Joe: Glad you had fun on Jimmy Kimmel.

Sorry I missed seeing it because I went to bed early. I had to work the following morning (very early).

Michelle: Congrats to you & Dave on 22 years.

Death Cube K: Hey Mark, glad you had fun our birthday.

Do The Stu: Kudos to you my friend! Glad you had fun.

Cheese101: That is excellent news on your family. Hope everyone continues to do well.

Skippygirl: You have my vote for #1 Joe fan from Australia. Wish me luck on tomorrow's 5K Run my Aussie friend.

Time to get carb-loaded for tomorrow's 5K Run and it's off to bed. I work early tomorrow morning, and then I do the run in the afternoon. One more week until the marathon!

Yes, I saw the same show, and apparently I was right, considering Joe even commented on screwing up. Sorry to offend, especially Joe, who I hold in highest esteem. Yes, he's gotten more exposure, and that can be good, but we've all seen a lot of artists who crap out after the numbers get big.

Gave new meaning to "Sloppy Joe".

After seeing so many videos on YouTube of live CF, I'm afraid I just can't say I have been very excited about the act. They don't strike me as being as tight as Joe's band, and my personal taste in singers thinks Sammy screams too much. Nothing personal, I just don't care for his style. Too over the top for me.

Please Joe, don't give up the solo career. The big reason I fell in love with your act is because of the originality, style, and very much because you don't often fool around with inane lyrics.

BrownBow1955- I would think that one who says they hold an artist in the highest esteem would find a kind and respectful way of expressing their opinion and concern to that artist . But evidently I think wrong.

brownbow1955: I'm with everyone else on this one. I've watched the vid several times now and I don't see anything worth making a fuss over. Hell, if nothing else, I've enjoyed watching the vid a handful of times. Have I heard SLT played ways I've liked better than the Kimmel version? Of course! I'm not saying I think Joe screwed it up, though, it kicked ass!
Sometimes when I watch Joe play (live or DVD), I may notice he occasionally (rarely) shake(s) his head which is usually the only indication I have that Joe thinks he did something wrong. Anyone ever notice that? Most of the time I have to rewind to see what it was I missed and it is always something hardly noticeable, but to Joe surely it is a big deal. Kimmel was probably just another head shaker, but it happened to be on national TV and some people are shitting a brick about it. Anyway, Joe wrote the song, he can do with it what he wants!
I believe Joe said he shouldn't try to improvise on national TV, and that he was nervous to begin with. Certainly nothing worth questioning his sobriety over, and the fact that you came here and did just that is an insult to the man himself and those of us that would never even consider such a thing!

How do you call yourself a fan and then seriously call him "Sloppy Joe" ?? Maybe your posts would fit in better on the Coldplay message board.

Ian

SKIPPYGIRL - I didn`t had luck with Chickenfoot. I arrived last July 1st to Madrid (Spain) and when i saw the messages on my cell phone, the concert was cancelled because Chad Smith had an injury in is arm :-/. A funny thing: i wen to Hard Rock Cafe in Madrid with my friends and i saw JOAQUIM CORTES, the master of Flamenco dancer and i got an autograph ;). Madrid is an amazing city. Barcelona too :). Good luck with Chickenfoot in Down Under :).

PUNKDUDE - Congratulations, a new life has come and it`s so cool. DOn`t worry, the babies are strong :). All the best to you and family ;). COngrats from Portugal :).

MAHAVISHNU - Cool photos, i saw Austin on the live photo, where are you? :)

Hi Joe !
It wasn’t a brilliant solo but almost nobody noticed LOL. It’s good to have some blue from time to time, especially with this fine sense of humour

Michelle
Twittering the vid to Joe is an enormous gift you’ve given me. I wish he had the opportunity to take a look at it

AlexandreCaetano
Yes, of course I remember the time we had before the show and the meet and greet with Joe. In Barcelona we’re doing fine, how about Lisbon or Porto ?

Thanks for having a look to my vid of AWMAWY. Now, let me say AYE !!!

For the thousands and thousands and thousands of flawless notes you hit Joe, I think you're owed a small mishap. What was classic about it was everyone in the band looked at you like you were going to take the song off in some other direction. It was great. I think Sammy and Mikey pepped up even more after that. Man, I sure wish you guys had put out a full concert on dvd. I love the tone of your live stuff. The Marshalls sound great! I think the company that did your dvd missed the real energy of the band. Can't complain though, Everytime I listen to the cd it puts a smile on my face. Perhaps your next solo project you are going to stick with the marshall's?

congrats Punkdude!

Peace; i have to agree, if brownbow is such a great fan why accuse Joe of doing drugs or being drunk? Joe deserves more respect than that.

brownbow; i have not been on this board very long, not sure how long you've been here but why come on to post such negative comments about someone who you hold the "highest" esteem for. i also have to wonder sense you find it easy to criticize, can you do better? and if so why have we not seen your name up in lights? i can play a little and have seen real bad performances by lots of people but would not criticize someone who can do better than i can. i saw the show, picked up on the little mistake and continued to enjoy the show. i now know Joe is human, cause before this i've never seen him make one.
