Guitarvibes--LOL! A great boobies man, you! I get the feeling boobies, balls and bits were meant to make us laugh! That inspired the penis and ball fountain in Amsterdam! What a comic relief!

M and T's reporting on CF concert brings mental vids of joy, some folly and mostly musical/sonic genius AND towering presence!

Skippygirl: I think it's more happiness than love, for now anyways. I like how I'm feeling right now, the future looks quite bright in many aspects, and obviously the intention is to share this happiness with the right person. If it becomes love later on, so be it. But for now, I am happy. :D

Blackmoon: Just the thought of flying over the sea sends chills down my spine. I will make it over to Europe someday, but I will definitely have to be drunk or sedated!!jajaja So are they recording a CD of just original songs, no covers?

Cappy - all the best to you, I hope and pray things get better for you. I recall your wife beiing ill a while ago too.

T - great report, sounds like a blast. Thnx for the tweets they were great.

But if you were 3rd in line how did you get 3rd row? Wouldn't you be in pole position to get the 1st row? Did you get to meet Joe or any of the others? Bet Chris is beside himself with happiness.

minimoog: thanks dude, it's actually a great song to practice real slow and speed up because of how Petrucci alternate picks across the strings.. ...and i still use sheets a bit, cuz that last solo is ridiculous if you think you're going to play note for note. But you should take a look at the main riffs. Intro is great practice for alternate picking, little hard rocking bridge before soft section is awesome for rhythmic displacements, and otherwise, the rest is just great for melodic ideas. Promise you you can play it too, it's not like i picked up and played it out of nowhere, lots of practice goes into that song.

Skippy, they had to get behind all the premium people - the ones who buy the package. They get in first, then the people who've been standing all day get in. It's all about the benjamins. Personally, I hate it. Can't even buy good tickets at a seated venue if yer on the ticket site the second they go on sale. They offer you way back...to save room for the premium, gold silver and whatever packages. People say "So save yer money and you can be upfront too". Fuck that (yes, I said fuck that!) My life is in no way, shape, or form lavish enough for me to spend hundreds of dollars for 2 tickets to one show. Anyways, that's what happened, and they got third row. Bottom line is really just being AT a show. I'm very fortunate that bands come within an hour or two from my house, so I'm grateful for that, and every show I get to see, I just don't dig the "$$dealio$$" as Luini puts it.

Tracie just dropped Chris off. She still has 2 hours to drive home ahead of her. She says she feels like "an old dishrag that was used to clean the bag of moldy ass". LMAO!!! Let's send good vibes to get her and the rest of the T2Jers home!

cheese; awesome review! glad to hear you got up front, too bad about the tall peeps in front of you. i feel bad sometimes cause i'm one of those sequoias your talking about lol. the pushing and shoving are a regular occurance in Tahoe. the mrs doesn't ever want to see a show there again becuase of the crowd. some of the idiots you mentioned are probably peeps we know of but don't want to know!

safe trips home to all who traveled to the show.

Tahoe sounds awesome! Cannot wait till Berkeley and universal. This is one band I HAVE to see live, so glad were making the 15 hour flight over there.

Kids are soo excited to be going to Disney, universal and legoland. Wish I could have done that as a kid. They are sooo spoilt. :)

Soo you ChickenCA people in just over 2 weeks!! Woohoo!

Good to know that Tahoe went great and people are making it home safely. Sounds the guys put on another energy packed show .... My hubby and I went to the local watering hole and had a few drinks and dance. They had a one man band who played the oldies. I kept thinking damn... I wish I was watching ChickenFoot instead. But then I shook it off and had a good time. The gentleman that was singing actually had an incredible voice but the music was mostly from the fifties, and early sixties.

ELPP- glad you enjoyed that clip. I had never seen anything quite like that . I found it very moving.

Cappy Steve- I wish I could find some encouragement to send your way..Hope the load lifts from your shoulders. My hubby always tells me things are going to be okay too (even though I know he does not know how things are going to turn out) Its hard sometimes, I am sure.

M - aha now I see...Premium tickets would be nice but yes hard to sustain for lots of shows. Lord, what I'd give just have ONE freakin' show!!

So 3rd row sounds pretty good if there were peeps already there ahead of them.

T - hope you got home safely, Tsafely.

Al - how's the head?

Don- thanks for the excellent words of advice.

I went to Citifield, the new NY Mets Stadium yesterday and though not a big fan had a great time....especially when they played the whole song Crowd Chant....they must play it every game because ive been hearing it at Televised sporting events for years...whats great is any country can play it because of its musical language...it was a real treat to hear it such an amazing place, being the fan i am. CC@Citifield

Its pretty cool how technology is so fast now...when chickenfoot is playing..theres an echo of information and video that flows out of each show for a couple of days...thats f'n cool

Tracie: Great review, but this time Michelle has won review of the year..better luck next time!!! jejeje just kidding. I'll admit I do a lot of crowd bouncing, but I do it at metal shows only, a CF show would be out of the question. It's a great way to make it to front row, that and taking advantage of mosh pits, if u place yourself properly you can move up 6-7 rows while the pit is on, then it's a matter of finding the people that look most tired and just wait for them to leave. Use that tip next time you see a mosh pit :)

Michelle: I agree 1000% with you on the premium seats crap. It's a shameless money grab, and the artists should put a stop to it, they should realize that 50% of the time the people that pay 300 bucks for a ticket are there to be seen and they don't really care much about who's playing. I've seen premium seaters leave in the middle of shows, last year when Satch came here was no exception.

Roo: I would assume that they have a Lego store at Legoland (so obvious, yet I don't recall seeing one in their list of USA stores), but if they don't I highly recommend u stop at the store outside of Disneyland. Lego stores are the coolest! Also, in Universal City there's an Italian restaurant called Bucca, very very tasty food if u're into Italian.

Hey, everyone...just thought I'd post a quick note to say I made it back to Long Beach safely. I took a ton of pictures that I'll have online shortly, and I'll post some show thoughts soon too (although it looks like Tracie and michelle covered most of it...haha).

And I owe emails to roo and Al Surfer...I'll get to that after I get some sleep.

Elpp : It's great to watch the sea from a plane..... Try it ... They are recording their own songs, about 8 or 9. they have more but they won't record them all in this cd. I wrote the lyrics in five of them and some others are instumental. I believe it is a great job. You will see. As soon as they finish it, i will send you their "my space" and i hope you will agree.

Cheers Dazzler.

Ya just gotta laugh at life sometimes. The upstairs toilet has now leaked, flooded the shower/bathroom which in turn flooded down into the kitchen. Oh yeah, and electrics don't work too well under water. So now i've got a crucial decision, do I drink all the beer or let it go warm and thus become undrinkable.
