Thoroughly Golden Millie - Steve's are funny creatures, they might as well be from different planets because half the time our brain appears to have been transported elsewhere! At least mine does!

What you need to do is get him a nice beer. If he doesn't come out for that he is not worthy of the name Steve and you should have him shot.

I love beer.

Hey, Joe :)

How are you?

My English isn't very good, because I'm from the Netherlands.;)

I have made this song.. And I wonder if you could give some comments / tips to it( rate it). :)

This is the link: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=F5msl5XmYfs

Btw, I have seen your concert in Paradiso, Amsterdam. It was just great. You really inspire me.:)

I hope you will take the time to listen to it:P

Yours faithfully,

Hello. I've never posted anything before. I just wanted to say I am so looking forward to your show in Durham, NC this Saturday evening. I've been wanting to see one of your shows for so many years now but have never been able to make it work. My fiance who is the greatest suprised me with tickets. I know you've got a ton of messages to go through so can I'll get to the point.

Would you be able to work in a couple of Satch masterpieces like Hordes of Locust - you just tore it up on the Dreaming #11 disc, and maybe Driving at Night & Engines of Creation? I'm just grateful to be going to the show. I know its short notice and you probably have a set list but I just wanted to pass it on. Thanks very much!

Hello everyone,

Hope everybody is doing well. Busy as usual for me. Working, running, errands, etc. My 10K (6.2 Mile) Run is coming up Sunday (10/26).

michelle & roo: Now I know about Chickenfoot. What a baaddaassss/wicked group that will be.

Out of the Setlist: Glad to hear that things are going well over there. I have been busy with both of my hotel jobs. At least I know have a break to relax and get caught up on some things, including some Chirstmas shopping. What have you been up to these days.

js1200js1000: How are you doing up there in Canada? Any more news about them codes? Is the weather cold up there? It is getting chilly down here in Indiana. I would like to visit Canada some day. My family said we did go up to Canada once (when I was 5), but I do not remember going up there. They said I did and I said I didn't. Anyway, think it will be cool to visit up there.

ZuperDave: Wow man!!! So you are selling it. I am tempted on putting a bid on it, but I have not decided yet (I want to place a bid to help you out, as well as use the CD for a Christmas gift for my best friend). How are things with you and the family? Prayers to you all. I think it is awesome that you did a lot of carpentry. I do hospitality work for two different hotels (three years and counting).

Well, I better stop for now. I gotta get home and get some things done around my apartment. Later ya'll and keep in touch. SAVE CHICKENFOOT!!! Glitz Man saying "I gotta run!!!"

SAVE CHICKENFOOT

Please sign below to save the name "Chickenfoot".

We realize that other names may have more appeal, but who wants a corny supergroup name? We the undersigned respectfully request that in the name of good taste and awesome music, the name "Chickenfoot" remain the official name of the new awesome supergroup.

Regards, Everyone...

It's blowing a hoolie (?) here tonight....

Here's some more dumb videos I received, made me laugh:

Romantic Dinner

Chocolate Bar

Hospital

Plane Ride

Concert

Out of the Setlist - it'll work out if the contract renewal is a defninite and not someone trying to be bigger than they are. If it doesn't happen I probably have to let my head rule my heart (a quick trip to the US with no renewal probably wouldn't be the wisest). Besides, what if "Chickenfoot" only does a US tour : )

I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway, but can't imagine theres any decent seats left by now. I'm leaving it to fate for the mo

Blue Moon - so how many Joe show's are you taking in whilst on hols? Sounds like it's going to be a non stop music fest (cool!)

Cheese - no doubt Joe is worth it, I just have to be a little careful. Just hanging out to hear officially that I'm renewed and then it's booked. What's the weather like this time of year in Cali? Cool warm up vid!

Michelle - thanks for the email, C O O E L L !

Igenousiceman - hopefully Lewis will have his sensible head on, rather than a nervous/tight one. Just realised I should go to Brazil for this last race, then hop up North for the Joe gigs. Ha ha, I'd get shot for that. Velodrome action should be cool, you'll just have to hit record

G'nite all

Dear Joe, I am a big fan and for years have wanted to see you in concert, but never was able to synchronize my location with one of your tours. I am an active duty Army officer and recently got back from overseas. Finally I will be able to attend one of your concerts here in Miami 30 October 08, and will bring my three kids that also enjoy your music. One petition if possible, my older son who is learning guitar loves your song "Times"; can you play it during your concern? See you soon and God Speed.

symphonyofnames : I WAS going to Durham on Saturday, but my travel buddy canceled out on me. :( So, though I have the money for a ticket and maybe $10 for gas money, I have no way of getting either to Durham on Sat or Atlanta on Sun. ~__~. Wish I could though; I've not gotten to attend a live Satriani concert before. ... Oh well, maybe next time.

bezio75 : WOAH! Ya know, I heard a bit of that Coldplay song the other day and recall thinking "oo, that's really nice". I can't believe I missed the connection!

JS_JS - I'm not really an Iced Earth fan, but it sounds like you enjoy their music a lot so it's cool to hear you had a good time at the gig (despite the sound). Hopefully next month's show is a bit better...

Tostado - Yeah...I really wish Satch would do a project like that. Steven Wilson is always branching out and trying new things.

So what are some of your favorite SW-related songs? Are you primarily a Porcupine Tree fan, or are you into some of his other solo things too?

tikimon - A post count is just a number...some of ours are so high because we've been here for YEARS. Stick around for a while and you'll get up there too. But quality is always better than quantity...
Kdog2175 - Welcome to the site! Unfortunately, none of the songs you mentioned are currently on Satch's setlist. But I like your taste in music...most of those songs are among my favorites. :-)

Enjoy the show...!

Glitz Man - Ah, a break sounds nice. I have a vacation planned for next month, but I'm working pretty much all the time until then. I have a few gripes about my job that are really bugging me...but the way the economy has been lately I'm lucky to be employed, so I shouldnt complain.

I unfortunately haven't been up to much outside of work. My social life has been rather pathetic lately...I need to change that. ;-)

michelle - Awesome...thanks for finding that video!
hybes - You've been quiet lately...what are you up to? Working on getting those harmonics perfect, maybe? ;-)
Listening to: Collective Soul - Collective Soul (current song: December)

"still got the blues" is still one of my all time favs. have you listened to jonny lang much? when thet guy was 16 years old he sounded more like a 50year old player and singer. i have been lucky enough to see some blues greats. i have seen muddy waters, albert collins, albert king, freddy king, BB king, svr. i love the blues. its really where my heart is.

out of the setlist. just playing with the post count. i know some of you guys have been around the forum for a LONG LONG time.

Gary Moore is always a good listen.

Check out Rory Gallagher. GM loved him and was heavily influenced by his approach to the 6 string.

Who is John5? What kind of sheltered existence/rock have I been under not to know this group?

Seein' Joe tonight. Will hop on as soon as I can afterwards and give you a recount of the show. Can't wait. Taking the whole family. Son (18) has been playin' for about a year now and Randy Rhodes and Joe were two of his early fav's. Tonight is a dream come true for him and me.

See ya tonight, Joe!
