Oh my word.....

Ipods are great!!!!

I tell you doing the shopping yesterday was a whole new experience with Green Day blasting in my ears...

HAHA but have you ever tried NOT to sing along to your favourite sing-a-long song....OH my word its so hard...

I just shopped with a huge grin on my face with the occasional dance if I had to stop...

hmmmmm I was getting some strange looks from shoppers yesterday....can't think why!

rings on her fingers and bells on her toes (that's an ipod in modern language)...she shall have music WHERE-EVER she goes!!!!

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!

but...

HELP HELP HELP

Does anyone know anything about computers around here?

here is what I have to do to get albums onto I-Tunes...load up computer...connect to internet...put one album in...then it crashes/freezes everything....so close down the computer and turn off...then start all over again....for every single stupid album....did 20 yesterday....drove me nuts...why can't it do more than one album! Believe me I have tried all sorts of different ways to do it too!

And here is another stupid thing...it doesn't recognise Joes (well OK it did with one) albums...so I have to type in all the tracks...which is no biggy...but it recognised the Echo CD?

Er How come that??????

Jeepers.....I don't get computers?

But if anyone has a solution to the one album at a time thing...I would be grateful for an answer coz I still got at least another 20 albums to do.

Hugs Satriella xx

blue moon iPods can be set to run on windows ..I know guys not even using iTunes they use realplayer to load em up.. the creative zen has known issues with reliability (they crap out and die fast). you should get the facts before you run your mouth.

Satriella: Thanks so much!! The pics are great!

I told you I look goofy when I pose for a picture. Notice that everyone said "The pics are great. Especially the first one!".

Well, they ARE both great, but I really like the SECOND one, and so does Brianna!! Wow! It's YOUR birthday, but I get the present!! Happy Birthday!!

This definitely deserves to be printed on a poster. The problem is going to be finding wall space in my studio for another poster. I wonder how it would look printed on an Auralex acoustic foam panel? Hmmmm...

BTW, Dream Theatre are coming to the Berkeley Community Theatre on July 28th. Unfortunately, it looks like there will be no VIP tix for this venue. Very sad. I guess I could fly down to Los Angeles for the show on the 27th, but I don't know if I'll be able to afford it. What to do...

Mr Satriani, My name is Johnathan Menzies, i am a 17 year old from Bonnie Scotland and I would just like to tell you how amazing i think your music is, it's absolutley mind-blowing! You are an inspiration!

i have recently decided to begin an album collection, and i thought that i'd let you know that i picked your albums :D

I love how your style varies so much as i never get bored listening to your tracks. I mean you know what its like when you listen to any album/artist over and over in a row and by about the 3rd/4th time you feel like throwing it out the window :P but with your variation in style, it keeps me hooked, like "Rubina" to "Ceremony", or "Day at the Beach" to "If".

Currently i have:

The Electric Joe Satriani - An Anthology Strange Beautiful Music Crystal Planet Joe Satriani The Extremist Surfing With The Alien Not Of This Earth

Hopefully, Super Colossal will arrive tomorrow :D Looking forward to hearing it. "Is There Love In Space" is definetly next on my list of purchase.

Thank you so much for the enjoyment that you have given me :D

Johnathan Menzies, Scotland

P.s Please come to Scotland soon, i would love to see you live! :D

Dear Joe,

I a young writer and musician in Boston, and I am writing an article on music education for Jazz Times or another jazz magazine. I am specifically addressing the effects of classical music training on jazz and other modern forms of music playing. Your unique opinion would enhance my discussion of the topic, and I would be grateful for anything that you have to say.

Some questions that I venture to answer are whether classical training is necessary for excellence in other musical areas, whether any substitutes exist for study instead of classical music, and whether any specific instruments might require different musical training in the above respects.

A phone interview would be ideal if you have the time. I can call you anytime you would like. Otherwise please post. Please include a written approval for me to include anything that you write in my article.

Thanks and best regards, Jon Fisher (www.jonjazz.com)
