Suzie - Actually, no; I haven't had any takers yet. A bunch of my students have expressed interest, but that's about as far as it goes at the moment... By the way, I agree with you about how unfair it is that UK residents always get the shitty end of the stick with stuff like this. Unlike you, however, I lack the balls to do anything about it!!! lmao

Satriella - Well, the stag do is on a Tuesday primarily for my benefit to be honest. My brother lives in London and I live on the South Coast, which means we have to arrange it so that I don't have to rush back for work in the morning, and Wednesdays are my only late start at the moment. Also, my brother's a professional musician too, and he has gigs booked in for every weekend between now and his own wedding, which obviously means that a Friday or Saturday night is out of the question. It really is a pain in the ass, but my brother's stag do is more important to me than a Joe Satriani gig, to be honest. I only have one brother and (fingers crossed!) he'll only have one wedding, whereas there will undoubtedly be more Satriani shows in London.

SUPAADAVE- Can understand you feeling angry- but don't stop posting altogether- you're part of the family! :)

MASTERYODA- lol... luckily I really DO lack the balls :D I've cheered myself up about the London gig stuff a bit now, have mourned the lost opportunity to meet Joe etc... :( Shame about your clash of dates- still as you say there'll be another time! Take it easy

KENIKO- Sorry to hear about your bad e-mail... hope it resolves? Or is there no hope of it? Just been looking on your website again btw, it's very cool :)

I even had a few of Joe's DVD's out to watch while I was down and out - I didn't even have the energy to watch them.

Today is better - but still very tired / foggy in the head.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Maybe if/when Joe tours again, all will work out.

I am just happy I didn't purchase the platinum package - since that is not transferrable.

Can someone type up a set list for Joe's show(s)? I have read some of the songs that were played, but a set list would be nice.

Would someone be so kind to do that?

Thanks

Captain Steeeeeeve, a revolution eh? lmao!! I wouldn't go that far. It's just very disappointing when yer such a huge fan and things don't go yer way. Heartbreaking, but it works out for the most part (for some of us anyways). I totally understand Dave's disappointment. I'm gonna miss him. Hopefully he'll be back in a bit when he calms down. He's a great guy and he has a lot on his mind with his growing family and all. He could have used a good Satch show. Like I said before, those of us who get to see Joe should be grateful, cause there's a lot of people out there who don't. I, for one, cherish every moment.

Now go swab the deck ya bloody trouble maker! lmao!! ;-)

Suzo.....Yeah ! ! ! It's over. He's not even man enough to phone me. Has to answer by email. Totally unprofessional. Oh Well, back to the drawing board. Hey ! ! ! You're a Londoner. Have you heard of a Mick Reeves in London? How about a London Blues guitarist named Roger Betts? Just curious.

Hi all :-)

Suzie - So sorry honey ...I hate to think that I have made you mad or sad...it was unintentional sweety.....when ya feel bad...no matter what the problem...its still a problem eh....sorry for seeming unsympathetic.

Zinc Master - Aaaaah you poor thing...that is a bad week! I don't care if you are still contagious...big Hug to you!...Oh and your cheeriness has been missed although a few people have posted some funnies to keep us going

slanshroom - You have the answer...that's good...well I hope it is....is it 42? ... sorry I have been in such a silly mood today

gruskada - Oh you are working so hard on your joe stuff...I hope you are keeping all the hard copies in a book or something and that Joe gets to see it and sign it one day :-) keep it up

keniko - Oh ...that's sad....the hissy fit I mean....hope you get it back together...some people just have a bad day and take things all the wrong way...hopefully thats all it is ?

SupaDave - Hi...that's all

Master Yoda - Yep you are right...I am sure Joe has many more albums and years in him yet...there will be another chance.....hopefully I will be at that gig too and get to meet you then?....Have a great time....and go easy on the fella....hehe....he IS the only brother you have...hehe...but you can tell us...any mad stunts planned for him? hehe

Oh fantastic news....drove miles today to get my son some shoes (long story...they have to be exactly right...but it is the only thing he is fussy about sooo I don't mind)...which was kinda good coz he has made an absolutely stonking compilation album which is perrrrrrrrrfect for car journeys...but that's a nother story....anyway...after much wrongwayness we eventually got to a designer village...and lo....in the donnay shop...a basket and ye it was overfloweth with old calenders...knocked down from £6.99 to £0.10.....great ...I got 10 different ones...so now I am in drawing heaven...lots of work to do...best be off then...

Take care all...

Hugs Satriella xx

Joe Satriani is legendary…

so down to earth with his Satch fans…

Even though he’s not from this Earth…

It took me almost nineteen years to meet Joe…

some people never will, but his music still stirs their souls…

Conch and Joe Satriani..........I think I see Dave's point. I know how some people feel very lucky to be able to see JS in concert but really it is Joe Satriani who should be grateful to his longstanding loyal fans for providing the consistent demand for his product over the years. It is a fan like that who gave me a copy of ITLIS. As a result I have now bought much of Joe's back catalogue and bought tix to see him in concert along with my wife and son who has become one of the new generation of Joe fans. I know you can't please all the people all the time and this post is by no means meant as a rant against Joe but I can feel Dave's frustration from here!

Peace and keep rocking

Steve.

DELFINO PIE- Meant to say, sorry to hear about your evening- hopefully you can have a better one tonight!! :) Your photo certainly summed up how you were feeling...

SLANSHROOM- Notice from reading one of your posts that you live in Barcelona, is that right? It's only we're going there for a week in August, wondered if you knew of or could recommend any decent music bars or clubs, guitar / rock / flamenco? Cheers :)

SATRIELLA- Thanks, but don't apologise, I'm the one who should be doing that for my Mrs SNAP behaviour! lol :)

CAPT STEVE- Up the revolution!!! lol p.s. is that ITLIS copy the one that's still in the abyss... hmm

KENIKO- sorry to hear that about your bassist :( That really sucks, like you say, especially the woosy-ish way he contacted you... hope you get a replacement for him really soon :) No I've not heard of those guitarists you mentioned, will see if I can find info on them though.

Holmes........Yes, it is the one lost in the ether. Next time I order some CD's it will be added to the list. I know a lot of people have posted about Joe taking his playing to a new level with SC but I think I prefer ITLIS. Having said that, SC is growing on me as every time I listen to it I hear bits I hadn't noticed before.

Hey All you Satch fans ! By the looks of all the posts it easy to see that most are really diggin the tour and the new CD release......except for Dave....dude Im sorry it was a dissapointment for this tour, but keep up the faith....good chance he might come around. I had the same feeling for a few years and as you can see from earlier posts it was 1year ago I was asking him to GET HERE! and we got luky. I hope the same will happen for you next tour! Im 45yrs young and bouncing of the wall like a 5 year old!!!! Its Friday after work and Mondays show is getting closer!!!!...never thought I'd get so fired up and nervous about seeing a show and meeting the worlds greatest guitarist!!....man he's only human!..but this will be my first time seeing him live and from the front row so I know im gonna FREAK!.....I gotta get "subdued" somehow to calm down...thought I would start here then maybe blast the axe for awhile. Hope you all have a wonderful nite...Party Hard-Party Safe....

excel, thanks for your e-mail! That's ace that you got yourself a platinum for the Bournemouth show! I would, but I just can't afford it.....I really can't right now, too much credit borrowed from the bank! haha.

Still, we'll definitely have to arrange something before the show, it'd be good to meet up with people again!
