I dunno why....but i actually just watched Bush on TV...

Hi Joe,
Wow just watched the CD release video...it was good to see different fans and here there T2J names....and best of all see you play...shame they couldn't join in on the crowd chant though...anyway I thought of a question....
It was obviously a cold night....what do you do if your fingers get cold...do they get cold...I mean if mine get cold at work it is really hard to type...so it must be the same for playing the guitar...so what do you do?
EDIT - Just seen you playing Starry nigh on the beach in 03...you look freezing...how did you play with numb fingers?
Anyway...real good job that night and I am so looking forward to seeing you June 20th at Hammersmith....
Are we nearly there yet?
Hugs Satriella xx

I finally got the CD release party video to work.
After only being able to watch the first half several dozen times, I feel like I know those people in line personally. ;-)
I'm still wondering why Mike had to *foam* the pickups on the SC graphic guitar to prevent feedback......were they not potted/waxed/sealed? *confused*

Satriella - I was thinking the same thing when I watched the video of Joe playing Starry Night along with Galen in January of '03 on the beach (check it out here, about halfway down the page). I don't know how cold SF gets in January, but Joe's got a jacket on.
TomSr - thanks. I was beginning to wonder if anyone but Satriella was reading them :-).

GuitarSamuri I sent an email, they just send back an automatic email saying they don't have the time to respond to each. I guess it gets forwarded to the right spot. Hey, it's worth a shot.
conner22 Yea, Alex is actually pretty good on guitar. At this show there were some problems, it was all good until for about 2 or 3 songs, then something got messed up, no sound for him. They fixed something, but the rest of the set the sound wasn't as good as it was when they started. But, he's good live, they pulled off some really awesome stuff. I've heard some pretty crazy keyboard/guitar duels when my brother would be listening to them, they did good live. Pretty impressive show. They really aren't what I'm into either, but I'll admit it was an impressive show. I can't wait, Dream Theater April 1st!!! That's more of what I'm talking about! I'm working on 'The Test That Stumped Them All'. Pretty much finished with it, just making sure I have his solo down, I like the solo in it so I figured/figuring that out too.
-I might be getting a digital 8 track recorder sometime soon, I hope! I'll be able to finally start posting up my own stuff! Wait till you guys here this one I've been working on, 'There and Bach'. Ovation1 will definitely like it, sounds like something Paul Gilbert would have done. Two tracks, one lead guitar and a 2nd guitar playing a counterpoint melody. I've got the lead guitar all finished, finally finished it yesterday! Now have to finish the counterpoint melody.

Hi Joe.
I have been a devout "Satch" fan since Expo '92. Which was the first time I'd ever heard of you. The night was jaw-dropping (except Nuno - very dissapointed with only one song, and Brian May (brilliant guitarist) seemed rather out-classed (for want of better terminology) by Yourself, Steve and Nuno. No offense to the guy! You instantly inspired me to practice guitar 10 times more than I did. Thankyou.
Every song you've done is above reproach. Utterly amazing.
I do have one question... Did you ever do a song called "Formula 1"?
My mate brought a tape round and said the song was one of yours. Sounds like one of yours too. I wouldn't normally care whom did the song, but the copy is incomplete and there's at least 30 seconds missing from the end. It is one of the coolest songs I've ever heard. I also heard it was a partnership with Steve Vai. I don't know how accurate the info is but, please tell me it's yours.
I await impatiently for "SUPER COLOSSAL" to hit the Birmingham shops. It'll look wicked with my other 15 albums.
Many thanks and eternal gratitude.
ps: Please come play Birmingham, England again.
