Guitar Vibes- I think it was a little hard on Tony taking a back seat to Steve Lukather...Stop Loving You-Night of the Proms

I never realized how well his voice was so similar to the classic Toto material.

Hope the physical Therapy is going well.

Al - You seemed a little distraught last evening my friend, Take care of yourself and play us some more guitar.

Pip maybe your next video will not be headless.

Pip: Just got around to seeing your cover of Revelation. Are you playing a JS3?

Your fingers are long! Reminds me of Vai!

Great work, nice style...

OK, I'm playing catch-up on T2J now. I have 18 pages to get through, so it'll probably take me a few days...

Skippy - You suggested I listen to the Almost Famous soundtrack. I don't have that (I have many of the songs on other releases already), but I do have an audio CD of the Stillwater songs that came with the "untitled" special edition DVD of the movie. I assume you already have the film, but if not I highly recommend this expanded version of it...
castle49 - Are you thinking of David Gilmour's On An Island? I bought that shortly after it came out but I don't know that I've ever given it a proper listen...I need to dig it up.
scubadaz - Wow...thank you VERY much for finding that Ian Gillan interview. I never thought you'd actually come up with it (not that I doubted you; I just thought it wouldn't exist in full online). I've saved the link and will listen to it soon.
Pip Satriani - If you dig through Music Radar's Chickenfoot interview archives, Chad talks about the Will Ferrell thing...pretty funny.
burly - Any chance you can record a sound clip of the cool Satchurator setting you stumbled upon, with your GSP 2101? I haven't heard too many clips of it mixed in with other gear...
elpp - I usually sing while driving, but I made a conscious effort this time to avoid it (of course I slipped up on a few songs).

It was really weird, because that meant I went hours and hours without talking at all...and then I'd get to a motel and it felt weird to be talking. It's almost like I had forgotten how...

cheese101 - You always find the good Satch videos on YouTube. That Mike Manning interview was neat...and it was nice to see Pearly again, before it was stolen. Argh...
hybes - Ah, it would've been cool to drive up to San Francisco to see Joe (and Sammy, as it turned out) with Tom Morello. Had I seen that note before I left on my trip, I very well may have blown it all off and gone to SF instead. ;-)
Ozzy_Fudd - I'm still several days behind on posts, but did you decide on a Sammy Hagar album to buy yet? If not, let me know...I can give you plenty of suggestions. I assume you've heard his stuff with Van Halen...do you know anything else?
Well, it's down to 11 pages now...I'll be back at it after I get some sleep. I hope to have some photos of my trip organized soon, too, to share with everyone...

...Austin...

So, what are your thoughts regarding today's news on GM and specially Chrysler?? It now looks much worse for them and the people and businesses that work for or with them.

Austin, I would go crazy if I drove by myself for more than an hour without singing. I can't imagine why would u intentionally avoid it. Unless u weren't alone while driving... aja!! so now the plot thickens... :)

DoTheStu: You enjoyed the trip then?
Well, if Lewis couldn't win at least another Brit did, am I the only one being amazed by Brawn GP? They've only been around for a month or two and they absolutely dominated that GP...Hats off to Lewis as well getting up to 3rd in that car. Certainly looks to be an interesting season.

Hey I just realized, there's a typo in the release date info for the Chickenfoot album. June 7th is a Sunday, their website has it listed as Tuesday June 7th. Is this really June 9th then?? WEBMASTER or JOE, can u clarify that please? Thanks!

elpp- Unfortunate happenings in the world economy. You know it's strange how segments of the population never see things like this coming until it hits home. I know most of you don't understand and I wont expect you to, but the American farmer has been in a recession for 5 years and hopefully now we are starting to climb out if fuel prices will stay low. "But just look at all those new tractors they have" Trust me I had rather spend my $ on a killer home studio :-) Maybe things will turn around for us all. I myself am giving support to the current administration to correct this thing. I mean let's face it, If they cannot begin to fix things then the entire world is in trouble,..seriously folks, pray for America whether you agree with current policies or not. Stand together and push for a solution. Let's not forget how we got here and try not to make the same mistakes again.

Skippy Thanks for the links. Rarely it will freeze up enough to drive a vehicle on an ice covered field, now that is fun, 40-50 kph spin in a pickup truck.

Austin- What method would be best for interfacing directly with my computer and which program do I need? I have never done this but would like to. Maybe webcam audio would be clear enough although I have never experimented with one,...Not really a computer guru but would like to be,..just has not been on the priority list. My 2101 is full midi, I am guessing I can buy a midi/USB cable.?.?.? That's why I was asking in earlier posts about PRO TOOLS. I am interested in expanding my knowledge and experimentation. Heck I don't even know how to set up a MY SPACE page..:-) Not that I can't learn, I just haven't made time.Any suggestions from any T2Jers are welcome.

Randall- interesting music. I had to listen a few times but I think I like Wolves love best,...My little bro was always into the underground make it on your own kinda thing even though his dad is famous and is respected by everyone from Clapton to the Stones and could break him in to the biz, he just does not adhere to commercialism.?.? He is very talented though and is similar to you guys in taste.

This morning I was finally able to listen to "If I Could Fly" without thinking about the controversy of a few months ago. The song has such a beautiful Spring-time feel to it.
