I saw on the news the other day where a man saved his own life with a shot-gun by blowing a hole in the roof to escape through his attick! The waters were blocking all other exits.

And how about probable cause? The military/police allegedly were trying to get residents to leave, but took the guns from them and let guys stay. Seems they just wanted to take all the weapons away. Forget the people (except old ladies in front of a camera). They could have left her with the gun and saved face claiming not wanting to hurt an old lady. They wrestled her to the ground!

I Don't Know Why......I wish I had the answer, I think the drug is a major part of it. I sent Steven a copy of your last post to him and me......he read it but I've gotten no reply yet. Be patient, I know it's hard Mark. Send him your email directly and in the subject: say IMPORTANT! Don't send him too many emails otherwise he will get overwhelmed. I didn't get to call him this weekend but I will do so during the week, I promise. I will ask him about your message when I talk to him. OK? If that doesn't work then I will have you send it to me and I will forward it.....I'd rather have it go directly to him, his email is working....he's just NOT answering. That's the difference....it's his choice not to talk on this site anymore, in my opinion......there's nothing stopping him but himself. I miss him very much. I thought we were very close, we still are but the drugs are creating a black hole between us. Only Steven Wilde can change that.......... God Bless You both! Is that you have been playing for so long and have so many cd's and yet you still create the most beautiful music I have ever heard. Now that is a true artist. You will always win the worlds greatest guitarist in my heart. It has been a little over 4 months that my best friend past away and there is not one day that goes by that I dont think about your music and how it has helped me with such a horribal expierence to go through. marimari...thank u for the info...i guess yu are right...it is for steven to decide who he wants to talk to .....frankly i simply cannot understand why he is not answering my emails and my phone calls,,,,,,earlier i tried calling him at least twice a week but nowadays that has stopped coz i am running at a low budget and top it all he is never in the receiving end but just the answering machine..as for the being alone part,,i guess steven will never be alone coz we are all rallying behind him to get out of this rut and come back a stronger and better man..i wonder what made him become what he is today,,,,he was into all that stuff earlier but had given it all up to accept jesus christ..he was a born again.....his being a born again is very instrumental in shaping up our friendship...he always had encouraging and loving words for me when i was goin thru rough times......the change in locality cannot be the sole factor for his getting into drugs again.........i will be mailing him again as soon as i finish this post...please let me know when yu talk to him...i have also left several messages in his website.....may god be with him and yu too ...always.....

kd6aaj's post (or the first line of it anyway) is, I think, enough justification the dakook was right to flag it up!

While I do agree with many of the points you raise, perhaps I can be devil's advocate and suggest that by actually posting your comments (about the objections to the use of the 'C' word) rather than just thinking them, you were not actually practising what you preach. :-)
