Scube: did I notice you aren't filtering through a wah? I recommend that as well, I get a good tone without additional eq that way.

Scuba a.o.: you're welcome. GG2 check yer mail. Tracie did it work?

After countless listening on speakers, on headphones, loud, not so loud, by day, by night, Wind In The Trees is still my favorite. A masterpiece you wish you wrote/played yourself. Maybe it's because I love outdoor hiking and biking in pine forests and beachwalks in the wind. Joe have you ever noticed the wind in pine trees sounds very different from wind in broad-leaved trees? Really whispers from different fairytales. And the harmonics layer in the song creates the dreamscape.
The album seems really short to me, maybe because there's so much different stuff on it. Every time the last song ends I feel: allready?

Waiting for the signed CD I ordered with Sony; without tracking. But it's on it's way.

Sunday morning cappucino.

Second listen, and I'm crying
Joe, it's a freaking awesome master job.
I will regret saying this, but as long as you keep delivering this kind of solo work I don't have a problem that you spend the time you want with da Foot.
I cannot still say what is my fav tune of BSAWW, they're all so good !
Prolly "Wind in The Trees" has impacted me the most. You've been so generous to leave to M. Keanelly to close the tune to the end with his lovelly solo. I was doubtfull adding keyboards to your work would work properly, but now I see you've hit the target again.
Thank you Joe for making our lives better. Once again.

ZF - One of the reasons I come here is to listen to the creative players that I would not have a chance to hear anywhere else. I know I am not the only one. Keep posting those tunes.

Bobcliffe... thanks... writing a lot of stuff isn't the problem... making each piece sound unique (it's own melody) and having others like it is the challenge. Some stuff I write I think sounds great, and yet I don't get any responses... obviously not that great, lol. Sometimes it's in the head of the musician for whatever reason (a melody or riff just seems to click with one person, yet not with another).

I also have the Big Bad Wah... it is first in my chain of effects. With it I get better harmonics in my notes. Never noticed a loss of sustain, though... I don't play too many notes that last too long. I'll have to try some slower stuff and check that out. I tried running (looping) my effects through the Mini Colossal send/return and they seemed to lose their dynamics. Perhaps that's because they are digital and not analog... not sure. My knowledge of guitar effects and amps are limited to limited experience.

..Just got out of the Tub threw some clean threads on.You know man I will tell you the atk rear brakes are real nice since it,s all new I rebuilt the rear caliper hey joe anyways first I had to devlop the rebuild kit for the company to sell i could have got a new rear caliper for around 450.00 right or american dirtbike has the kit.s i develop for rebuild for 14 .00 no shit rebuilt it for 14 or 450..00 and the 450.00 daollar caliper wasnt original to the bike mine was about 45,000 new hey man they all take the same kit.The caliper before i rebuilt it was toast man you hear me it seized right on the disc on my engine and got red hot anyways today again slightly green slimey bath it,s from the rebuilt grimeca german caliper when their properly rebuilt they control atmosphere around the rider for these ones whic makes the brain transmison better to the brakes anyways it,s called jarazineigh from the rebuilt caliper it makes the air filetered sort of around the brakes thats where the baths come from My rear brakes on it work exactly the way I want they left me alone to do it hey when I rebuilt it at the shell grage I developed some ferrari technology into it and it took about an hour to cure it apart!I wanted it to work they way i wanted it too first try and for a real long time it doesnt lock the motor up man she realy slows her down sometimes when it develops but wont lock it I had probles with it destroying transmison shaft end from the old brakes before i built the new engine and transmison and had to buy special deaces to fix the shaft! I needed the rear brakes to ride to some daughetr and some girlfriends went to them right away you cant ride it without rear brakes too much powere you cant do as much I am approoved by the police for just front brakes on it anyways their would be no caliper rebuild with me owning shell canada no rebuild without me developing the kit were good anyways moms out scooting later wolf2.

Joe,

Turning my basement into a guitar studio!! I am trying to find a good software, microphone, head phones, and a processor. Do you think that I should use the Cad microphone you designed? What processor do you use in your home studio? Your answer would be very helpful to me. And if you have any other ideas for my guitar studio please let me know

So I have finally given in and bought a ticket for Hammersmith. Listening to the podcasts and the mention of a setlist containing some songs never played or not played for a while has finally convinced me to part with the cash.

During the last tour, I saw Joe in Bournemouth and I had a ticket then for Hammersmith the following day or 2 days later, but I did not go, the setlist was full of the same songs I had heard over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I love Summer Song and Mystical etc, but I always feel these shows are an oppotunity to play the new album as much as possible and some of the other stuff. The regular songs are on every DVD if you wanna see them.

So fingers crossed for a setlist to die for. If its good then I'll probably head out to the US and catch some more shows in January. Thats what I did in 2004. That was a great tour !

P.S. Just read the post about Wolf getting out the tub...Eeek ! the thought of him washing his furry bits is just too much !
