SteveeT......That's almost exactly what happened to me. I was a diehard SRV fan when he left us... I just kind of lost hope for a while...and listeniing to Joe again brought me back to my senses.

By the way....really cool tunes at your site, but it almost sounds like you're holding back.....let it rip Bro' !!

Lisa Marie Presley Selling Elvis Estate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Lisa Marie Presley (news) is keeping Graceland but selling the bulk of the Elvis estate, including rights to her father's name and image, in a deal worth approximately $100 million.

Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc. announced an agreement Thursday to sell 85 percent of its assets to businessman Robert F.X. Sillerman, founder of music and sports promoter SFX Entertainment.

The Presley estate brought in almost $45 million last year. Sillerman said more aggressive marketing, supported by capital raised through a new publicly traded company, can make Elvis an even bigger earner.

Presley occupies a unique place in American pop culture, and "I don't think there's much likelihood his influence is going to wane anytime in my lifetime," Sillerman said by telephone from New York, where he runs the Sillerman Companies.

As Presley's only child, Lisa Marie is the sole heir to the estate, most of which is now to become part of a publicly traded company that will be called CKX Inc.

The agreement will pay her $53 million in cash and absolve her of $25 million in debts owed by the estate. She also is to get shares in the new company expected to be worth more than $20 million.

Lisa Marie will retain possession of her father's home, its more than 13 acres of land and many of her father's "personal effects," an announcement on the agreement said.

"For the past few years, I've been looking for someone to join forces with to expand the many facets of (Elvis Presley Enterprises), to take it to new levels internationally and to make it an even greater force in the entertainment industry," Ms. Presley, also a singer, said in a statement.

I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCE`S TO DIMEBAG DARRELL ABBOTT`S FAMILY, FRIEND`S AND FAN`S, ALTHOUGH I`AM A BIG FAN OF JOE, I`AM ALSO A BIG FAN OF HEAVY METAL MUSIC, AND AS NO ONE ON THIS SITE TO MY KNOWLEDGE AS ACKNOWLEDEGED THE FACT THAT HE WAS ONE OF THE GREAT LEGENDARY GUITARIST`S, AND IT IS A VERY SAD LOSS TO THE HEAVY METAL MUSIC WORLD, I THOUGHT I WOULD, AND ANY MUSICIAN WORTH ANYTHING SHOULD REALLY PAY HOMAGE TO THE MAN AND HIS TALENT, SO I WOULD LIKE TO SAY R.I.P DIMEBAG DARRELL ABBOTT YOU WERE A GREAT GUITARIST AND I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.

PFields.....I was trying to create a link to a picture of myself at a recent "gig" so everyone here could finally have a face to go with the big mouth ;) Unfortunately, it also meant that everyone would also have access to personal pictures that I don't want them to see. I'll figure something out here shortly....

Peace, SD

Sometimes thing's make us develop patience, but the end results are well worth the strain!...Hang in there! and keep Playing that Piano, and Geetar!...You Rock!................962- Yes, that would be great, Buzzy would be honored! e-mail to me and I will tell Him personaly! That is way kind of You! Thank's! and keep rockin'...It seems far fetched, But My vision is to have You, and Steveet, and Paul Clark, and Alaxandre, along with Mark London(He's AWESOME!) and ZENFISH, a few others and Me, and do a tribute to Buzzy CD! I gauarntee You it will be big!..and heard all through the United states! He really is a music legend! known by everyone!..My music has been heard by some of the best in the business, Through Him! and the response has been awesome! Well, Now you know My dream! Now!...I do dream Huge! don't I?...............SteveeT- You bet! Practice and practice, and then more practice!...I try and get in about 8 hours a day, and about 4-5 at night. It is really great! pp0 - Joe has kept family stuff private over the years, which is understandable because Z.Z. is fairly young. There aren't many pictures of Rubina or Z.Z. available (although a few Z.Z. pics have shown up recently).

You can see a picture of Joe, Z.Z., and Rubina in a car on this page. The picture is more than four years old, but it's really all we have.

Zinc Master - "Very good point, they each have copied each other a lot lately (Coke / Pepsi)."

I've said this several times here, but I can't stand this copycat stuff. Pepsi seems to copy Coke more than Coke seems to copy Pepsi. And Pepsi's "Coke sucks, drink Pepsi!" advertising plan is just pathetic... Ugh...

PFields - Yeah. I think it was called "Crystal Pepsi", though.
thebigg3 - If you call the venue, they should be able to tell you whether or not the show is sold out.
SupaaDave - If you email me the picture, I can host it and share it with everyone here...

...Austin...

Yo Joe, When I heard you were coming to Melbourne Australia in March I was ecstatic. The second I had a chance I rushed out to get my ticket, but was shocked to find that only people over 18 could enter due to the availability of alcohol at the bar (being 16 I’m really pissed off). I know the chances of you reading this message are slim so over next few weeks I will be posting it frequently (please do not consider me a pest). Maybe one of your assistants could answer this message for help. (Don’t try and contact me at 123 Fake Street- not real address :-P )

Cheers - Have a great Christmas, Rob
