PhryDom had to peek? Tsk tsk...
Amour is absolutely right, Montréal has been sadly overlooked the last couple of tours, tsk tsk...
death cube K Ethn just said a page or two ago that it didn't "stand for" anything, but that it was just his name, were you not paying attention? Tsk tsk...
Now Playing: Unsung - Ministry (Animositisomina) Tsk tsk...

hey all
Got up this morning with a purpose for the week, but chuffed if I can work out what it was. Another (manic) Monday...gotta find somewhere to live. 3 weeks and I'm homeless.
Ethn: maybe there's something wrong with your cookies? I've had those problems many times. (I always log in and out each time on purpose, however.) Make sure cookies are enabled and stored properly, and that when the machine restarts that they are intact.
PhrygAnt: "where's-the-reverb" ha ha ha.
Fido (yes you): I hope you have a "frequent tsker card" because it's double points day, you get twice as many points per tsk than usual.

Oh yeah... keep forgetting. I finally saw the 2 Towellers on Fried hay. Quite impressive. Although I was very "interested" to see the ladders fitted perfectly on the wall top...I guess they had a few practice runs before the real battle...(I refer to Helms Deep of course.) I was looking forward to what the ents would look like, and wasn't disappointed! But let's just say I still don't like Freddo.

re: the two towers
I agree about the walls how they fit so perfectly as well as the little grippers on the top of them that hung so well over the wall. Another thing that gets me (and i could be wrong, it was a quick shot) is when they are trolling the ladders up with the orcs on it, lagolas shoots a rope out of an eye hook that looks to already be attached to helms deep, As if the orcs had already put up a lever and pully system.
One last gripe. In the books, faromir was portrayed as quite the nice guy, while in the movie he came across as an a-hole.
rant over, watch strongbad, joe, give us slick :)

There are lots of bad people making the world a bad place. Someone/something you love could be taken away/hurt without you even having a chance to protect it.
Life becomes clear... kill bad people. No argument there.

You know what I think about the ladder height thing in the Two Towers? Well I'm thinking that maybe, those spy birds that were in the first movie, I don't know if they are that smart to figure out how many feet the walls were, but hey, there's a chance that they could tell how many feet the walls were. It is middle earth where anything can happen:)

Can I get everyone's opinion? Do any of you find me weird, too loud, or too obnoxious? Please tell me, and I'll try to tone it down:-D

I'm new to this list, so bear with me if my message is in left field. I've been an avvid listener since Not of This Earth. I quit college as soon as a heard Flying In a Blue Dream, then gave up and went into technology in order to pay the bills. Saw the recent show at Town Hall in NYC. Awesome. I've been very busy in the technology field but have resurrected my guitars and studio and have been finding every last minute to play. Finishing up a few covers from Flying in a Blue Dream. My favorite tone is from that album. Every time I see one of your shows, I want to quit my job and do nothing but play ! Any advice for someone who doesn't have much time on their hands but wants to enjoy the guitar as much as you do ?

JS Clone 1 - You seem to have posted slightly before me, not quite a Clone Blogdoop, but it was close nontheless. I'm amazed to see that you have 574 posts. I believe I may be under 40 posts, but I can't remember. It's been so long. With that being said, I shall now post in excess of 535 messages all in a row. Be prepared for 40 pages of my messages. I will write out an entire message, like the one I am writing right now. The only difference is that I will put one letter in each message. This should occupy more than enough space for me to win this clone contest.
The next contest...............becoming a better guitarist than JS Clone 1..........not likely.

Back in early september,it was a sunday morning I was coming back from work and I heard my sister crying and coughing.I tried to cheer her up as I didn't know what she did,I thought she was only sad.when she told me that she tried to kill herself with pills and fondue oil, paint thinner...I must admit that I was alot more angry than sad,I would had slapped her while saying "What the fuck did you just do?".I began to realize what she had done when I left her at the hospital..many questions were roaming in my head like "Do you know that you could had lost her?.The hard part was that I had to keep it as a secret(she was supposed to stay at the only for a check-up because of all the things she swallowed). So eventually my parents got to know it.My sister stayed in the hospital for a whole month locked up in a 'special floor' with other depressed people.(traumatizing to see them).I didn't know what I should do when she would come back: overprotecting her,let her be.....She finally came back,I was pretty scared that she would try to kill herself again.I missed alot of school because of that(if that was the price to pay to make feel my sister better, this is not expensive).I did all my best to cheer her up,we did..mom,dad,grand-mom,aunts,etc....It paid off,she was calling back her friends,at least she didn't want to stay alone, which is nice:)!Today she got a new job in her domain and she loves it she is too eager to go back to work on monday(she says a 5 days of work is not enough...well she does what she likes). She has her friends, family, job. She is thanking us for all the support we gave her.
I realized that my sister wasn't as strong as she looked like, that she had her own problems. Now,she is back in FULL POWER,I can feel it...I hope:)
My reason for posting this message is to tell you all, that if you know someone whoever he/she is,that we should always try to lightens their days...it can make the difference between death and life

Joe. I hope you got some rest. As hard as you tour you need it. I wanted to thank you for signing my JS in Seattle. Im the one that shook your hand after I put the guitar back in the case. I guess that is bothering me still. Your driver seemed to be in a rush. I guess I didn't want to slow you down. Thank you again. Don.

LGU - Speaking of Lord of the Rings, I can do a freakishly accurate voice impersonation of Gollum. I swear to God, this is how I found out. I was driving with my buddy in his parents '99 VW Passat. We were talking about LotR. He's been a hardcore LotR freak since he was young. Read all the books. Well anyways, we came up on the subject of Gollum. I said "You know, I can do a perfect impression of him." He says "Ok go Ahead." ... "Shhhhiiirrrre!!! Bagginnns!"
His mouth shoots wide open. "Holy sh!t!"
I say "You know, that was the first time I ever tried that." It really was.
I did it for 2 other friends aswell. Watching their reactions in disbelief. Hmmm... I just gave myself an idea. The next thing on my iuma site will be my Gollum vocal impersonation.
I also started impersonating the 1on1 between Sarumon and Gandalf from Fellowship. "Tell me.... friend. When did Sarumon the wise abandon rrreason for madness?"
"AAHHHH!!!"
AND SO ON....

JSC1 - it's all about the old S L A Y E R stuff, the stuff that made them the best metal band in existance, but some of the new stuff is killer too. predator's portrait and natural born chaos are the best soilwork albums. in flames do rule.
Phydom - Mr. Bungle are great musicians. i've jammed with them before, but watch out for those lyrics...
