Blue Moon.....fortunately for the music stores around here I'm much better at improvising than I am at copying a "riff" when I'm trying out their guitars. I have to confess that I'm much prouder of my own playing style than I am of doing covers.....peace, SD

Hi Joe!

This is going to be a shot in the dark but here goes anyway. A good friend of mine (Mike Lyons) from New Orleans, LA lost everything to hurricane Katrina and has since relocated to Kerrville, TX. He is a guitarist and has gotten the chance to meet you several times, the last time was when he came to visit me in Arizona and we saw you at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix. We talked with you after the show outside and I believe he told you he had one of your amps, actually one of the first ones you had been using live, I believe. The same one you personally signed and gave to Bill Xavier at Peavey. Apparently how it found it's way to him was through a music store (C&M music) in New Orleans. You were playing down there at the House of Blues and signing autographs at the store before the concert. C&M Music had not received any of your amps yet and were getting a bit nervous that you were coming and they had no JSX amp as of yet, so Peavey ended up sending them the amp that you gave to Bill. My friend Mike bought the amp from them a week later are so. As you probable figured out by now, he lost all his guitars and yes that amp to the hurricane. He has told his story to C&M Music, and they too were devastated by the hurricane and suggested he call Peavey, but they said they couldn't do anything for him even though he can provide documentation he owned the amp. As a last resort I suggested that I could post a message on your website hoping somehow it would get to you. He would have himself, but has no computer at the moment. If anybody could help him out it would be you Joe. I am including Mike's phone# just in case - (830)257-4940 . Thanks!

Happy Holidays, God Bless! Leo

Hi Joe,

I'm Lodje all the way from Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the Pacific region. I was introduced to your music through my husband who is a great fan of yours. This message is just acknowledging your talent and that you also have great fans, here in PNG. My husband and his brother can even spend hours just trying to play your music on their set of acoustic guitars and it truley does sound good too. Music is a wonderful thing and you definetly know your stuff.

Have you ever considered coming to PNG? We are a small country but you'll be amazed at the number of fans you have here. If you came here, my husband and I would be the first to buy tickets.

Kind regards, Lodje.

y0! WAZZZAA!! hey joe, you teach guitar right? and I assume... no- I know, you know a lot about guitars. SOoooo.... I was wondering if you could help me with something. My friend has this guitar, an ibanez, and it has a tremolo. But. The thing is that, IT ALWAYS GETS OUT OF TUNE. And I've been wanting to save up for a new nice guitar, other than my cheap, yet still pretty good, $149 Epiphone Les Paul Special Model. And I wanted to get a guitar with a tremolo. But if it always gets out of tune, what's the point?! so I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of guitar to get. :D I was looking at your JS 100 and it looks pretty good :D, but the tremolo, will it get out of tune? This is what always confuses me, my friend's trem. makes his guitar get out of tune, but when you're on stage, I don't see you're guitar get out of tune, and you do like psychadelic stuff. :P well, oh yeah! and I read that your JS 100 has a "Double Locking Trem.", does this mean that it won't get out of tune? :P IM SO CONFUSED!?!, well, not really, I just need... to... KNOW!.... about.. the.. TREMOLO! :D see yah. -Bert

Hello Sir, I apologise for being so formal but this is the first time I have had the opportunity to communicate with you. I have being playing the guitar for the past twenty years and had no formal training as such. But I listen to your music every day and try and learn and use some of the techniques you use in your awesome compositions. I live in a place called Siliguri thats about an hour by flight from Calcutta. Theres only one major question I would like to ask you what chord do you use in the second part of Crystal planet the only notes I could get were a C /F# /C and another F#. What chord is that I don't see it in any book here But MAN its a mindblowing chord. Regards JOHN
