bluebuffalo: I don't blame you for getting out of this place. I'm originally from Ohio, but work has moved me here. Every day I'm amazed that the wind hasn't blown this place off the face of the earth. I'll probably be looking to relocate in a few months, but may go no further than Boise. Amazing how much difference a 40 minute drive can make!

Although Oregon is beautiful to say the least. My fiancee has family spread around the Salem/Keizer area. We usually try to get up there at least once a year, then top it off with a day or two as tourists in Lincoln City.

I tired to stay awake to track that Halifax radio broadcast but failed miserably! They had the guys on for an interview before the set if nothing else.

Chad was suggesting how anything could happen... when he put forward the idea of throwing the drum kit around there was an immediate no from Sammy or Mike. Joe was backstage practicing....

Anyway, here's one from the set, introducing 'Crazy Drummer Girl'...... Soap on A Rope ... and here's Chad ignoring the plea about the drum kit (at the end) - Highway Star

Do The Stu - didn't realise Santa Cruz was the main locatoin for Lost Boys. Cool movie, not so keen on the 2nd one...

That's a mighty cool bass. Look forward to your response & video/email etc. It is a cool shirt isn't it - thanks Brian!

Blue Moon - CF gig in europe... ha ha. Or do you know something we don't?

Cosmic Ape - sounds like a cool career path. Hope it all goes according to plan for you.

Cappy - sorry to hear that, try and stay strong for those around you (I know it's easier said..)

Cheese101 - I think I got mixed up in what I was reading as yes, the webcast was definitely Anaheim. I got confused, but I is under the weather so it's easily done. Were you at the Webcast gig then????????? LOL

Satriella - good luck!

Igneousiceman - another holiday... along with the bike... money bags ;-b Have a great time

Mikesb - thanks for the Edward Box post. That's very different from the stuff I have of his (Sandy put me onto it), but I like it!

Right, I'm going back to my headache

Who cares?

Joe, I noticed that Seattle is not listed on the tour. C'mon. After 800 plus of us squeezed into the hell hole (El Corazon) your management booked in Seattle in May, you guys owe us a show in a decent venue. I have bought three copies of the excellent CD to give to my son and another friend. Could not be more pleased with the music. I would like a chance to bring my son and friends to see Chickenfoot in Seattle after bragging you guys up.

Do you think if Obama's closest were to be struck down with this filthy disease they'd soon find a cure? Or maybe there's just way too much money to be made in weapons and warfare!?!?!?

fatape, think before you speak maybe??

Obama's grandmother dies after battle with cancer

It hits everyone - no matter who they are. All the money and power in the world can't stop death if it has yer name on it. Are you that naive to actually think that??

Is he really just supposed to snap his fingers and BAM, there's a cure for all cancers?

wow!

I dunno, maybe I misunderstand what yer saying???

Red Hot Chili Peppers End Break After Two Years

The lengthy Red Hot Chili Peppers hiatus is over - the band has announced it will reconvene in October.

Drummer Chad Smith, who used his downtime to form supergroup Chickenfoot with Sammy Hagar, insists he and his bandmates plan to “jam” together for the first time in two years this autumn, ending reports of a split.

Smith tells Billboard.com:

“Everybody was like, ‘Y’know, I really like having this time off, not being a Chili Pepper and doing other things… It’ll be two years in September, so now we’re ready.

“You can’t force people to play when they don’t want to play or aren’t ready to play or whatever - not in our band, anyway.”

Conch - I think ole Chunky Monkey was posting metaphorically. I'll hold my hand up in shame and admit that I didn't think too much about cancer until in recent times when it has done for a shit load of my friends and family. The point is, when you think of the amount of money and resources spent on killing peeps rather than feeding and curing them, well it's an absolute fucking disgrace. Methinks Chunks was just picking the most obvious major leader. I could be entirely wrong though, annyhoo pass me a beer!

Capy, here's yer beer. There is so much in life that is unfair. Massacres (animals and humans) are happening all over the globe, and the public is more interested in what that little bitch Perez Hilton has to say. I got a sore spot when it comes to the subjects of cancer and Obama. G.W. made such a feckin mess of things, and peeps demand that Obama must fix it ALL a.s.a.p. Health care is a sham. My pop wasn't old enough for medicare, and has his own business, so he had no ins. when he got sick (the main reason it went to stage 4 cancer). When he finally got some through welfare, they would boot him off as soon as whatever document they were supposed to get didn't show up. He'd show up for chemo or a test, and they'd tell him he was dropped. They'd have to call again and again to get it fixed to continue his treatment. Cancer took Obama's g-ma, so he's gonna do whatever he can to help, as opposed to that c**t G.W. who didn't seem to worry about anything but war. Jayzus, don't get me started on that. How bout I just go get a nice cold shot of Jager, and clink my little glass to yer beer. Cheers! Now, if we could get Al to make a couple samishes...
