Hi gen!!
peace&guitars - ahhh The Pogues, that brings back memories... we saw them when they supported King Kurt..a very memorable night indeed. We got off this obscure station in London (King Kurt had been banned from most places), we didn't need to ask which way to go cos there were people with buckets of goo and stuff on the train and when we got off we just followed this trail of eggs and all sorts to the venue, the bouncers stood at the door covered in stuff, looking bedragled and letting anyone in, anyhoo inside, the Pogues came on, all I remember is the lead singer or goofy not sure which, banging his head on a tin tray. When they had finished, everyone in the place split in two, we were in the middle wondering what the hell was going on, then over our heads all these plastic cups went flying while gary glitters record do ya wanna be in my gang was playing, then this guy lands at my feet with what turned out to be broken ribs from skidding down the floor which was soaking wet and on a slope cos it was an old cinema. Then King Kurt came on and the place went mad, throwing all the gunge everywhere...it was great....staggered home drunk and in a mess (OMG 18 years ago)
So glad your feeling a bit betta and good idea to take yourself away from the situation. BIG HUG
Zincmaster - i take it your not technically minded either.
Anyone else know the answer to the getting your vinyls on MP3 question? Come on 962 you MUST know the answer :)
Hugs Satriella xx

I totally agree Michelle..that first Van Halen blew everything away at that time...Edward was the friggin king for me..his was some searing work for 78 man..when all there seemed to be was Styx...Kansas..BOC to name few..VH knocked people on there asses big time..not long after that Randy Rhoads hit the scene..and that was all I ever played besides Jeff Beck..!! Hey...!! that reminds me...!! Joe could cover Jeff Beck's "Come Dancing"...or any of his stuff...and I would be blown away...!!

Hey Joe here are a few guitarist that I think would be great for the G3 tour.
Paul Gilbert
Vinnie Moore
and my favorite if you can get him to go the States
Gary Moore. Probably be the finest g3 tour ever to happen.
Thanks for the music
Dan

Civgeek Congratulations bro'! Glad to see that your hard work has paid off. Still an inspiration to me although action on my part will be a while yet. Looks like my wife will not be going back to work for a while yet and I'm glad that I can give her that option (almost! - lol). She wants to back out of the 'professional' rat run and re-train to be a hairdresser! My turn will come later :-)
People! If you missed the Ken Campbell post and link a page back check him out. Late starter, great player and totally inspired by Joe - following his dream and working hard. Again check him out.
Cube Hey Mark! Sorry I didn't name check you in my last post. I'm still checking the Cuberoom out on a 'regular' basis and I was going to post on your behalf re the Laveree (sp?) but you got there first. Hope all is well bro' - take it easy :-)

I'm still behind with posts....I think I'm somewhere in Sunday but just wanted to pop in. I did read some of todays post tho...
The Bob: Damn....the Chat's STILL BROKE???!! What's up with that?!! I was going to stop by tonight.....maybe next year. Damn Shame! It would've been nice to chat with you.
js1200js1000: Trans-Siberian Orchestra tomorrow. I think you asked me if I'd seen em b4...... Nope. But thanks to Cheesus I'm going to be at the 3pm show! I'll tel yah all about it Sunday. I have to babysit my nephew Christopher (7 months) right after the concert for the nite... I hope he's not cranky tomorrow. :-/
Civgeek: Congrats Matt!
Michelle: Great Album/SOTD!! I just love The Atomic Punk! It's one of my favorite albums also......it takes me right back to sweet 16 riding around in Hot Rods, trying to get into the bars, looking for fun which was usually trouble. LOL They were some careless days, NO responsibility.... much different times than now that's for sure. ^A^
Suzie2000: Woooohooo! The holidays are here for you & Matt! Lucky Buggers!! I'm so envious..... Have a great time, I hope you can hook up with Clarky & Master Yoda. Have a drink for me. Cheers! I'l try to catch up with you over the next week or this weekend...I need to start doing some Xmas shopping, STAT! LOL
Slanshroom: ;-)) I thought those Reindeer might be a lil dificult to keep up with....good try though, I know you are a tough lad and can kick some ass. But don't mess with Santa's Reindeer.... they can eat many, many shrooms....lmao! That's why they are "Flying" Reindeer, shhhhh it's a secret. ;) It doesn't work on people tho. I'll bet it would've been awesome if you coulda taken a Reindeer for a spin, that would be very cool indeed Roy. ;D
