Joe, I just bought my husband "I Just Wanna Rock" DVD. We loved it. We were both kind of surprised to see you do Cryin LIVE. My husband said you did it because of me. I saw you at the Guitar Center in Upper Darby PA when you were releasing Musterion and I told you how that was my wedding song. You seemed really tickled about that. He thought that maybe you were thinking. . . "gee I haven't played that live in a WHILE" I just can't help but wonder if that might be true, because the timing is right. .??? Thanks for EVERYTHING Joe. It is so nice to have an artist that both my husband I LOVE. Susan

I received my Chickenfoot shirt in the mail. Unfortunately, I received a small, when I'm pretty sure I ordered an XL. I called Fanfire/Live Nation and they said to send it back with a note saying, "Exchange for XL." Therefore, that is done and it's now mailed and shipped out. Hopefully they will send the right shirt this time.

Roo: Andrew, unfortunalely I do not have an iPhone or iTouch. Not sure if anyone I know has one either. Any other suggestions you have?

Cheese101: Great review Tracie. Glad you and Chris had a great time in Reno. Wow, that must have been some tight security. I'll keep your review (on securtiy) in mind when Joe comes to Sweetwater next week. I'll be prepared.

McDave, Castle49, Skippygirl: Thanks for the praise on my run. Even though the course was short and it was raining, it was fun.

Peace Lily: I celebrated with my running group after the race. We all got together for some food and drink and took some snapshots at each other and as a group. Afterwards, I had work in the evening, so not a whole lot of celebrating.

Al, just came from the post office. Some yahoo jerk sitting outside the doors had a hate stand. He had a big sign that said "Save NASA - Impeach Obama" and had a pic of Obama with a Hitler mustache, among other pics and bullshit fear propaganda. Some people are just to effed up for words. I can't believe the post office is letting him stand there. No one was even looking at the douchebag. They just walked right past like he wasn't even there.

MIchelle, I saw that same poster board outside our post office about a month ago. I found it personally offensive, not that they were protesting whatever, but that they put a Hitler mustache on Obama. I just did my business and left I thought they were extreme in trying to get their point across.

Wow...astronomy is one of my favorite hobbies and there's a long list of things I don't like about Obama, but that's still one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Of all the things Obama has or hasn't done, you compare him to Hitler as part of a defense of NASA?

Right...

My census form came in the mail today. It's a 12-page booklet printed in two languages that came in a big envelope with a prepaid return mailer. And last week they sent me a form letter telling me this census packet would be coming soon.

All that effort is for me to tell them I'm a 26-year-old white male who lives alone in a rented apartment. Surely there's a better way to go about all this?

JOE! dude!

Wanted to tell you Hendrix IS PROUD and smiling down on you!

I saw you at Warfeild and i saved my joint just for you! haha the energy was the highest when you were on stage. What you do is so spiritual! but you blew my mind, and it is still blown! some of your notes, were taking me some where else! feel like it healed me, and healed my Aura! =]

Anyways, cant believe that guy from Aerosmith! His Ego was just in the way of you! It was YOUR turn to do what ever the fuck you wanted to and to play what ever you wanted, but NOOO! i was mad about that..

One more thing! THANKS for signing my Live in Paris DVD, i was the asshold kid that came up and cut off you from talking to your fans, but im stoked. And made me that much happier.

PEACE and HAPPINESS

I received my Census as well and I already filled and mailed it out. Won't be much from a single 25 year old male who lives/rents an apartment.

1ryan5150: Have fun and enjoy yourself.

Finished listening G3 Live: Rockin' In The Free World. Loved it!

Who's scarier? these people, or these people (not posting website link), or or these people?

Anyways, the sending of a paper to tell you to expect a paper is, again, a waste of time and MONEY. That's like having to go into a place to make an appointment, only to have to come back for the actual appointment. We're surrounded by yahoos!

I understand the importance of the census for funding and everything, I really do. And I know it's in the US Constitution. I also love charts and graphs and numbers and statistics, so I enjoy looking at the results.

But really...they're mailing a 12-page packet with room for information about 10 people (!!!) to every single address in the US? I can't imagine what miniscule percentage of homes or apartment units with unique addresses have 10 people living in them. You could cut the size of the form in half if you make the default size a family of five, and in half again if you only print it in one language.

The "your forms are coming soon" letter could have had something you could mail back if you needed room for more people, or wanted the form in another language. Even better, it could have included a web link so I could complete the census online. I know not everyone has web access, but a lot of people do. Why waste all that paper (and money, with the $2 million Super Bowl commercial)?

I'm not saying things were any better in the past, but with all the importance the Obama administration has given to technology and going green, the way this census is being handled is pretty pathetic.

JesseKennemer - I'm not quite sure what you're talking about..."that guy from Aerosmith" has a name, Brad Whitford, and he hardly has an ego.

Brad sticks to blues-based rock in Aerosmith, but you might want to read up on his other musical interests. In an interview from about 10 years ago:

Whitford: There's a lot of other things I'd like to do on the guitar maybe, but don't quite get a chance to do it all within the context of Aerosmith.

Guitar.com: What kind of things might those be?

Whitford: I don't know, maybe more sort of blues-jazz type things that I enjoy listening to. I like a lot of that solo guitar stuff that people do. I've always enjoyed Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and to just make a nice melody and sounds with your guitar.

Just look, Satch and Brad clearly get along OK.
