty Friedman and Jason Becker were always an inspiration to me and I could nit be more inspired then this last saturday by your display of passion!

Once again thank you very much and I hope the crowd gave you as much love as you wanted in return for your brilliant performance!

Had the tune Kitten's got claws going round in my head all day driving me mad cause it's not the Whitesnake version and I couldn't remember who it is, it's just come to me that it's Steve Vai, at least I think so. Great song annyhoo.

Edit - Duh!! Just remembered Vai played with the Snakesters for a while, Donington?

Just after 7 p.m., part of the MBNA stage blew backward onto the Ottawa River Parkway and sent thousands of fans seeking shelter inside the museum.

The band Cheap Trick was about 20 minutes into its set when the incident occurred.

Three people were reportedly injured. Monahan told reporters all of them have been released from hospital with minor injuries. One of the injured was Cheap Trick’s bus driver, who broke his leg.

Monahan said all of the Bluesfest stages are inspected daily. He noted the stage in question has been used by the festival for the past five years and is similar to stages rented to other festivals in Canada.

Monahan said he was backstage in the production office when the stage collapsed. He called 911 immediately and said his top priority was to make sure everyone was accounted for. It’s estimated that 10,000 people were on site at the time.

Nothing like this has ever happened in the festival’s 18-year history, he said.

The destruction forced organizers to cancel the rest of the evening’s programming.

Monday morning dozens of construction workers and organizers donned orange vests and hard hats as they cleaned up the site and tore down the stages. However, nobody could be seen working on the MBNA stage. Behind the stage two red and white tractor trailers could be seen pinned underneath the rubble.

Yay i guess you're gonna play that when you get married then? I will...What about Love Thing from CP?

or Cryin'? or Starry night?

They're all nice songs.

In my opinion the best Satch song ever written is dream song. I don't know why, but it just moves me every time i hear it. What does everyone reckon?
