OK, it's 1:30 am, I better get some sleep.

I also just added the guitar player feb 88 (with power cosmic), the "In The Studio" CD (great interviews) and my Engines of creation UK and Europe Tour book to the web site.

Joe Its a real shame if this Coldplay thing can't be resolved. Think of all the potential fans that could be opened up to your genius as opposed to automatically being biased against you. If only you could make this controversy benefit everyone positively

The best thing in my mind would be if you and Chris Martin could take off the gloves and sit down. Maybe you could get him / Coldplay to admit that their inspiration came from your beautiful composition.

We all know a legal battle only results in dollar-commited attorneys from both sides making out like thieves and creating more animosity. Has anyone ever met an attorney with a real commitment to artistic integrity? Their main concern is billable hours.

I know its not a macho don't-take-whats-mine approach but sometimes you get more bees w/honey After all they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Wouldn't you make more money selling music to a new fan base than whatever you get after everyone else takes their share after a lawsuit?

Brrr.... too cold.

Blue Moon - hey mate, how's yer sickness? The only thing that really helped me was rest, but I overdose on OJ and lemsip as well. Whether either of those help is another matter. Get well soon

Michelle - ha ha, yes, I'm not sure reds my colour though. I'll wear the dress to Chicken PA and you decide ; b

Cube - seriously? It takes up a third of your house. How do you choose what gear to use and what gets to sit "in the corner"? So (modded) Tube Screamer over modded DS1?

Anibur - thanks for the compliment. I try. I did another one fairly recent and found an older one so will post them shortly and inflict more pain ha ha. P.S Isn't it meant to be tid bits?

Skippygirl - my fingers took ages to get used to pushing the wire without it hurting. If I "go for it" now (which is not often) the finger tips fall apart and look highly attractive. Solution - play more often (doh). D ought to be reasonably easy but sounds like you have the right approach.

At the end of the day as good as the books are (ref strumming etc) you have to do what's right for you. Looking forward to hearing something! My fingers don't work in this weather, wish I was down under!

Rialton - it wasn't a DVD though, just something for an interview, and it really wasn't a mistake anyway. If you want mistakes he's recorded quite a few live, but I like that. It's more 'real' that way surely.... and proves he's human : )

Igneous - it's a great little ad, but I still don't get why the transformers sound effect is in there. I just wonder what the ad or sound guy thought regarding throwing it in - it's funny! Thanks (ref extremist). Do you have any vids posted (guitar, cycling or otherwise)?

Roo - that guy I emailed you about should have some good song info to share. Did you make contact with each other in the end? Regarding the two new guitars - are they the "project" guitars you mentioned a few months back?

Another comedy vid.... I likes this one

Have a good day all

Hi Joe!!!

I recently watched a video on Music Living Legends and you mentioned having a Hagstrom 3 and that you've been looking for one.

I think I may have found one; only thing it is not white but sunburst.

Hope it works out for you.....

Al: i,m on week 4 with this cold but 2 busy t give it a thought until now, its like one day ok, next yer shot, by far the worst i,ve had cold wise, made worse by flying home for christmas, the landing was well painful even the G&T plus suckin sweets made bog all diff, everyone back home has it 2.Starting t feel the end of it now tho, running bright yellow snot out o left nostril today, clear out right.....popin eardrums ahh tis wierd!

My remedy.....eat well & sleep

PS Women have an inbuilt pain threshold much higher than men, its inbuilt DNA therefor i conclude women make better warriors:O

My point is when y hear girlies talkin about MEN FLU it means they think we are takin the piss.. when in actual fact...AHEM...women are superior in pain depo! then again they have t be superior giving birth

as my ma would say...imagine squeezin a watermelon out your ass!...thx ma but i,ll just stick t geetar

roo: Is there anything actually missing from your site?! It seems, well extensive, to say the least.
Satriella: Well, I didn't enjoy it, but a mate of mine is joining the Paras later in the year...so he's, well, a bit crazee. I think it's a bit different in the 'actual' forces (and not the kiddy versions), more of a 'respectful working atmosphere' if the brochures are to be believed :)
JSPhil: Unfortunately no vids, but I'm working on it...haven't even got a chuffin' youtoob account yet. Maybe I should get a head cam for my helmet and do some mountain bike footage....hmmm, that's an idea there...

Doodles - yes, but not getting far, I think the issue is I haven't found a good way to put them on the site and have people directly contribute yet. - not actively working on it right now.

