I can't wait till Joe comes to Australia. I bought tickets to the Sydney gig the day they were released. I was real disappointed I missed Vai when he was out here, but Satch is coming here and I am not going to make the same mistake twice.

Does anyone know what the setlist would be like?

Clarky,

Have not checked out Rob Balducci, or Ricky Garcia yet, but when I signed up for Jemfest in Orlando this Spring I saw them on the site...seemed they were being hailed as worthy of an ear. Do they have CD's released with Favoured Nations label?

Can't wait to hear "The Beheading of John The Baptist"! Joe does not always play the most difficult sections of his music note for note when playing live....no disrespect Joe...we're all human!

I love pushing the envelope to the limit...you never know what you're goin to find....I say...let yourself believe you're invincible & let go while in the zone...that's where you'll top yourself.

If you think it's YOUR absolute peak....then this will be some fargin CD...based on what I've heard on your 3 albums on the IUMA site holy shied!!!!!!!!!

Clarky's IUMA

I think Andy Timmons has a deal with Steve, but I don't think his music is as heavy as your music, personnally, I'd like to see someone of your musical sensibilities make it on his label.

Glad to hear the wife's recovered!

Hope you don't mind me positing your site...I think your music should be heard!

Peace, Love & Happiness!

mikesb,

I really miss Roy Buchanan & his very early stuff, his "The Messiah Will Come Again" really shows such a great ability to touch someone's soul with his sorrowful Tele...I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it. He's got about 4-5 songs that really show blues in a way...I still aspire to emulate even 30 years after seeing him on his PBS special..when I said who the Fck is that?

Johnny Hilland has not touched my soul, no doubt he's got chops, but I had to force myself to listen to the end of his CD the1st time, and not returned to listen to it again! All those chops, and he can't reach my soul! Of Course...that's just my opinion, and I'm sticking to it, (it takes all kinds to make the world go round).

My 1st CD, surprisingly to me, as I was weened (yes, I said weened) on blues & RR, has no Blues & only 3 rock songs on it. My second CD, already half finished is a different animal...bluesier/harder back to my reason to play in the first place, hopefully will recapture some of Roy's spirit & sound, and treatment of a single note!

Some reunions just shouldn't happen, but I am looking forward to Donnie & Marie Osmond! lol!

Clapton/God...I agree with you, (and I must have praticed to the Layla album hundreds of times) Clapton has not burned my britches since the Layla days when his Strat sounded tingley and raspy at the same time. Guess the loss of is son Connor, and life, has drained the fight out of him.

I've been hoping & waiting for Clapton to play in a way that would revive my appreciation of his talent, but he keeps letting me down...not that he owes us anything...he's made his mark & given us sooo much!! Sorry for the thrashing EC!

LONG LIVE JOE SATRIANI!

THANK GOD FOR HIS MUSICAL OASIS!

HEY JOE, My life has been a whirlwind since Hurricane Charley side swiped Port Charlotte. It was a breath of fresh air when you played in Ft. Myers. This was the first time I've seen you live and had such a great time. I will make an effort to see you everytime possible. It totally made my night when the show was over and you looked straight at me and waved when I stood up. Maybe it was my bald head(love being aerodynamic and wash and run) but I think it was syncronicity. Is There Love In Space?...sure, but for me to get there you got to go inside... MatrixV Hopefully see you soon and backstage this time, Pskot

alexandrecaetano,

Thank you for taking the time to listen to my effort! Very Glad you liked it.

Your Track "From The Heart (The Start)" on the Satchurated Feedback CD is very Satriani-esque...the driving, pulsing rhythm & memorable lead line show..to me...you know in your soul, what's important when laying down a track, and the ability to do so!

Looking forward to your next works! Contest eyh...looks cool....where'd you get the merchandise?

Peace, Love & Happiness!

"The work of concept starts with more questions than answers"

I just had to break out the Steve Vai "Voodo Acid" and start this post. That tune always starts my "Concept Questions".

