Hey Joe , Thanks for coming to Canada for a few shows , cant wait to see you and Stu together, this is gonna rock , just one site suggestion, under what instrument do you play , your only allowed to choose one item, many people like myself play more than one instrument, I'd like to choose guitar, bass, and keyboards since these are what i play on a regular basis, but since this is a string orientated site I'd stick with guitar/bass , so once again , thanks Joe , for teaching us and giving us inspiration to release our music from within in ways we didn't know. If i get anymore technical I'll be here forever, but I think you got the point. P.S. I hope you play Ten Words on tour , it's an emotional masterpiece, by the way, what are the ten words?

Anyone know if they are going to have any more concerts than those already listed and if so, when will they list the new shows?
Joe, Atlanta is a great place to have a concert! (Hint, Hint)

Heeeeeey Joe,
Have you heard of the band BLACK TIDE? I mentioned them on here before and first heard them about 7 months ago. They're a group of kids that have a kick ass band. The singer/lead guitarist Gabriel Garcia is ZZ's age!! They have an article in this months Guitar Player about them.
Two of the guys were asked "Who are some of the players that inspired you to get into music??
Garcia: My favorite guitar player is Joe Satriani. He's so musical that his songs don't even need vocals. His guitar is the voice. He can totally shred, but he chooses not to. He chooses to be musical, and I love that.
Then he goes on to mention Jason Becker and Marty Friedman.
Oh yeah, and there's this...Joe Satriani’s Bending Drill

zinjan: Nice idea playing Joe's stuff on acoustic, I tried playing Surfing and AWMAWY but don't have a 22nd fret on my acoustic. Woops...=D
BlueMoon: You've actually seen Joe this time around, so why not donate all proceeds of the fund to a poor English kid who hasn't... ;-)
Anyone who's interested, here's a very young Bonamassa

Hello Lads 'n' Lasses, I'm just wondering; for the Club Joe tickets, do they send you and e-mail that you need to bring to the gig or do you just print out the receipt? I'm going to the Sydney gig in a few weeks and I just want to get some stuff sorted out before it's too late.
Cheers.

I found the Summer Song / Sony commercial on YouTube just now:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_rWVPRP0nQ
I had never seen it until now...it's a nice piece of history.
Kagey - The official answer is no cameras at Joe's shows, but if you look around this site it's obvious that he's cool with fans taking pictures. So if you can get your camera in the door, you're good.
Keniko - Joe still had hair for JS95. ;-)
Kilgelec - It looks like the new shows are being added a few at a time. Yes, there will be more dates, but we don't really know when they'll show up.
Hmmm...all of my replies are to people whose usernames start with K.
...Austin...

Hi Joe. First let me just say (write) that your are the main reason why I learned to play guitar. Your solos kick ass dude and I practise every day like 4 or 5 hours just to manage to play like you but that is less than 5% of your speed. I wish you all the best and when are you finaly are going to add Bosnia to you tour. I would love to see you live and by the way nice singing in 05 G3. Your online student

Do the Stu - Thanks for the tip. I will definately sign up for that. What a dream come true it would be after all these years to finally see Joe but then to get to go back stage for a grip and grin too!
I love the Sony commercial. The power of the CD! Ya baby! I was getting ready to go dig out my chute pants and find some cardboard and head out to the sidewalk! =)
There are 2 Satch songs I just started really getting into alot! Movin On and It's so Good. Strange how you can hear a song 100 times and think ya it's ok, and then all the sudden something clicks and you just can't stop listening to it.
saw a cool youtube post yesterday...Satch and Andy Timmons guitar dual. "http://youtube.com/watch?v=P_ehgqgxxIE" They dual to House Full of Bullets. Very cool.

Hey Joe!
Thank you Jesus.... you're coming to my home town of Edmonton Alberta Canada......You have NO idea how long i have been waiting for this.....
The last time, and the first time I saw you in concert, I had to fly all the way to Raleigh North Carolina.....that was for the Crystal Planet tour....My mother emailed your label...trying to set something up for a meet and greet...ahhh...mothers.....looking after their kids...lol
I went to the venue to buy my tickets...the crew was setting up, I casually asked if you were there...hoping for a hand shake and me telling you how you've inspired me to pick up the guitar.....17yrs ago....thanks btw......but I was too chicken to go back and look....fear of getting booted out...lol.....
That night at the show, my uncle tried to get me a meet with you, but one of your road guys was being difficult....so I did not get to meet you.
So my question to you is this.....are you going to have a meet and greet at the Edmonton show in October. I realize that it is 4months away....but I would be complete as a guitar player to finally shake the hand of the man that inspired a scrawny 15yr old to pick up a guitar. If you have the time, please feel free to email me with details at johnnyfox@shaw.ca
Thanks for reading this long winded email Joe....and I cant wait for the show in October....take care

Hi Joe~
I had the great pleasure of meeting last year at the HOB in Chicago. We talked about Dayton and a disco band you once played in. Thanks for being so nice. My birthday is October 10th and this year on 10/10/2008, you'll be playing in Cleveland, OH (which is a lot closer to me than Chicago was!) and I want to come see you! I wanted to get reserved seating, but reserved seating is sold out already and it just went on sale less than an hour ago, so I'm asking for your help! Is there anything you can do?
Thanks~
Liz
