Hi Everyone,
Well this week has been a freaking roller coaster ride. I got the 5-Mile Race under my belt already. Won my age division and came in fifth overall out of about 150. Now I have the 10K Race on the 26th. Wish me luck next Sunday.
ZuperDave: How are you holding up man? Are you selling that CD or not? How is your family doing? I hope they are all doing well. I am still praying for you and your family.
Out of the Setlist: How are things going with you. Hopefully there are not too many wildfires out there in Southern California. Be nice to visit California sometime. I do not travel a lot (I should sometime).
js1200js1000: How are you doing up there? Did you buy anything or are you going to sell/give out those codes?
michelle: Hi. Glad you enjoyed the concert. What else was baaddaassss at that concert? Question, what is all this CHICKENFOOT ordeal. Just curious.
Well, gotta run. Need to take care of a couple of things and try to meet up with my running group later tonight. Holla to all of you!!! Deuces y'all.

New AC DC sounds like old AC DC. Noone can fail to identify them as AC DC, from the first note.
Madrid and Bacelona concerts in March'09 sold out this morning in about 4 hours. I got no chance to buy tix

I remember it Joanie, at a little over 18 years old I was one of many ecstatic fans who saw Leeds beat the mighty Barca 2-1 at Elland road. Unfortunately I also remember your lot stuffing us 4-0 a few years ago.

New here and 1st post.
Nice getting the football chat included here. You must be manic being a Leeds fan. Ah well each season starts fresh and hope does truly spring eternal.
I am from the wrong side of the pond when it comes to football; however, i do love the game and enjoy Saturday football from the EPL more than alot from our American game called by the same name.
However, Joe is coming to my hometown this Friday so I gotta think i'm in the right place.
Thanks for the line. I look forward to stayin in touch.

So far so good on the new AC/DC.
I got to listen to some of online a week or so ago (illegally) - but see - I still bought it.
You can clearly tell it is AC/DC - no surprises so far.
I still have a few more songs to go through - it has been a busy day.

Hey Cappy I have a soft spot for Leeds too, ever since my beloved Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka were playing for them.
And of course, **Becks*** (sigh!) was/is right up there but I couldn't support Man U once I chose Leeds.

I can't remember if I asked this here the other day or not, but does anyone have any good ideas for cheap/easy/last-minute Halloween costumes? I had an idea that won't end up working out. I have a Plan B, but I'm not too thrilled about so I thought I'd check with people here...
Igneousiceman - Yeah, I love love love Almost Famous. In fact, I think I'll watch it tonight... :-)
Glitz Man - Congrats on finishing the 5K race...good luck next week, as well. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for asking about the wildfires...they're all contained, and the last of them (for the time being) may be completely out already. The air where I live (Long Beach, on the coast) has been clear for quite a while now, so I'm good...
Listening to: Dave Matthews Band - 6/7/08; St. Louis, MO (current song: Pay For What You Get)

Connor22 Thanks for the encouragement and your kind human touch on the page. For now Joe's CDs give me the sustenance I need. Your kind thoughts mean a lot now.
CappySteve I'm glad we share the same planet!
marksaurs AND rockr WELCOME TO THE VERY HUMAN PAGE!!!
ZincMaster------Keep sending out that VITAMIN Z (the smile vitamin!!!)
OutOfTheSetList ---I know what it was like enduring So Cal wildfires. I grew up in San Fernando Valley until Fifth grade and moved with family to Orange County. I remember seeing flames on ridge of Santa Suzanna Mountains--I remember being scared and in awe at the same time!! Good to hear the fires are all contained.
MattS---Whoa! Man!! What mischief will you cause next?
I'm soooo glad we are all on this planet together and can post to this awesome PAAAAAGGGGGGEEEE!
As a famous Canadian once said, "We are all in this together!"

Orrrrr Austin, since u need choices and a black plastic trash bag just MIGHT not do.......
How about get a clear trash bag, cut out arm and leg holes, tie it at yer neck, and fill it with different color balloons....yer a bag of jelly beans :)
WHAT!!! It's a valid Halloween costume!!
Okay, fine....paint yer face up like John 5 (like Joe did), spike yer hair up or put on a beanie, wear a buncha black and yer all set!!
Anyway, I'm sure we can come up with more ideas if you'd like...I love making lists of stoopid things.....
A direct quote from the Joe Satriani "Professor Satchafunkilus and the Musterion of Rock" tab book, talking about one of the songs....
"Take "Out of the Sunrise," for example, with its complex guitar lines that are as bewitching as they are anodynic. "It's about somebody; let's say it's me, but it could just as easily be you; says Satriani. "He's been up all night and he's looking out at the dawn. And suddenly everything that he's done wrong in his life becomes clear. But he realizes that it's a new day, a new start, that he still has a chance. Ultimately, it's a song of hope."
Maybe that's why I'm drawn to this song so much...because I have no other hope in my life. It's a great song Joe, and just beautiful to listen to live. At least I got the chance in Ireland to hear it twice :) Thanks Joe.
So yeah, obviously got the tab book in the mail today, shhhhh, don't tell Chrispie, it's fer Christmas...but who am I kidding, I prolly won't be able to wait that long, lol....ooo I need to do another post...brb.....
