Delfino, aww that sounds like a very cool project dude....please do let me know when there's some screens to see, it's always cool to check out your work!

I can't quite recall what the outline of your course is, but will you, in due course, be going on to do 3D animations, ie. CGI motion pictures, rather than stills? I'm sure you'll come up with some amazing stuff if that is where you're heading.....I bet you could make some wicked music videos!

Joe, ooh look, "beagle" just joined and is yet another person who has The Forgotten (Part II) as one of their favourites! You gotta get it on the setlist dude! :-]

Yeah spot on mate, When I get good enough to do animated-'shorts' I'm planning on making a music video for one of Joe's songs...probably Train of Angels because I've got it all storyboarded out in my head lol.

I'll keep you informed on the picture, im concentrating on doing some wicked textures for it so we'll see how that goes.

COSMIC_APE Tired today. Practice, practice, practice. My fingers are blown from playing and weeding the lawn, painting my fence, and getting ready for summer. It's starting to heat up over here and I have to get in the water every day to stay loose and stressfree. Alot of good advise to relieve stress. After reading the postings of the people who attended Joe's show who had to put up with some dumb as heckler, it upsets me. Some people endure long trips to see Joe and should not have to put up with that sort of crap. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated at all. Dont they have security at these venues? You know me by now and I have always enjoyed physical contact. Being one of two white dudes in high school I had many fights and learned by experience, and instruction, how to handle myself. Hawaii is a melting pot of martial arts and there are many to choose from depending on your bodytype, skill level, etc. But, sometimes you win and sometimes you get your ass kicked.

I enjoy reading other peoples experiences. I also enjoy expressing my own experiences as most of you can tell. Kayla's experience is heart warming and magical to me. I'm very happy for her.

Getting back to ass kicking. Its mellowed out alot in Hawaii over the years because everybody is so busy trying to afford the high cost of living. People work 2-3 jobs just to make ends meet. Now I've been a bad boy on a number of occassions. What I have learned is this. DO NOT EVER intervene in a situation where a confrontation is taking place. I dont care how bad it is. If you do, you are most likely going to jail dude. That happened to me once when I defended my landlord against a tenant. Not only did I spend the night in jail, but I had to hire a lawyer and attend court several times. I will NEVER intervene again! Just some friendly advise. Hecklers are a big problem if you dont have bouncers or security, so Joe must have handled it nicely. In the old days before laws changed you could put the hurts on him, call the cops and have him hauled off. Then they would finish the job once they got him processed and in the cell.

Hope everything is going well with y'all. Its good to know Joe is out there smokin and pleasing the crowds! I have a final question. Being a bassist, why do the Stones hide their bass player. At the Super Bowl he was none existent! Just an observation. G. OUT...........................................................

Hi Joe!

As a South African fan, I just wanted to say that the G3 DVD shot in Japan is excellent!!! I enjoy watching the DVD over and over again! Mind you, I watch all the G3 DVDs over and over again!

I wanted to ask you, if it is possible of course, if you could schedule a G3 tour with you and Mr. Vai, and either Vinnie Moore or Marty Friedman in the near future! I understand Marty played with you guys in Japan. Vinnie is also a great solo guitarist and it would really be a treat if you guys could perform together!

Looking forward to the next G3 experience!

Keep rockin' Moeselini

"Star Trek" franchise set for 2008 revival

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - More than three years after the last "Star Trek" movie crashed at the box office, the venerable sci-fi franchise is being revived by the director of the upcoming "Mission: Impossible" sequel, Daily Variety reported in its Friday edition.

The as-yet-untitled "Star Trek" feature, the 11th since 1979, is aiming for a fall 2008 release through Paramount Pictures, the Viacom Inc. unit looking to restore its box-office luster under new management, the trade paper said.

The project will be directed by J.J. Abrams, whose Tom Cruise vehicle "Mission: Impossible III" will be released by Paramount on May 5. Abrams, famed for producing the TV shows "Alias" and "Lost," will also help write and produce.

Daily Variety said the action would center on the early days of "Star Trek" characters James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, including their first meeting at Starfleet Academy and first outer-space mission.

The paper described "Star Trek" as Hollywood's most durable performer after James Bond, spawning 10 features that have grossed more than $1 billion and 726 TV episodes from six series.

The 10th film, "Star Trek: Nemesis," bombed at the box office on its December 2002 release, earning just $43 million in North America. Last year, Viacom-owned broadcast network UPN pulled the plug on the low-rated series "Star Trek: Enterprise" following a four-season run.

I am much more a Star Wars fan - but I also really like Star Trek. I liked the last series ok - some of the movies weren't that great though.

I hope the movie is good. It is movie 8, meaning, it is good right? Aren't the even numbered movies better?
