**Warning** longish, ranty type post.

So, I have a question or three: Firstly, what's the story behind Wolf2? Anybody know?

Having had to wade through umpteen hundreds of posts to get up to date with the board (mainly in case I missed something interesting from Joe or other regulars here) I just had to ask about wofe2.

I wondered if he was really a baboon (his favourite song is BigBaboon after all) rigged up to some kind of typing machine and being used in some sort of scientific experiment in a lab somewhere?

Maybe he's a pseudo intelligent computer bot trying to improve his creative writing skills (still needs a lot of work IMO).

Really, though, does anybody else wish the board was threaded? Maybe Jon Luini has discussed the reasons why the T2J message board is still using it's current format? (which I agree is far better than way back when he would manually have to step in and start a new comments page - which happened when the existing page was too long to scroll down through! That was way before bulletin boards were common place though.)

If T2J was threaded, wolf2 could have a thread all his own and folks could read through all his musings in one place, if they so desired. Same goes for other topics that you wanted to keep track of.

A while back, there were quite a few board members going through difficulties in their lives; it would be great to be able to quickly find their comments in a specific thread and to find out or ask how things were going.

Same for discoveries of links to web pages with comments or vids about Joe or other related and interesting stuff. Sadly, a lot of great links get lost in the volume of traffic that passes through here.

Anyway, for me it would make the whole concept of 'Talk to Joe' that exists here so much more useful. That's my rant over for now. Hope you all have a good day.

Loll
(Still waiting patiently for news of any samplers of PSATMOR)

Igneousiceman:
You may want to check if there are any grooves underneath your intonation bridges.I had a problem with my strat doing the same thing.Sometimes the intonation bridges move back & forth or side to side when under pressure or when you use the tremolo. Also check to see if your bridge mounting is tight. If you continue to have this problem after all those checks, take it to a pro for evaluation.Maybe you need a new locking tremolo bridge fitted to your axe.Ultimately I had to do that for my stratocaster. It solved the problem for me.Hope this helps?...

Clarky:
Congrats on your good fortune with Marshall.
Have you been able to open those tunes I sent you?...

loll talk to joe is "a free-for-all stream of consciousness" according to this page. the threaded-or-not topic has come up many times but IIRC joe and/or jon prefer it this way. satrianiforum.com is fully threaded, though, and shares many members with this place ;)

clarky wtg big fella! :)

Thanks for letting me know maritime.

It's a funny thing but in my book a 'free-for-all stream of consciousness' doesn't work very well as a means to show Joe whats's on people's minds because none of the posts are titled. If Joe was able to see a bunch of current hot topic titles that would do a much better job. Anyway, it's obviously been suggested a million times and hasn't been received well so I suppose I'll just skip on over to the site with the forum and see how that's looking (thanks for the heads up on that PhryDom).

Only three weeks till the albums due.

Hey Joe, Im am very excited about the Clinics your holding at GC's. What an awesome idea...especially being on the edge on my seat waiting on the US tour announcements...speaking of which, General Admission sucks and the best shows ive seen were held at the Beacon Theater (FIABD,ISLIS). BTW How are you going to hold a Clinic in NY on April 2nd and be on Rockline the same evening in LA? That will be some fast plane youll be flying..good luck! Finally, cant wait to see the dvd of SF. The video i recorded of it is a big youtube hit (about 12,000 presently)and i must say after watching it over 100 times, its still as amazing as the first time and many say its better than the studio version..i agree! Check out the comments! See ya in Manhattan on the 2nd and gl with the new album ...Professor Satchafunkilus ..lol
