matt, the invitation was extended to john many many times ~ his loss if you ask me (and this pansy ass lawsuit is upsetting). i talked to ty dennis in the hotel room afterward - he's a great drummer - i sat there and played the telecaster that was being passed around like a peace-pipe. here i am chatting with johns replacement jamming on red house. just a crazy night from beginning to the end...

VaiolentoffBender: Nice to see you around dood! I haven't been around much but i don't think I have seen you lately . Good to have you back dood! We need more doods like you here! Come back more often! We got lot's to tell yah! ;-D

btw: Joeman9 has left because he feels that every time he says somethin everyone jumps on him. The kid is only 14 years old! He is a sweet and genuine person. I am sick of people leaving cause of this stuff! Does Joe Satriani treat people like this? Don't think so! Good thing he doesn't. As Master Yoda said "Be Excellent To Each Other"! ;-) I don't get what's so hard about that!? Treat people the way YOU want to be treated. It's not that difficult. Go to the Gym if you still have a lot of anger, and take it out there! You will look and feel better! :-)

Joeman9: I hope you are'nt mad that I said something! I miss you and I don't want you to leave! You always made my day brighter! :-)))

Trutina: I really loved your interpretaion of ITLIS! Wow! You figured it out! It now makes complete sense to me! ;-} Oh, btw: how are you feeling? Well, I hope!? :-))

JuJu808: I also loved your version of ISLIS! ;-} Very sensible also! The parts that were unexplainable I would say were dream sequences? right? Sounds good to me!

Clarky: I hope you are feeling better my friend. I wish you good vibes & a speedy recovery! btw: Did the Morphine make you hallucinate? It can happen with that stuff, it's STRONG! I'm glad you didn't wait to get medical attention, that would've been very bad!

Dragonchild: I got my airline tickets today! It won't be long! I told Joe I was coming to Sweden! When I was leaving he said "I'll see You in Sweden!" Kuul! We are in for an Incredible Show! I can't wait! If you can't find that Guitar World I can pick one up for you, I think it's still available here. Let me know. It's sweet! Joe on the cover! Yeahh!

GunsGodGuitars: Good Luck with your move! I hope it goes smoothly! How is your wife feeling? She was in the hospital for abdominal pains, right? I'll keep you both in my prayers.

BlueCrystalMan: I was at Looney Tunes, wasn't it Awesome?! Did your boys have guitars with them? If they did we met and I took a few photos of them with their guitars in line! What an incredible experience! Eh dood?!

Zonin: I just checked out your link, Sweet! You got a few nice photos! Have you photographed any other bands? You are a musician right? My offer is still there to swap some Satriani photos for the bootleg audio of the Hendrix Tribute if you are interested. I offered before but I don't know if you ever saw or replied. I think you will be impressed. The security gaurd tapped me on the shoulder and said"follow me" I was standing in the aisle for the rest of Joe's set and the G5 Jam at the Beacon Theatre NYC Nov 10th! I unfortunately left a 5pk of film in the car, sucks! I still got some really awesome shots! Would've had many more. Kick me! Anyway seems like the Doors 21st Century is a kickin show! Who is doing vocals? I think I heard before but i don't remember.

Mikey Vai: Konichwah! (sp?) I have to bow to you! I bowed to Joe!! lol! He smiled and laughed! My sister's think I'm nuts! LMAO! Oh well! I am living life and loving it! I got so nervous when it was my turn to T2J ...after waiting all day! He is sooo nice! What a great human being and phenom guitarist! He didn't have a hat on! Kuul! I told him you said hello and that you spoke to Joe in the chat and his wife was a black belt in Goju-Ryu,,,, he helped me pronunce it! lol! I will tell you the rest in my part2 later on. btw: I loved your review! How come we don't have that song" Dog With Crown and Earring"?I love this new CD! I forgot to tell Joe that one of my faves is "The Traveler" how fitting cause I am the traveler! lol! I hope to hear it live! Oh lord! Call the fire department! lol! J/K ! btw: I still have the biggest smile on my face! This should last a few days, I was high for 2 weeks after G3! Swear! I couldn't sleep! lol! It's all good!

Hey Joe, I am a HUGE fan! You influenced me in what I listen to and why i play guitar. I live in Maine, because I live in Maine I can't ever come to one of your shows because they are so far away. That really makes be sad. I own your G3 album from '97. It's amazing. I frequently see you in Guitar World holding your coveted (by me at least) Ibanez guitar. I also play an Ibanez , they rock!!!! I've been playing guitar for 2 years and have just recently learned "Summer Song". I am astounded by your technicality and clean picking. Do you have any advice you could give me on improvisation or technique? I know you have an incredibly busy schedual but if you could find a little time to respond in the near future I would be ever greatful. You are the most influential and amazing guitarist I know. Please help me!!!!

Matt Martinez I am old school, I prefer tape before pro tools. Any new albums by artists with it doesn't sound as produced well, guess there not used to it. Example.....St Anger.

Rich 88 - Joe's Pearly is still missing.

zonin - Yeah, I wish I had a picture of Joe's expression too. It's okay, though (for me, at least)...I'll never forget the look on his face. rusty dog was there with me...he saw it too and said the same thing.
IbanezGuitarist / Sharla - 8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of school, 8 hours of guitar...24 hours in a day.
marimariSRV - I'm not sure if the webmaster's going to upload photos for the in-store performances... I asked him about it here a while ago and he hasn't responded.

If he doesn't upload anything, you can email me a few photos...I'll host them for you.

The Prez - What's wrong with the Dave Matthews Band? ;-)

...Austin...

Do the Stu Well, like I've said, Cincinnati is conservative, if you ask many people here, they think the people where your from are communists, lol. No way Joe will ever play there, so I might get used to it, it's hard enough to get a progressive band here.

What kind of country do we live in when someone who exercises the right to freedom of religion which is based in our constitution is oppressed for worshipping the same God this nation was founded upon? When someone who hates followers of God and is the "minority", he is defended by our gov't. We are not allowed to pray inschool and I am not allowed to approach the subject in school anymore. So while I am in church all the others who hate me for my religion are running and saying how wrong it is for us to worship God. Do you know what an oxymoron is? Telling people to swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help them God, yet forcing people to take the Ten Commandments out of a courthouse. You wonder why I get offended.

T2J still sucks.

Thanks for bringing me up Mari. I was hoping they'd forget me. Oh well you just did what you thought was right. we're sitll friends, of course.

hi, just bought a copy of your new album. i really dig the whole album. that's rare... most album's have one or 2 good tracks, but this alum was simply dynomite. i like track 6 the best. i've been playing on, and off for about 41 yrs, i'm still trying to get a band together. i play alot of different types of music, mainly southern rock. i have not listened to your music very much because i thought you played the newer type music. was i surprized. i like your style. i wish i had your ability. you move up and down and around the fretboard like it part of your body. i heard you a self tought. i also tought mayself to play. i try'd to take lessons but the instructor i had was a joke. he showed me how to play the little brown egg with the little white specks.man i was ready to quit...over the years i kept at it, and i've mainly play by ear. but i'm learning the chords and scales. i can set down a listen to a song and pick it out in a few minutes. i was wondering if you was going to be playing in dayton, ohio anytime soon?have a good day, and keep up the good work. flaminbob

Awesome new album, as with every one before. I always find some new little detail every time I listen to any tune, so the music never gets close to boring. One little question though: Where did you get that hat that you're wearing on the insert of the new CD? It has to be the coolest hat ever. Keep up the phenominal material, there's nothing quite like it.
