everything on earth suffers sooner or later, the concept of being vegan is a healthy one but also downright dangerous if you dont slowly edge into it.If your a workhorse and dont have a diet plan stick to the juicy yummy murdered steak imo

My name is in blue!! ...I'm not worthy...
Wouldn't you figure the one time Joe reads one of my posts it's me bitching and moaning about something Joe-related. :(. I am ashamed of myself... I'll stop bitching now.
Joe: in case you happen to read through again, just to clarify; it was the content of the DVD and the handling of the pre order process by Best Buy that I was upset about, just got off on a little tangent before. Everything you do is wonderful and I hope that I didn't offend you earlier. I'm Sorry if I did. Good luck fightin' off the bug. Hope you get a cool trial at least, if you have to do it at all.

One of a few perks of being in the military... no jury duty! Not my cups of tea.

Wow, going Vegan is a pretty big change. I've been veggie all my life, and find that ever-so-slightly-tricky sometimes...can't imagine being Vegan though, I just love cheese too much!

Hey Joe; nice to see the blue, sorry your feeling the blue though. just got over the flu and man did it suck. hope you get better soon. can't wait for the dvd, was a little dissapointed with the cd\dvd combo. how come you guys picked Phoenix and how come a whole show from one place? you might need a burger but a better idea would be some nice marinated steak tips grilled to perfection, nice and tender. yummy! i could never be a vegan lol.

js1200js1000 - Sorry dude, I never bought them. They are kept out the back of the shop, They won't put them on display. I was allowed to go out the back to see them and take a few pic's. I only wish I had the money to take them both home. Seeing the two in the one place was brilliant.
They also have a JS100, JS20S (signed by Joe), and a JS1000 in the store. It's a really cool shop. They won some award for selling Ibanez guitars and got Paul Gilbert out to do an in store appearance. $10 for about 150 people, Paul basically done a full concert with backing tracks. Played a lot of songs from "Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar" and this was just before the album was released in Australia.

WORRY

Is there a magic cutoff period when

Offspring become accountable for their own actions?

Is there a wonderful moment when parents can become detached spectators in The lives of their children and shrug, 'It's their life,' and feel nothing?

When I was in my twenties , I stood in a hospital corridor waiting for doctors to put a few Stitches in my daughter's head. I asked, 'When do you stop worrying?' The nurse said, 'When they get out of the accident stage.' My Dad just smiled faintly and said nothing.

When I was in my thirties , I sat on a little chair in a classroom and heard how one of my children talked incessantly, disrupted the class, and was headed for a career making license plates. As if to read my mind, a teacher said, 'Don't worry, they all go through this stage and then you can sit back, relax and enjoy them.' My dad just smiled faintly and said nothing.

When I was in my forties , I spent a lifetime waiting for the phone to ring, the cars to come home, the front door to open. A friend said, 'they're trying to find themselves. Don't worry, in a few years, you can stop worrying. They'll be adults.' My dad just smiled faintly and said nothing.

By the time I was 50 , I was sick & tired of being ulnerable. I was still worrying over my children, but there was a new wrinkle. There was nothing I could do about it. My Dad just smiled faintly and said nothing.

I continued to anguish over their failures, be tormented by their frustrations and absorbed in their disappointments.

My friends said that when my kids got married I could stop worrying and lead my own life.

I wanted to believe that, but I was haunted by my dad's warm smile and his occasional, 'You look pale. Are you all right? Call me the minute you get home. Are You depressed about something?'

Can it be that parents are sentenced to a lifetime of worry? Is concern for one another handed down like a torch to blaze the trail of human frailties and the fears of the unknown? Is concern a curse or is it a virtue that elevates us to the highest form of life?

One of my children became quite irritable recently, saying to me, 'Where were you? I've been calling for 3 days, and no one answered I was worried.' I smiled a warm smile.

The torch has been passed..

PASS IT ON TO OTHER WONDERFUL PARENTS

(And also to your children. That's the fun)

Zinc Master- thanx for the posts, for the humor and the truths. It is a bit funny when the kids start worrying, this last weekend my husband and I stayed out late with friends and we didn't check in with the 17 year old. We caught all kinds of h-ll from him. Role reversal ......

Slanshroom- I did not know a vegan diet could be so dangerous if not approached correctly. I could never be that disciplined , anyway. Hope Joe follows up on your advice.

Don 1963- Yes, thank you veterans past and present.
