Michelle - thanks for the Badger link... the folks had a badger problem so will be sending them that to wind them up a bit - cool, good find
Satriella/Clogger/Anibur/NJ etc. - perhaps if we can round up all the UK fans who want to go there'll be enuff to get discount flights to see one of the gigs : )
Cheapest I found was £585 : (
Punkdude/anyone - what's the name of the peice at 6:24 on this Nuno clip?
I used to play it (and had better re-learn it), but it's bugging me that I can't think who wrote it and the name.... anyone?
Joe - belated Happy Birthday from me, didn't get a chance to get on here on the day. Do anything nice, get anything really cool?
L8rs everyone

I'm a 32 boy from Valencia, Spain.
I'd like Joe Satriani could make some song in the Original Soundtrack of the Fantastic Four's film.
Silver Surfer appears there, doesn't he?
I love the Marvel World and Joe Satriani incredible cappabilities as a composer, technician and of course guitarrist and even as a singer.
Please, come back soon to Valencia, Spain!!

At a price of 5K this guitar better have some magic power or something. It's very nice but jeez. I'll bet the only difference between that one and my js 1000, that I paid 1200 for, with a case, is the paint job. Does it cost that much to paint a guitar?

Coffee man - Funnily enough, i've been away on a ship. Never mind that though, what's your news. Haven't made it to your site since I got back, any new stuff? Band news?
Conch - I kind of liked you before, hope you're still not grumpy with me!
Scooby Doo - Tenille is doing fine but she's still not very good with eggs.

LMAO - thanks Michelle!
Anibur - better get a list of takers for Cali then before I try & badger an airline into a discount..... which would need to be substantial - I just got told off considering in December I flew 'down under' to see Mr Super Colossal and friends for G3... "you want to do what?" was the response - oops : )
roffler - my 2 pence worth: do not touch that guitar, seeing as it's an 'Ed Roman' (go to Jemsite and see if anyone has anything good to say about this particular dealer)...
Given you can pick up a JS for $1200, how does Ed justify $3800 for a replica paint job (at least he now puts 'replica' in the ad)?? You can get a paint job (of most of the rare models) for around $750 - so I'd get myself a JS from somewhere reputable, then a nice paint job to make it unique if required.
I think BC Guitars does some good work on this front. At the bottom of this page you'll find some example JS's. If you want to go mad after that, you end up with
this OR this (scroll part way down the page)
Punkdude - it's definitely not made up, I learnt it years back. Am beginning to recall it might be a Randy Rhoads piece.
G'nite all

Joe satrini-thanks for the links. I am going to see about getting a nice custom paint job on my JS. Maybe something like the guitar on the back cover of flying in a blue dream. Or maybe something else, I'm not sure. Thanks again.
How's everyone? Who else will be at the chicago show?

DCK: Thanks! Made it thru the pickin' satge....I don't envy that job......well maybe sorta. Good luck to all of us who made the first cut T2J3ers!Kayla:No biggie on the job front. Sometimes jobs are the best one you can quit. You always can get a better one in a few days/weeks anyway. On the guitar front, be patient, and it'll be up and running soon. Sorry about kitty. I miss my cat "Flint." Carol and I still "feel" him jump up on the bed in the mornings. JOE: Thanks for all the special music you've created for all this time. Your still healthy and up and runnin'. I'm looking to having a great b-day.

ed romans an asshole, i stop in there everytime im in vegas, it is a nice shop and they have some very nice gear in there, you can pretty much find whatever your after usually but dudes an asshole imho, YMMV as always, if your wanting some custom work done check out sims custom shop, they do some fantastic work and very reasonable on the prices, like roffler said, BC is also a great place to check into, ask around on jemsite or projectguitar, theres some wonderful custom luthiers and painters, Roman's not the only one as he likes to think he is, dude doesn't have a high opinion of Ibanez in general so he already irritated me walking in the door :(
http://www.ibanez.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=6483&PN=0&TPN=1
theres a recent example of sims handi work, them guys do great work and could do a donnie hunt replica with ease, check em out sometime if your really wanting one, good luck
