help....

I need the name of a show I used to watch way back. It was a bunch of punk british guys all living in one crusty house, and I think one of the guys names was Adrienn or something. It was a comedy type show. Wait - it just came to me...I think it was The Young Ones....... Lemme Google that...

HA! Yep, that's it! Gotta see if they have that on DVD. Good stuff. lol! ha! It wasn't Adrienn, it was Vyvyan. lmao! So close, and yet so far.

And the complete set is on DVD :)

You may now return to your regularly scheduled program...

Satriella, yeah about half of the Venus Isle album is vocal....there's some beautiful songs on there. You have to get it just to hear "Lonely In The Night", it's my favourite song ever, 'cause the lyrics and singing are great, and the solo is the pinnacle of perfection!

So you have Awake huh? I'll send you "Scenes From A Memory" if you're interested. That's got more to it than "A Change Of Seasons".

I'm sorry, but I definitely don't think that song is a Steve Vai song. Where did it come from? Was it a download? Downloads often get misnamed and often have the wrong artist credited with doing it, so i don't know who to suggest, without hearing it. Any idea where it came from?

Guitarmeister, no problem dude!

Thanks for the reminder!

Mari, yep, I saw your message. Thanks. Glad John is doing well. He's missed here on the board. JBLAZE for guitar guard!!

Ken, I have no spare blue ribbons. You'll have to get a post-it note, color it blue, and wear that :) That's what McGyver would do.

cuthbert1776 Is that how many he had at the show you were at?! There's not way he'll be able to fit all of them on the stage at the place I'm seeing him, unless he's going to take up most of the stage. I'm thinking he's going to have 3-5 full stacks set up, it'll be loud, but nowhere as loud as about 8 full stacks, that's more power than you really need.

Hi All,

Zenfish - So Sorry - my lips are now sealed! I'm enthusiastic about many things sorry!

Guitarmeister & 962 - I'm gettin confused who I asked now so I'll tell you both......guess what... it turns out apparently that Platypus the song by Platopus the band is the drummer and guitarist from Dream Theatre hmmm - What do ya reckon?....we got the song through a friend of a friend of a friend of a ....so its hard to trace. but noooooo why do teenagers know EVERYTHING!!!.

I will probably get the 1st Liquid Tension Experiment CD or suspended animation first as they are instrumental, (I may well get Venus Isle later) I have to be sure I'm gonna like something to get it, not much money to throw around and I was a typical girly this month and spent the spare cash on a new (that's a first I usually have to get everything from the charity shop!!) jumper for me and my gal. Oh well.

962 - Its so kind of you to say you will send it too me, I'm happy with all the advise you give, I don't want to be a scrounger!

Death cube K - Keeping schtumm about the name eh, a well guarded secret eh? ha ha Thanks so much for the offer, it's very kind of you but I have no MP3 player.

js1200js1000 - Boohoo I wish I could help you with Chromeboy...I could send you a nice shiny pocket mirror if you like...don't think you'll get much shredding out of it though. HEHE BOOHOO EH!!!!!!!!!

Michelle - I've all the Young Ones series that we taped off the telly, was mega funny at the time, but my kids watched them recently and they are surpisingly dated now. Oh well, thats the trouble with time.

Still waiting for weird experiences re: my last post

Hugs Satriella xx

Satriella, how old are your kids. My daughter is going to be 17 in 2 weeks, and my son is 14. They seem to like the 80's stuff, so maybe it'll be a hit? lol! As for LTE & Petrucci's new cd - listen to the clips first. JP's cd is very good! I haven't heard a bad review yet. Even Joe recommended it in the chat a while back. I have the first LTE, and it's great. My son took off with that cd. lol! You can hear clips of it at www.cduniverse.com.

Time to get the music crankin' and get the floor mopped. Hmmm, good floor mopping music?? Lemme think....

Eric Clapton ~ Me and Mr Johnson

cuz moppin the floor gives me the blues! lol!

Hi everyone, hope you're fine. I had a discussion with a friend over subliminal messages and the evil powers of rock N'roll, and he asked if I ever heard of band using the same thing for the glory of the lord... I had no clue, has anyone ever heard of this?
