5150_Alien Jeremy is awesome! When I saw Vai on the Real Illusions tour, Jeremy tour it up! He even did a drum solo, really cool. I had aftershow passes, Jeremy walked in real quick, cool guy.

Kansas setting minimum marriage age: 15
State has had no minimum if parents or court approved
TOPEKA, Kan. - Kansas may have seen the last of its child brides.
After a pregnant 14-year-old from Nebraska drove to Kansas last year to marry her 22-year-old boyfriend, now serving time for having sex with the minor, Kansas lawmakers decided it was time the set a minimum marriage age.
On Thursday, the Kansas House voted 119-0 to approve a bill that would prohibit anyone under the age of 15 from marrying in Kansas and would set strict limits for would-be brides or grooms under the age of 18. The Senate approved it a day earlier, 36-4.

I am trying to learn to use pinched harmonics. I can pick the harmonic but cant get it to sustain. I mean make it sing like Joe Satrinani and most accomplished players do. I know distortion and gain are major players in this. My question is, can I do this with the amp modeling software (pod) or is this more a wattage thing (as in, more is better) and if that’s the case, is that strictly tube amp territory or can I do this with an electronic amp?
Thanks

Greetings from San Diego, Joe! You certainly have a lot of these to read these days, but hopefully you'll read this one and recall a conversation you had with a fan after the San Diego gig on May 4 regarding Bearsville Studios. I just would like to thank you for the time you spend with your fans after the shows you so majestically perform. I've been following you religiously (like so many of your fans) for over 15 years and have been screwed out of having the chance to meet you time and time again (scheduling conflicts, etc.), and my wish finally came true. I truly appreciate what a great guy you are and I thank you for your gift of music you give to all of us. Like so many of us, your discography represents somewhat of a chronology of my life. For example, I can pop in The Extremist and recall exactly what was going on in my life when that CD was released. I have Satch reference points going back a decade and a half! I can't say that for any other artist. Please keep the chronology going! Thanks again, and all the best to you, your family, and of course Jeff.

Not that I need anymore encouragement for the May 11 show at the Roseland, here's a small review of the upcoming show found in the local paper A&E section.
"Chops that can make guitar geeks drool can just as easily bore the rest of us into the ground. But not from these exemplary ax slingers, who bring to bear as much taste, restraint, imagination and tunefulness as they do technique.
Instrumental Rock at it Finest." I agree