"I as an engineering student use Excel religiously for CALCULATIONS and data evaluation or manipulation. I think the problem is, first, one of ignorence and two, of the fact that excel is , as much as I hate to give Billy and Pauly credit, a very powerful application"

This is so common with the proliferation of technology so accelerated in business over the past decade. The problem is humility. I.E. so many people are bent on the notion that just because they can enter data into Excel then who ever needs to manipulate that data farther down the manufacturing chain, can do what ever they need to do with Excel. This makes for some interesting Macro writing. All of which falls under the heading of Authorized Alterations. Most of the time the advertising agency hates to pay for these extra steps, but refuse to be humble enough to fix the problem for the "next run". It's that old "it's not my fault" attitude that just frosts my ass. I have had to pull of modern miracles to make a production date and not only did I not receive a thank you but I receive criticism from people that had their head so far up their ass they could see their tonsils.

Glad I am out of it!

"BTW Subway needs a hot chick to lose some weight so that ya'll can get rid of Jared's ugly mug. I think his 15 minutes was up like... 2-3 years ago!!!"

Jared is good for sales at least he is keeping the weight off. I would agree with you about the hot chick but most of them are pretty ditsy, I would prefer to have Joe be our New Subway spokesman. What do ya say Joe? Maybe you can get Ibanez to customize a Subway guitar and you could play "If I could fly".... LOL.

ALEXANDRE- Thanks for the kind words and thought's! and wishes! They really mean a lot! :-)) Also I tried to check out the page, and I may have typed in an error? I will try again, I am very interested in what You were talking about Please let Me know! Thank's again!................ZENFISH- It seem's cool! Don't think I am funny, But I get the impression from Your posts and from talking to Me that You are somewhat of the Beatles category! In proffeionalism, and the way You approach Music! I have learned through Buzzy Linhart, More about the beatles and John, Then ever! They talked a lot!...and recorded at the same studio west-A in NYC, as well as elecrctric ladyland studios. John Thought more Himself a Ryhtym guitar and Harmonica(mouth organ) as He puts it, Rather than a singer!...Wow!...I am pleased to hear that You like the beatles to! Abbey raod was good, Although I liked the earlier stuff, before they got heavy into pyhcedleic drug's and stuff though! But Thats just Me it means nothing. How is Things going for You, and Zenfish? Hope real well!......................DELFINO- I am sorry to hear that You are a little down! anything I can do let Me know!..Also Tell Your Sister, I am really overjoyed that She is over Her Seizure episodes!...That's graet!, Mine were "stress" at 1st to-then I started having 4-5 a day, and they knew something was wrong so after numerous catscan's, they found I have "frontal temperal lobe seizures" Which means I have as much as several difernt types all at the same time! real bad ones last up to all day! I takeTegretol, pwerful ani-seizure drug, It work's..I suppose....Also glad You are getting into a broadband of guitar music! I just Love Classical, and flamingo guiars! Well, I hope Your feeling better, and Your day goes really well!.......................962- Thank's! I really get a high when I can help People anyway I can!...it's not that I am anyone speacial, I am certantly NOT, In fact some say say i should not be recording, I suck so bad! But aside from that, I really enjoy helping people! espeacialy when it comes to guitar music!, and its really cool when they are kind! I do know many in the buissnes, and grown up with Musicands all my life, But never played a note untill early 03' So plaese keep up the great work and the spark alive! I will personaly get that leeter off to Buzzy!(he's on morphine now for pain) and is really not doing to well, But He wil be pleased!!! :-)) BTW I am sorry You can't hear any tunes from the ATNwebsite?...You mentoined anoter way?..Anyway, Thank's for everthing! Your great!......................SteveeT- Hi, How are You doing? hope reall good! I have been telling My friends about You to! Hows the songwriting coming? and how's the new Cd perkelating? I Know its going to be awesome! Please keep Me informed!....................Suzie, Hi Thanks for posting My link! That was real sweet and kind of You!..You and Matt have really been nice to Me! I really appreicate that! Sorry to hear about the holiday scrooge rudeness! It happens to me all the time! it dose take some of the spark out of the day!..anyway I hope Your doing better Now! Have A really great Nice Day! :-)) Talk to You later!.................MARIMARI- Thank You for saving My LIFE, and Sanity!.Only You and a few know My life growing up in the city street's was like, and what happened to Me. And through My musical failures, and for this, I am truly indbted!..Thank You! I am always there for You! and anythign I can do...NAME IT! It's done!.......................Joe- MERRY CHRISTMAS, and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!................DCK :-)) Too Cool!
