This is the original post I found on Soundclick:
UNSIGNED ARTISTS: SOUND AID NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Your music can actually help cure world hunger. Did you know that 24,000 people will die today of starvation? Mothers will lose children, children will lose parents, and spouses will lose each other. These are people and families JUST like us!
Now there is a way that you and your music can TRULY make a difference.
There is a new website called Sound Aid ( http://www.soundaid.org) who's goal is to raise funds to battle world hunger. ALL of the proceeds from the site will go to the Heifer Foundation. (http://www.heifer.org)
From the moment that I heard about the Heifer Foundation I was sold on their concept. Funds raised are used to give families a food source rather than short term relief. Instead of a cup of milk the families get a cow, a flock of hens, a goat, or rabbits. This gives them self reliance through a sustainable source of food and income. The female offspring are passed along to other needy families so your gift is a gift that keeps giving.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
Please consider donating your music to the cause. All that is needed is four to six songs (enough for an EP). Listeners can then check out your sound clips and download your EP for a $5.00 donation. Just think....your songs could comfort a hungry child for the days to come. Not just one child, but many. So please come by Sound Aid and sign on. Everyone and anyone is welcome to come by the site, listen to some music clips from some GREAT artists, donate and download. Another way you can help is to place our banner on your page for the world to see. Just copy and paste the html code found on our My Space page to your profile. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. One last favor...PLEASE pass this message along to your friends. What a blessing that would be! Together we can heal world hunger one song at a time. Thank you so very much and God bless you.
Love and Peace,
Beth
PS
Music is a gift from God. Please consider using that gift to to give your fellow man the gift of life.

Cap Steve, never met him. But if you want to discover a huge guitar talent, look for Gonçalo Pereira! He's portuguese and he's a great guitar player. If you can't find him, let me know and I'll share some videos of him...
Cheers,
VP

Steve, that site is completely out of date. Seriously, the guy has been doing some serious guitar work in the last few years... I'll look for some videos at home and will try to share them here. They're definitely worthy!

SLANSHROOM
Only one person thinks he's causing agro on this site. Its all entertainment to me cos after all what can he really do sat at a computer half way around the world ? I've just been playing with the sucka only he don't get it. I actually think it's sad that some people just put others down to make themselves feel better. It takes more than someone just saying something on a forum to really upset me. Lifes to short. Its all just a laugh to me really.
Once again cheers for the links bud cos I do find concpiracies facinating whatever the points of view people take. It amazes me the way different people can interpret an idea. Same on this forum you can make a point about something and some one else will always present you with a new angle on a subject. I find it all intriguing.... :-)

PHRYDOM
Nice one bout the biker meeting the parents....
This couple are in bed. They hear a car pull up in the drive. The girl jumps out of bed.
"Quick hide it's my husband"
Defiant the guy says
" I'm not gonna hide in the cupboard waiting how ever long it takes and end up running half naked down the road in the cold rain. Stuff that for a game of soldiers.Send him up here."
Now starting to really panic the girl says "I cant have my husband find you naked up here, he'll kill you and me."
Still defiant the guy says "I don't care just send him up here."
As she's putting her clothes on "Why?What are you going to do?"
The guy says "Just send him up here and don't worry. Just act as if nothings happened and send him up here."
She goes down stairs and greets her husband as he's coming through the door. "Can you go upstairs to the bedroom there's a man that wants to so you."
The husband goes up to the room and opens the door. He's astonished when he sees a naked man standing on his bed under the light bulb with a butterfly catchers net. The husband shouts
"What the hell dya think you're doing?"
The guy replies "These damn moths !!! "

Heeeey-O!!!! Anything going on here? Just looked at a few recent posts, too many pages to look through since the last time.
MarimariSRV Thank you, you are too nice. I think I heard the Who tribute show is sold out?! If it is, Paul Gilbert better tour the US [cough]east coast[/cough] once he finishes his new CD. If not, I will bug him to no end until he does! Ahh, I'm pretty hungry, wanna finish this post quick... I'll talk to you later.
Satriella Hey!
-I have some (more) recording to do this month. Need to finish Dream Theater's 'As I Am' - I just need to put in a solo, should do that one day this week. Also, going to be recording DT's 'Overture 1928'. Then, finally will be have the time to record my own stuff (more on that to come.)
Listening to Queensryche - Jet City Woman...again, I can listen to it over and over. Might be seeing Queensryche Sept. 23...the night before my B-Day!
Matt King Heard about the article in the magazine, I'll have to check it out... Do you have a band going right now? I live in Toms River, used to live in Brick, moved when I was in 5th grade...graduating high school in 3 weeks! Woooo! I've been trying to get a band going or trying to find one... already tried mooching off Dave Weiner, but he said he's already got a line up...once he plays shows around here, I'm going to see if he'll let me be a special guest for a song or something, maybe he'll change his mind once he hears me. I'll talk to you later, gotta get some lunch.
