PhryDom - I know ATL bt Cabbagetown?? I stood in the rain for 2 days and watch Lou reed, Tom Petty, The Killers, Interpol, Miachael Tolcher, Keane, Joan Jett. Actually Tom Petty and Tolcher were pretty good. Wasn't really my scene this year, but its always fun.
Cuthbert - 2 buckhead malls now - Lenox and Phipps - need lotsacash for the latter.
Mikesb\Mari - got the pic of us from BBs yet?
SteveeT\Clarky - CD out in a few weeks. I have a couple of things to do with it first. You will be able to get it on cdbaby or from Roy's site. Site is better because I don't have to pay seller fees that way. Of course, those contributing will get one for free.

Joe,
According to this interview, it seems Reb Beach would really like to do a G3 tour.
http://rebbeach.com/history_faq_2005_interview.htm
What are the chances of that? Me being familiar with Reb and his work, I think he'd be perfect for it.

OH NO . . .
Say this isn't true . . .
Destiny's Child Announces Split to MTV
NEW YORK - Staying together was not part of Destiny's Child's destiny — the multiplatinum group is splitting up.
In a statement released to MTV News, the trio of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams announced plans to disband after their world tour ends in the fall.
"We have been working together as Destiny's Child since we were 9, and touring together since we were 14. After a lot of discussion and some deep soul-searching, we realized that our current tour has given us the opportunity to leave Destiny's Child on a high note, united in our friendship and filled with an overwhelming gratitude for our music, our fans, and each other," the statement said.
The group was unavailable for comment Monday, but a representative said another statement would be released later in the day.
The breakup of the girl group, which first debuted as a teenage R&B foursome in 1997, isn't much of a shocker. Many critics didn't expect the group to exist at all after the multiplatinum solo debut of Beyonce in 2003. Her album, "Dangerously In Love," won five Grammys and solidified her as a one-name superstar apart from the group.
And the title of Destiny's Child's latest album — "Destiny Fulfilled" — appeared to signal the end was near.
In an interview with The Associated Press in November, the women were noncommittal when asked about their future.
"I think as far as Destiny's Child, our main focus is for us to maintain our friendship. And if in three years, five years, 10 years, whenever we decide we wanna do another Destiny's Child record, then we will do it," Beyonce said. "But I think our main goal was to do this next record, and I think we just wanna eventually have kids that play together."
Beyonce and Rowland have been members of the group since it was formed in their hometown of Houston. They scored instant success with their debut, thanks to the hit "No No No (Part I)." Back then, the founding members also included LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson.
But after the release of their second album, 1999's "The Writing's On The Wall," Luckett and Roberson were booted from the group. (The duo later sued the group and Beyonce's manager-father, Matthew Knowles, and reached a settlement.)
Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin replaced Roberson and Luckett the same year, but Franklin was later dropped, making the group a trio.
Among the group's biggest hits have been "Bootylicious," "Survivor" and "Independent Women (Part I)." All of their albums have sold at least 1 million copies; their latest has sold more than 2 million.
Besides Beyonce, Rowland and Williams have released solo albums — with less fanfare.
Despite the impending breakup, the women pledged to remain close friends.
"After all these wonderful years working together, we realized that now is the time to pursue our personal goals and solo efforts in earnest," the statement said. "No matter what happens, we will always love each other as friends and sisters and will always support each other as artists. We want to thank all of our fans for their incredible love and support and hope to see you all again as we continue fulfilling our destinies."

alexandrecaetano...great to see ya...do you have a link to your DVD?
michelle...me have linky...lol!
Keniko...to answer your question "whatcha workin' on in your studio"...I've been focusing on increasing dexterity, speed, accuracy, palatte of note selection & most importantly feeling...my tone is becoming more identifyingly min, which is hard to do, and be accepted by many. Got lotsa tunes for 2 more albums worth of what I thought my 1st CD would be...so the next offerings will be much harder edged than the mellow "Eclectivity"...thanks for asking....and yourself?

Bad Horse: I dont think my tone is too unique yet, i think though that my style is unique, like someone could tell between my solos and another guys. I just need the money to buy tools to create and engineer a unique tone!I think i would always be fiddling around with my sound to achieve the perfect tone, but would then make it better. Finding a tone that suits my playing i think would take quite a while!

Thanks to Michelle and Tracie for the b'day wishes......don't feel any different physically than I did when I was 18.
Went to see COC in Norfolk last night.......oh my God what a show. That band is on fire!
The 3 hour delay at the Hampton tunnel afterwards was a royal PITA, though. A 5 hr drive home took 8 hrs. Ugh.

Stevee T..... That's great news about your tunes. I thought your cd sampler sounded great. I like the songs a lot. The mix was very very good. When will this CD be complete? I would like to hear the edgier Stevee T that's in the works. For me.....
well I'm happy to report I'm audtioning two drummers and two bassists soon. I've been looking since March of "04". I'm jonesin' real bad. I WANT TO PLAY. I'm also going to finsh up that song I had for the T2J cd and enter it in a local compilation disc contest. Will see how that goes. Cindy's out for the Summer. Today was her first school day off. She's excited. A well deserved break and I'm happy for her.

michelle:I never knew where my first guitar came from.....but i figured y might like this straight from my moms mouth
It would appear that if I write to much, it doesn't like it!So i won't make paragraghs and see if that will keep everything in a smaller space. I read your interview Roy, Enjoyed! but your first guitar, funny as it came over did NOT come out of a bag of Frosties, we were hard up but not THAT hard up. Your Dad bought it second hand from a bloke in Kirkcudbright who needed some money for Christmas to buy his wee boy something. Dad brought it home, I took one look at it and thought, "It's a wreck" However, Dad worked at it, lovingly rubbed it all down and revarnished it and of course wrote your name on it. You were only four and a half at the time. Little did we know how much you would love your guitar in years to come. That particular one may be worth money some day, who knows!I.By the way, you brought a wee tear to my eye when you said I had probably given you your first music lesson but I believe you got it in my womb, I was so happy to be having you and sang all the time.
Love and God Bless to you both,
The Old Battleaxe!
