The first annual "Millenium - technology prize" was awarded today to British Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the world wide web. Tarja Halonen, (female) president of Finland handed over the reward of 1 million euros to this relatively young professor.

...Let's all give a big hand to this guy...after all, he made T2J possible.

Good night everybody, enjoy your...ummm...life. I'm gonna lay me down beside my wonderful wife.

Edit:YoungBernie: rock on dude! ...what an enthusiasm

I have been reading reviews of the 2 G3's that took place in Europe, and man, Robert Fripp is getting really bad reviews. I feel sorry for him. Does not deserve such harsh reviews.

The Forgotten (Part 2) and Speed Of Light for G3!

Delfino, I personally would say get an S-series over an RG, unless it's an RG-7. I only say that cuz the S's are kinda different, and they seem to be capable of everything an RG is - they're just made of mahogany and they're more comfortable. I still reckon those Ergo's rock tho! hehe

on Project Gotham.....i'm in the GT's now, nearly done. I didn't unlock the Feroce yet. It's in the specials garage.....how do you unlock those cars? is it at the end of the game, or is it in the Arcade tournaments?

Clarky/mari, guys, do you know when you're meeting up?

mari, i'm having a nightmare of a time trying to organise getting to London. It seems that my mate who I was going to stay with is cool with me staying, only he's not going to be there, so all the ideas we've come up with so far are going 'tits up', so to speak. I'm really annoyed that everyting happens to be coinciding at the same time. My suggestion would be this - if Clarky is interested in seeing the Beck show on thursday, give him the ticket, cause I really don't know if I can stay anywhere in London.

If that does happen, I can still come up for a day-trip on the train or coach, cause it's be cool to meet with you anyway. I haven't been to London for a while.....it'd be nice! I hope you get this message soon. I'll mail it to you as well.

Clarky, hope you read that too.....let me know if you have any thoughts on the matter! laters peeps!

cuthbert, there's nothing shaky about evolution! it's fact....you can see it happen. Things evolve, it's plain to see in the DNA sequences.
Brother Al, yeah I'm going to the Royal Albert on the 29th
Ovation1, thanks for the drive-by! messages for Joe and Steve have been noted! hehe. Yeah Audi have picked up LeMans where Porsche left off! they've got quite a way to go before they equal Porsche's record tho! Still, your aunt did the right thing in buying Audi - they are really very, very good cars. I want one......I can dream!!
Stacia 7, favourite guitar? it's gonna be an Ibanez Andy Timmons model, an Ernie Ball/Music-Man Luke Model, or a Washburn Nuno model. I think it comes down to one of the first 2 for their versatility, and possibly down to the EB/MM Luke for it's amazing piezo pickup!
michelle, haha, you f*in rock! If I were a kid playing online PS-2 games and people were hearing my mum playing drums in the background, i'd be proud! You are fun as shit! haha, I love that term!
Yoda, congrats on the date! with a girl as well! even better! hehe
Ollyno1, hehe, cheers dude. yeah it definitely adds to the excitement. by the way, DW is a cool guy ain't he? I mailed him a few years ago and he was really cool with his response!
Zenfish, 962 __ "I except them with the same allowance!". No comment. .....if you have no comment, then why did you post that? seems like it was kinda pointless to me!!
24 Fret mayhem, glad to see you back here dude. Take it easy, and keep us posted as to what you're up to!

962 I'm not sure if Mari will be able to see your message before she comes to London, but I'll do my best to forward it. Perhaps she'll have the time to check her mail tomorrow, at the hotel or my house. The show in Gothenburg should be right in the jamming part right now, I hope she's having fun! I can't believe Joe and Steve are actually gonna be in MY town tomorrow, that's crazy... and I'm gonna meet them afterwards, that's even more crazy!

962 - You were the one who asked us for questions that you would try to ask Joe, right? Here's one for you...

On a radio interview (Rockline, I think) from a few months ago, Joe said that he changed the title of Gnaahh in the studio because he thought it would be a bad idea for the first song on the album to have an unpronounceable title. However, he ended up changing the title back to Gnaahh before the album's release.

Ask him what Gnaahh's "in-studio" title was...

Artanis I - "you shouldn't have said that, because you know full well Michelle will try that one..."

That's exactly why I said it! ;-)

jelly man - "The protestant and catholic and whole church thing is pretty meaningless really (in terms of how they started) - it's how they are now that counts"

I completely agree... I only got into the history of it to answer DelfinoPie's question.

Congrats on the 92, by the way... :-)

Mr Nick - "when i saw the first book of the first term...i thought..i'm on the wrong course..i said to them that, tried to get on the higher one but didn't."

They're probably keeping you there for a reason. Maybe you know 80% of the lower-course material, but the other 20% is the foundation for the higher course. If you stick with it, I bet you'll enjoy things once you get to the higher course.

Marky Boy - Okay, cool...thanks for the info. :-)

How long was Joe's set? He played 11 songs... He normally plays for about 45 minutes, but this looks like it's closer to an hour.

He's only playing for an hour on the Deep Purple tour this summer... Basically, I hope this G3 set was shorter than an hour because I know Joe will add Summer Song to his set when he tours the US this summer... I don't want him to drop War to add Summer Song... ;-)

Rob Mance - I'm sure Joe will play a few songs from ITLIS? on the tour with Deep Purple this summer... He'll also do a full "An Evening With..." tour after that tour...you can expect to hear more of ITLIS? then...
Eugeny - Joe has said in interviews that yes, he does.
mowlie 2000 - "why is it essencial to go to church every week??? Shouldnt being (for example) christian be about living a christian lifestyle?"

Why do guitar players join bands? Why is it essential to rehearse every week? Shouldn't guitarists just worry about playing music? Isn't it enough to just love music and practice it 24/7 in a room by yourself?

You're right, it's more about the life you lead than whether or not you spend an hour or two in a certain building every Sunday. That said, if you're a Christian you should probably want to go to church to learn more and to spend time with other Christians...

Well, I have about 50 more posts to read, but I'm hungry. It's pizza time...I'll be back later.

...Austin...

Hi Joe (Hope you can pesuade Eddie Van Halen; Brian May or Jeff Beck to join your next G3 Tour Instead of Robert Fripp)

I must say your Copenhagen show was brilliant! It was the first time I had the honour to see Steve in a live gig. It was great what a gifted player he is! I must disagree with some of the reviews that Joe should do more stuff with Robert he was not good at all! He just didn't really interact with the audience. He was just sitting in his chair in one corner of the stage making weird sounds! I was a bit disappointed that you didn't have the same lineup as you had for the american leg of the G3 tour! I really would have prefered Yngwe Malmsten he is a great guitar player and he really is an underrated guitarist! I still thougt the show was great and I really think Steve was exceptional! I enjoyed your show as well Joe! You are always good because of your melodic tunes and your great enthusiasm! I hope you will be able to convince Eddie Van Halen, Brian May or Jeff Beck to join you on your next G3 tour! Keep rockin Joe we love you and please bring Steve again for your next G3 tour he is great! Kind Regards Jesper Hartnack

10 days till G3 Birmingham WHOOOOO!

I'm curious about Fripp now, because I still haven't heard any of his stuff and Jazzy said he got a bad review...and then the dude who posted before me made his opinion on Fripp brutally clear...anywayz if anyone can recommend some cd's with Fripp on them, would be much appreciated...

also give me your opinions on him if you have heard him :-)