Stuff missing from my site? yes! I still have a sizeable backlog to enter (stacks of CDs and DVDs), it's a slow process.

Also, heaps of older concerts to enter. venues, tours, info about songs, etc.

And then, when I start getting on top of that, I'm going to have to add clips from every song performance to download, and chickenfoot stuff, it will be coming out by then!

Guitars? Ahh, could be... could be.... maybe... wait and see...

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well for the start of 2009. Time to get caught up with you all. Man, it's tough not to talk with all of you when you are busy with a million things.

We have been getting hit with bad winter weather here in Fort Wayne. Now that the ice storm has passed, now we have snow coming this way.

I got back into my running. I ran last Saturday for 2 hours and 15 minutes nonstop. My MP3 Player kept me going throughout the entire time, as well as Joe. I have him and Maroon 5 on my MP3 for now. My races for 2009 will be starting in about a month from now. Doing a marathon is still in question.

Work is going well at the Holiday Inn. I have been trying to talk to some businesses about our hotel to come check us out. I did get a hold of one of our Universities in Fort Wayne (IPFW) and we are having a lunch meeting this Friday afternoon.

SuperDaveMcCarthy: Thanks for the e-mail. How are you and the family doing? Did you take my advice about going on a treadmill or getting a pair of jogging shoes?

Do The Stu: How are things going with you out West man? I hope things are going well for you.

js1200js1000: Hello my Canadian friend!!! What's new up there?

michelle: Hey there. How are you and the family, especially your Dad, doing? It's cold here, but I'm trying to stay healthy. My running probably helps me out the most.

Cheese 101: Hey T-Boz!!! How are you and the folks doing out there in Oregon?

Joe Satrini: Hey man, great to hear from you. I've been busy almost everyday now. What's new over there in the UK?

Satriella: Hey there girl. Like some of those jokes you are putting on there. I-D How are things going with you?

Skippygirl: Hi there. I am back into my running. Ran for 2 hours and 15 minutes a few days back. I am trying to put it as many miles as I can when I am out running. Have you been doing any jogging lately? Playing guitar I see. Good for you.

Railton: How are things going with you? Have you done any more guitar playing? How many Satch songs can you play right now?

death cube k: How are you doing my Canadian friend?

Blue_Moon: Luck of the Irish to you Al!!! How are things going for you over there in Ireland?

Guitarman77897: How's it going man? How's school going for you? Curiousity, how many Satch songs can you play?

tikimon: How are things down there in Florida? By the way, GO FLORIDA GATORS!!! I hope they beat Oklahoma in the BCS Title Game.

Maritime: What's new with you man? I hope things are going well with you.

Igneousiceman: How are you doing there?

slashroom: How are things in Spain my Scottish friend?

fatape: Good day to you down under. What's new over there. It's cold here, so I bet it is probably a little warmer down there right now.

GoldenGirl2: Hi girl!!! How are you and your husband doing? I hope you two are doing well.

Castle49: How are things going with you?

Ibanezplyr: Hey man, are you healed up yet? How are things going with you. I've been busy as usual.

JS_JS: What's up man?

roo: What's new down under? Any more signatures for Chickenfoot? I check your site out sooner or later.

alexandre-caetano: Long time since I have chatted with you. How are things in Portugal? How are you doing so far in this new year?

TO EVERYONE: Anybody watch "Superstars of Dance"? Pretty good show on television. Eight countries battle it out to see who is the best in dance. The eight are:

1.) Argentina 2.) India 3.) Australia 4.) South Africa 5.) United States 6.) Ireland 7.) Russia 8.) China

They are all really good and I can't choose a winner. Best of luck to all eight of them.

Well, I better wrap things up. I am meeting with my running group in about a half-hour from now. Everyone (to those I chat and to those who I forgot), keep in touch with me and I hope you are all doing well. I'll chat with you all again (sooner or later). Bye for now!!

Cappy, this might be a stupid question, but in these times I really think it's a valid question... Are there firearms on the ship in case of trouble? Safe travels to you and yer crew. Me and the boys here will toast to ya every now and again till we see yer back safely. Then ya can raise them pints yerself.

GGirl, what's Balcony tv?

Glitz, we're all good. Had an ice storm here over night. It was fun getting to the car this morning, but driving wasn't bad. Snow expected overnight.

Chadley, google is yer friend. lol!

T-Bones, holla back girl!!
