I have satch on the brain tonight. I missed the show...could you possibly do a show at the Fillmore again in the near future? If and when you want to.....and if it's on the full moon again like tonight that would be great....since the moon effects us July people. You looked at me right in the eyes before you went off the stage in 1990...I know you don't remember, but I do...Anyway I'm not trying to come off the wrong way...I know....I just want to hear your guitar music again now because I need to hear that instrumental music, and maybe learn something from it. Greetings from la Veranda.....

Here's a joke for ya:

There's a new teacher starting at a school and to break the ice she goes "I'm a Liverpool supporter. Does anybody else in this class support Liverpool?" and every single person puts their hand up exept one. So the teacher asks her "what team do you support then?" to which replies "Manchester United". After the teacher had asked her why she supported United she said "because my parents do". The teacher said "You don't have to do everything that your parents do; it's good to find your own path. What would you do if your mother was a prostitute and your dad was a drug dealing rapist?" and the litte girl said "Then, I'd be a Liverpool supporter!!"... lmao

Suzie - They have blackcurrant Jaffa Cakes? They sound effin' 'orrible!!!!!!

Clarky - Yeah, man I really wanted to make it up there. Shame I was such a tool... That would have been awesome with the complimentary ticket too; cheers for that... My e-mail address is dontspillmybeer@hotmail.com for that link, by the way.

We're not looking for a new rhythm guitarist anymore; we found the man for the job now. Should be out gigging again soon too... You heard the stuff yet?

Everyone - Go to the RECOIL MySpace again (or for the first time...) for the new songs - they've all been mixed and mastered now and they sound bigger, nastier, and generally a hell of a lot better than before. Check 'em out...

Satriella, I see it differently myself, partly 'cause I'm not religious, but anyway - if you bury someone it's like planting them in a place they will never be able to move from, and you've really got to hope that they like the place where they're being planetd! I'd personally hate to spend eternity in the same place.

My dad was cremated and we left his ashes in his favourite place in the world he'd travelled to which, to us at least, was the only fitting thing we could have done.

Also I meant to ask you something about your fear of motorways - are you only afraid of driving on them or are you afraid of being a passenger too?

ooh, thanks for the wallpaper link!

mthead, hey take care bro, hope everything goes fine on tuesday! Catch up with you soon amigo, rock on!
Delfino, haha, I can't believe they're making you do maths and english tests for wrapping chocolate! Ah well, I'm sure you'll get on ok.....god luck anyway though buddy!
Captain Steve, oh I can always appreciate cool words.....I'm useless at writing lyrics so it's great to read someone elses' when they're good at it!
donnie_darko, hehe no problem! Yeah bit of a lengthy story behind my username.....I would have included a link to Dauer's website but it's under reconstruction at the moment so there's nothing to see :-(
OCPS470, yeah pedal noise is a pain in the ass sometimes. I don't get too much of a problem with it and I just run my pedals straight in front of the amp rather than in the loop, but I do get an interesting noise from the Bad Horsie:

If I have the Legacy on it's lead channel with the bluesbreaker in front of it on "boost" setting just to pump up the guitar signal, then use the Morley as well I get a high-pitched whine out of it

Not feedback, it's more processed than that, it's actually signal, and is most pronounced with a single-coil (reasonably enough) but I do get it with humbuckers too. I'm thinking it might be something to do with the hotplate though...

Yoda, haha, wicked joke, I'll make sure that one does the rounds
Now playing: Move On ~ Andy Timmons. God I'm loving Andy's new album so much. On first impressions, I'm slightly more into Andy's new album than I am Joe's. Super Colossal is great but Resolution is a little more exciting. However, I must admit to having transcribed Crowd Chant yesterday, what a wicked tune!

Veranda - Didn't I see you hanging around the back of my friends house last week?

Big Gay Al - Never mind the website, never mind uphill gardeners liking your girly hair, get a fecking job! LOL I have the answer to your probs! You could advertise shampoo like Ginola, well at least you could if you were worth it! More LOL!! Only kidding Al, keep rocking.

369 - Thanks again!

Monterrey Trace - As the great Carlos would say 'Hope you're feeling better'. Come on now, give us a big cheesy grin. Ahh that's nice!

Whiskey Lady - Keep at it Mari. Your pictures do the talking!

Cubic Death Man - I really liked one of your tunes but I can't remember the title or find my way back to your site to get it.

M le Zen Poisson - Bleu bleu bleu, down down down......................up.

Holmes - Not in chat then! Gone to church?

Keep rocking everyone

Steve.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU MOM'S, MOTHER'S, MAMA'S, etc. I hope you and yours are appreciated
Well it looks as though The SC tour is leaving the US and I guess that gives me the blues. I am happy for the rest of the world but I am hopeful Joe will come back to the US with An Evening With Joe Satriani tour............
Speaking of tours, the Scorps are coming to the US for some select dates one here in Vegas but I am curious as to why? No new album yet all though it's in the works. Seems like an awful long way to travel to only play WEST coast and leave out the East coast.
I was listening to FIABD on my way to work and could there be any better song to open an album with? IT just sets the tone for that remarkable opus....Surfing equal maybe, Cool #9 possibly close but I think the live versions are far better. SC is a good opener. I just think FIABD is tops as an album opener, not necessarily tops album wise from Joe's works. Any thoughts on Joe's best album opener's?

For Joe, I hope they could read it...

Hello Joe, My name's Adrian I'm 16 years old and French....I bought my ticket for the Lyon' show, the 14th june...I'm very happy because I' ll see you really, and not on my TV...I'll come with my girlfriend who's name Lucie, I made her discover you, and his prefered song is " I believe"...I hope I'll win the aftershow pass...I have 1000 things to tell you...You make me dream, you bring me happyness, and I think it's the musician's goal....Later, I want to be a drummer, and my dream is to play with Steve Vai, but not really with you, because Jeff is a fantastic drummer, who play with you since a long time, and I know I could'nt be as strong as him to play with you....Yet, if a day I'll be Steve's drummer, I hope I could meet you in the G3' tour.....

Joe, thank you for all, I hope me and my girlfriend can meet you at the aftershow in Lyon....

PS: I hope my english is not too bad....

Friendly,

Adrian M, Grenoble, France,

962: The Bad Horsie (as with any wah) has an inductor in it. This means that if the wah is next to a power supply of any kind, it'll go nutz haha! So maybe this has something to do with the issue. One other idea....if you put a dist box before the bad horsie in the signal chain, you'll get an odd sound. When I accidently did this back when I was using a fender amp and a ds1 for dist, it just created a hollow thin sound, but maybe all pedals act differently. Let me know if this helps. Btw, I don't know if you saw my post... check out "Leaving It All Behind" song and let me know what you think. Thanks
