now I gotta work out how to get up there, my sister is out of the question for acomodation , and a lift, there away for the weekend..
any know if theres car parking or car parks at the horden in sydney or near it. close walking?
other than that maybe stay at a hotel near by and come home the next day..

cheese101 My dad is now home from the hospital, but not without scaring us a few times. He and my mom are really struggling at home, and I help as much as I can. The good part is he's HOME....two weeks in the hospital isn't really any fun, lol.....I hope to see him get stronger and feel much better soon, and to see my mum be able to relax a bit. It's a long road to recovery for him, but he's made it this far and I'm very thankful.
Our Sweetie kitty is also doing better....we took her to the first Vet who said we needed to put her to sleep....but thanks to a knowledgeable friend, we got a second opinion and there are treatment options we are trying. She is still bright-eyed and happy, no pain, so we are guardedly hopeful we can keep her well for some time. Kidney failure will get her eventually, but we will do all we can to help her live well until then. My son is finally able to stop crying and grieving....it has been such a strain for him, as she means the world to him.
that's great about your dad being home :)
about your cat - how old is she? I have an 18yr old who's still hanging in there O_o though he's kinda going mental....meowing for no reason, going toilet inside!! little bugger!
