5 pages behind, but...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVEY!! Cyber hugs and good vibes sent your way!
Cuth, no one can say you're not a passionate man. lmao!! You made a lot of good points in your post to mari. One word kept popping into my head ~ POWER TRIPPERS! We all see them every day of our lives, bosses, teachers, neighbors, business associates, but it's a real bitch when they have so much control over our lives. I know no one on here has the answer, but WHY would they turn help away. I guess because of the same reason people were shooting at the rescuers. They're assheads! Power trippin' assheads.
Keniko, sorry to hear about your b-i-l's brother. That's such a young age - and the older I get, the younger 51 is! My condolences to the family. My son has another game today. The first game was 62 miles away!! We couldn't go because my husband was on call, and it fell on the same night as my daughter's "Back to School" night. I was seriously bummed that day. So now I'm saying today is the first game! lol! It's really hot and humid out today, so I won't have to wear my MacGyver outfit. It won't be dark enough to wear my batsuit (I can only wear that from dusk to dawn). Any suggestions? Hmmm, maybe I can wear a helmet and tu-tu like Ace Ventura and yell from the sidelines "Put me in coach!!" lol!
Have a great day peeps!
LOVE YA JOE!!

This kind of blew by everyone, so I'll repost it... >_>
Buying my first wah pedal (well, ordering it off of Musician's Friend) tomorrow. I have $130 to spend on it... looks like the Dunlop 95Q (or 535Q, any real differences?) is what I'm going to get, since Joe doesn't seem to have any problems with his 535Q, and I know Vai used a 95Q during The Audience is Listening on the new G3 DVD... I heard Joe's is modified though, same with his DS-1 Distortion pedal, any truth to that?

Delfino, "I can play the guitar like a motherf*ck*n riot"......dude, what song is that from? And what's the name of the band? All I know is they're a Mexican ska/rock band and I really want to know what they're called so I can get their CD's! Another cracking line of theirs is this one -
"daddy was a rolling, rolling stone.....he rolled away one day and he never came home"
Everyone, a link, again, to my soundclick page where you can hear "The Jester", which I uploaded yesteday.

Cuth: I guess the argument for having NewOrleans in that area is that in order to import/export oil/refined fuel we need a port somewhere in the gulf coast. So....if you don't rebuild the City you put it somewhere else, pretty much with equal risk. And since the US is dependant on fuel it is important to the whole country. I heard some one argue this point on a political radio show last week. I definitely see your point though.

Hendrix home saved for the future
Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix was born in Seattle in 1942
The childhood home of Jimi Hendrix has been saved from demolition after a new location was agreed at the last minute.
The house in Seattle will be moved to a site opposite the cemetery where the late singer was buried in 1970s.
The dilapidated house had already been moved to a temporary site and a four-year court battle with authorities began to save it.
James Marshall Hendrix Foundation and the City of Seattle plan to renovate the building into a community centre.
Struggle
The foundation, which was set up by Hendrix's younger brother Leon, plans to reconstruct the house on a three-acre site they bought for £980,000 ($1.8m).
Plans for the property include a facility that will offer music lessons, practice rooms and a library of musical instruments.
The struggle between the foundation and Seattle authorities began in 2001 when the house was moved a few blocks from its original address and was only given a temporary permit.
It was threatened with demolition unless a new address was found.

DCK: MARIMARISRV: BAHDAH: Thanks! I am taking very good care of my 'franken-feet.' I do have to have them re-wrapped this thursday.......My friend Patrick is looking for saddles for his C1 shecter bridge. It's like the gibson tunamatic original bridge. I think he wants some metal ones....I hope Steven W is okay. I know that his evironment is grating for him. I guess know one recognized my SOTD suggestion....oh, well. Maybe I should have gone with Young's "Like a hurricane."
JOE: I have gotten the little GK amp to settle down and work properly! Now I have cannel switching. I still use the zoom for the ds-1 patch, and the pedal-wha. I did have to back off the output volume so'os I did not have so much intermodulation distortion.......Hope your having a great time out on tour....or writting...which ever your doing now. I'm still listening to Time macine, and sbm. Your still awsome! Rock out! Randell
