Hi, Joe.

I finally get to come to one of your concerts. :-) I'm soooooooo excited! My dad got two meet and greet passes for the show in Houston Texas. It's hard to believe that I finally get to meet the man who is responsible for getting me into my life's passion.... You are an inspiration. Thank you for your great music.

It was a great night around my house last night....for me anyway. I FINALLY got the JS1000!! Caught a pretty good sale at Guitar Center. I have had to sell most everything I own on Ebay so that I could come up with most of the money. Very happy though. It plays great!

This is my first guitar with a temelo however. If it ever breatks, I'm in trouble. Just stringing it looks to be far more complicated than anything I have every played. Keep in mind, I played drums for 30 years...I have now been playing guitar for 2 and half years.

So now that I have my first tremelo, does anyone know how to explain the whammy tricks Joe uses?

I got the guitar last night at about 7 o'clock, and i played until 2 in the morning. It's smooth as silk!

New member here and a bassist. Joe, however, has been my musical inspiration even though I am a bassist. So now I am definitely a "lead" bassist! Oh yeah, I can get down with the groove, keep the bottom, all that you bet, but I am a bassist of another color thanks to Joe. I write entire bass songs complete with melody, not just bass lines. Striving to continue improving, best to all from Oregon! Heres a few humble offerings on my soundclick page:

JS1200Js1000 - LOL. Ya, my computer was locked up as I was trying to send it, so I guess I hit the send 3 times! But it was exciting enough to post it 3 times. =) I played for about another 3 hours today. That guitar is so incredibly smooth.

Zf: Very interesting thoughts...oh, and I knew about the accents, just couldn't get them in the post!!! Are umlauts really used in french?! I know of them from German but have never come across them in french. Personellement, je pense que l'allemand c'est plus facile que le francais. Le francais c'est une belle langue...=D

Matt: What about the olympics? That will be eaiser to reach than le tour.

Joe Satrini: How about the race eh?!?!? His Royal Lewisness reigned supreme. Great race, and a great circuit...

DTS: I first came across countdown when I was off to Florida and Cape Kennedy etc, it seemed a very apt song at the time...and I still like it. have you noticed how similar to Subdivisions it sounds?!?

RevDom: I took a taster session in Photography at college last year...it was full of arty girls. I am neither. Apparently you had to be taking art as well! Nice you think I have an eye for the thing. It's worth thinking about...I could go all Monty Python here, as in "Horse drawn cart? Pah, when I were a lad we were lucky to have a donkey..." (etc.) If you don't know what I mean watch this.

You people are good at giving advice, did you know that?

JS1000's must be good to get that many posts....

Have you ever heard a song hundreds of times throughout your life, and then you hear it one day and suddenly it hits you? I've just heard this song, and had a holy shit moment. I'm there.

Michelle - I recently had that experience with 2 songs from Super Coloassal. It's so Good and Movin On. I have heard them both probably almost a 100 times and thought they were pretty good. Then one day on the way home from work I was listening to that CD and it hit me. LOVE THEM BOTH!!

Can you repost your link. I couldn't get the song you were trying to show us.

Still working on my setlist. I have it narrowed down to 33 songs. I need to shave it down to about 24. I think that would be cool. Some of Joe's 10 minute songs would probably have to be trimmed down to 6 minutes or so to get a 24 song show.
