HEY JOE. A BIG HELLO FROM A SWEET SOUTHERN GIRL. YOU AND YOUR BAND ARE AWESOME!!!! LOOKING FOWARD TO YOUR SHOW AT THE HOB IN THE GREAT CITY ON NEW ORLEANS ( ALSO KNOWN AS THE PLANT OF NEW ORLEANS.) IT IS GOING TO BE A MIND EXPANDING WEEKEND BEING THAT IT IS HOLLOWEEN. THE "FREAKS" ARE REALLY GOING TO BE OUT. HOPE YA'LL WILL GET TO ENJOY SOME OF OUR SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY AND EAT SOME GREAT FOOD WHILE YA'LL ARE DOWN HERE. I KNOW THE SHOW WILL BE BRAIN BUSTER BECAUSE THIS WILL BE THE 4TH TIME I HAVE SEEN YA'LL. I LIVED IN THE SAN FRAN AREA AND SAW YA'LL TWICE AND THEN WHEN YA'LL WERE IN DALLAS. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO GET TO MET ALL OF YA'LL UP CLOSE WHILE YA'LL ARE IN NEW ORLEANS. STAY COOL AND THERE IS LOVE IN SPACE. LOOK FOR THE BLOND WITH LONG LEGS THAT IS JAMMING AND ROCKING THE HOUSE. SEE YA! SUNNYGIRL

Hi everyone....I also want to know what's up with the December 27th show at the Warfield..we were planning on going to both nights and now it's not listed??? Austin, do you know what's going on? Cuz I know you were going to both shows also. New to post, but have been loving reading what everyone has to say...my son and I are confirmed "Satchaholics"... he's 16 and I'm 45 and we like the same music!!! That could be really wierd, except that the music is Joe's, so of course we both like it! Saw him in Reno Sept 2nd and haven't come back to earth yet...he inspires my son to play guitar...got to meet him by accident, or fate.....and he was so nice and warm and friendly..looking foward to platinum tickets for the December show! And would go gold at least for the second night! Hope the show is still on!

Sunnygril now I can't stop thinking about your long legs = ).......Joe you are a lucky guy hahaha, here in mexico hard to see blonde girls with long legs haha.
All I´ve seen the promotional video in the peavey's web page for the jsx, and Joe says that he wants to realese more products with peavey, like distortions boxs or wha pedals. Imagine that, I think Joe is really in to peavey

chris...the amps were very high ended and tinny...and the low was muddy...joe mentioned something to me about the low being muddy to...the venu was picking up feedback in odd places as well...might have just been the beacon theater though...i'm still undecided about them as well...

joe, i just saw you at the keswick theater in glenside ( philadelphia) and man you are still just the absolutely greatest guitarist i have ever seen-or heard! How do you keep coming up with all this material and how do you remember every song note for note, i mean it's like listening to the cd's except your there jamming 30 feet away. your shows are always incredible and your an inspiration to everyone who plays guitar.....if you didn't make it in the music biz, what kind of career would you have tried to be successful at? keep rockin' and hope all is well with your family and friends. peace

webmaster - Can you give us any more info about the disappearance of the second San Francisco show? Is this a similar situation to what happened with the Chicago shows (you can't list the second one until the first sells out)...?

If you can't tell us that, can you at least tell us if the show was cancelled because of a scheduling conflict (either Joe's schedule or the venue's schedule)?

cheese101 - Hi Chris.

I don't know what's up with the second night at the Warfield. If I had to guess, I would say that it was removed for the same reason as the third Chicago show...and it will be added later (I'm assuming you're familiar with that situation...if not, let me know and I'll give you more info.). That's just a guess, though.

The second show is still listed at Pollstar, but it can sometimes take them up to two days to update their information.

This is inconvenient for me as well. I was planning on going to the 12/26 show by myself, and the 12/27 show with my dad and youngest brother.

My dad and youngest brother were planning on going to the Buffalo Bills / San Francisco 49ers game on 12/26 (with some other members of my family). But if Joe is now only doing one SF show, I think at least one of them would rather see the concert instead of the football game...

...Austin...

My computer is finally working. my modem was broken for 2 weeks so I could only post from work. It feels so good to be able to do stuff at ones own home. So what's the first thing I do when I get on the net. Check email? No. Do past due homework? No. Post on the this site of course! That's what. A man has to set his priorities.

Thanks Austin for the reply. I guess you could say we are anxious to see Joe! And would love to see him many, many times, but if all we can do is the one night, we'll take it!! I am familiar with the Chicago schedule, as I've been reading posts on this site since late August. We'll just have to cross our fingers the first night is a sell-out so they open up the second night, if it's possible to fit into Joe's schedule! From all the show reviews so far, this should be an incredible concert, well worth traveling for! It would be cool if Joe and the guys would come more north too, like Portland and Seattle...we'd be there too!

Uh oh, just checked mailbox with fingers crossed, my ticket for the 23rd is not in there. Only three days left till EWJS. Zinc Master, Jazzzzzzzy have you received your tickets yet? I hate to sound repetitious but I asked a couple of days ago and no one got back. I was calming other people down saying the tickets will come; now i'm the one who is worried.

Fuckin' Fanfire!

My name is Elizabeth and my "good-friend," TIM WEBLEY, is a huge fan! You may remember signing his Steve Vai custom at the Tower Records here in Hoffman Estates... ...I even found him an autographed pic of you for him for christmas... ...I have bought tickets for us to see you OCT 22, at the House of Blues in Chicago...

Our relationship is a little undetermined at this time, and I was hoping if you could say a word or two about how "Once you find love, you shouldn't let it go " or something to that effect with his name -- it would show him how much I care and what I'm willing to go through for him -- which is needless to say, BEGGING you for a little help.

I'm sorry this message will be written everyday 'til the 22, since I'm not sure when or if you will even see this. Sorry for the annoyance.

Doin' a speech tomorrow on the influence of Satch Vai, and Malmsteen on my playing. Should turn out cool. Malmsteen for the speed, Satch for the feeling and Vai for opening my ears a bit more. Only has to be 5 Min long. Should be a cake. I can talk about those three for hours.

The band has an audition in Feb for a summer festival. Should be cool 3000-4000 people normally. Lots of practice till then. 40 songs and adding. Off to write my speech.
