civgeek The 550 is actual a custom RG550, he used to work at Ibanez and that's how he got it. It used to have a Fire Alarm Red finish, he had it sanded down (headstock, too) for a nice natural oil finish. He's got a green PAF PRO in the neck, I think the stock single coil in the middle, and an Ibanez F2 in the bridge. Really nice guitar, I'm definitely buying it from him. It's close enough I can pick it up too, maybe a 40 minute drive, unless he wants to meet halfway.

Sorry couldn't resist. I'm just THE Ugly American when it comes to soccer. Couple that with being more of a player than a watcher and you have a very bad fan. Enjoy the game!!

Zenfish...I find your last post very insulting.

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL WHO LIVE HERE

That includes EVERYONE, be they any race, any nationality, any color, any religion or lack of one....ANYONE who lives here. It is the anniversary of the birth of OUR NATION however it came about...and I'm proud to be an American, just like anyone else might be proud to be Canadian, French, Australian, Chinese, ANYTHING. I wasn't there at the beginning of our nation, but I'm here now and I'm DAMN proud to be.

And America even welcomes assholes to live here.....

Civgeek- lol again... although I would prefer Italy to win, I have to say that Germany are playing fair, and either side really deserve to win- very evenly matched. It's just that DAMN KLINSMANN!!!! :)

But do I hope and pray france whip Portugal tomorrow night....

Hi Joe and everyone, this is my first post.

Just looking for a little advice on writing chord progressions. I am currently writing an album and have a few good songs on it and they all have simple major minor chords in them but they work and sound good.

However I am wanting to try and make some of the other songs more interesting and allow the listener to feel more for the song.

For instance I have a song called Friends with the lyrics written but can't find a way to write the feel good chords that should go with it, take your song with the same title as an example, that makes you feel great.

Or say for example your song I wish I could fly ahs amazing feel good chords and they are strange and more out the box than what i've been doing.

A lot of the time I find myself just copying other peoples chords, like yours but I hate doing that, it doesn't seem original.

Have you ever copied the chords from your favorite artists/

any advice from everyone would be helpful and thoughts on taking progressions from other songs, good or bad.

thanks
