Joe, I met you at the Sacramento signing last night. I must say you are very humble for being the world's greatest guitarist.

Some people want to do things before they die, such as go skydiving, bungee jump, etc. Since I was a teenager, mine has been to meet Joe Satriani. So now I can die, hehe.

Hi Joe, saw you at the Warfield a couple of times when I lived in SF, a lady at work had a son who went to school with ZZ, and visited him on Spruce St. Would like to hear all the releases on SACD multichannel, SACD stereo only plays in two channels because of the discreet internal decoding on my system, Engines Of Creation would sound amazing in multichannel! Little Santilli: Calling someone "gay" or a "fagg" is something I despise, even though sometimes I am pretty foul mouthed myself. Gay people are born with that quality, there is nothing they can do about it. The same is with people of different races. Sometimes I wonder whether the homophobic people even judge people by race. Racism and Homophobia are just horrid things that only stupid and brainless people resort too (sometimes in the name of religion....idiots!)

Sorry for getting into this so deep, but its something I scorn.

SO MANY NEW MEMBERS! AWESOME!!!

Does anyone know what Joe actually did when he was over here in London last week? I saw he was doing 'press' stuff, but haven't seen/heard anything.

Oh and I just got the Yngwie Concerto DVD off ebay for £8 :-) The only shop that sells it that I can find in the UK it costs £27 as it's an import, I do like a good bargain!

If you are just getting into Joe you have a wealth of life-changing music ahead......enjoy! As for the new album, after several listens, I love it!! Love the legato runs..nearly crashed the car I was so distracted by the sheer beauty of them...flipping heck Joe....what depth as a player.....have never been able to fathom it out!! I love 'Just look up' and 'If I could fly'...Thank god for Satch and Vai!

Awesome album... Is there Love in Space? I guess we found it! Very cool stuff. Incredible ethereal and jamming. I get chills!!

Joe, I dig the lyrical quality of your guitar playing. No need for lyrics. I guess I would rather let you sing a few than deal with some front man shoved down my throat because the label pushes a hit.

Searching rocks and rips as a jam...nice Hendrixy vibe while sounding nothing like Jimi.

Bamboo is also excellent. This one paints a visual of a carribbean scene with a tropical mist washing over the listener.

If I Could Fly...wow! Close your eyes and let your body feel the the beat. Uplifting ...and another tasty jam!

Gnaahh...wicked beats ...compressed and tight jam...funked out tone and sly!

Up in Flames...balls out ...Ice pick in the macho-man's forehead! American Rock 'n' Roll with attitude.

Best album since Flying. Joe you are an inspiration...I can't wait for the tab book. I'll get a headstart andstart picking thisthing apart by ear.

YES!!!!! See you in Chi-town. D-Man

So joe, i've been listening to the new cd, and just thought i'd say that now i have more of a firm grip on it overall and it is totally solid. And some of this stuff I actually think is some of the more original stuff you've come up with in a while (like that chorus of hands in the air)... It defniitely has some vibes left over from SBM, but maybe even seems more focused as an album overall, whereas I really liked SBM but now it feels more like a collection of songs compared to ITLIS. I really like that there are a lot of real head-bobbing rock moments as well as some unique sounds slipped in here and there for a good balance. This CD is very 'you.' And as I suspected, songs grew on me that didn't intially grab me, and that is great. The title track wasn't my favorite at first but then it had such a 'turkey man' vibe going that i couldn't resist it. Anyway, there's really no need for me to go on anymore, you get the idea. Thanks.

little santilli what is your freaking problem?!?!?!?! why do you live?! you cant say that kinda crap to me. just leave and never come back to the site if you are gonna talk like that cuase not a single perosn here likes or appreaciates it. beisides, mind your own freaking buisness!!! it wasnt your conversation so stay out of it! and I'm not and gay and if I were I would tell everyone beucase I dont give a flying rat's @$$ what a lowlife someone like you would think about me.

rusty dog whats up?

Stu Clone I understand why you think that. I like Yngwies music beucase I have been listening to it since he started out. it is new to me and I like it, but he does need to have more melody and less shred. also, I am glad that you said it the way you did instead of putting me down and swearing at me like some poeple on thy site. and I didnt say that he was better than Jazzy boy, I said that he probalby was.

trutina I agree, on the Ynigwie thing ,thanks. and about my political party, I am a conservative republican but I am not righty wing i am closer to the middle than the right. and I am a christian so I would do things for other people instead of only our country like some liberals would do. but you have a point.

Jazzy boy I am repeating what I said yesterday. I'm sorry for all that crap and lets just drop it. you are a fellow Satch fan and i can tell you really like Joe and are not a poser so I have no bad blood with you.

After all these years as a huge fan, I should freakin' know better Joe. Jjust when I think it can't get any better (cuz it is the best), you top it again and again.

"Lifestyle" rocks like a muthaf-er and kicks total ass, "Souls of Distortion" blew me away...so pioneering and bold, I love it!!! And "If I could fly" will for certain snag a grammy!!! I so can't wait till you tour for this new album. Oh, and grammy for best rock instrumental album as well. Simply smokin' bro!

Thanks man, truly and sincerely!

Jazzy Boy I knocked a kids lights out because he was being a racist to all my friends be fore I moved where I live now. I hate racism and discrimination about stuff like that but I'm not so sure if I agree with the Homosexuality thing. How can you really be sure if you're actually born with it? My theory is like if you grow up in that sort of environment like if you hang out with one group of people more than another you become like the first. Am i understood?

JS_JS just forget it man if he's still holdin' on to it, I think he's just doing stuff like that to make himself fell better to win a war of words.

Ali B Thanks a lot for e-mailing but unforunately not in time. I turned it in this morning. I do appreciate you taking the time to e-mail and ask though!

IceZer can you post your site again?
