Hi Joe, I'm obviously a huge fan of your talent, but like everyone else on this forum. I am writing from France, near Lyon. Since the beginning of your career, I read and I expected, albums and concerts. Being myself guitar (a small guitarist), this reinforces my admiration. For this little message, I want you to discover the activity of my company and ask if it could be interesting for you to our sponsor you. We manufacture machines that allow people with disabilities to access sport activities and leisure. For our communication it will be super cool to have the great Joe talking to us. This is of course without financial afterthought. Don't know if anyone else is going to see Joe@ Univ of Buffalo on Tuesday, but does anyone know where the best place is to hang to get a CD signed? At some venues I can hang by the bus, but at UB the bus in nowhere in site. I have a copy of Brad Russell's "Let's Hear It!" CD, which has Brad on bass and Gregg Bissonette on drums. Joe plays guitar on one track! If you love jammin' bass you'll dig this CD!

Hey Michelle! Hope all's well.

Joe,

I saw you play recently on your Unstoppable Momentum Tour at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale and you were fantastic. I really had an amazing time at your show. There have always been two main questions on my mind that if I ever met you or had the chance to speak to you, that i would want to ask.

1) Why no shows in Alaska? I know many people in Alaska who would love to see you play a show!! I know it is far and a little out of the way but I can assure you that it is a very beautiful place to visit. If you ever had the feeling to take a trip to Alaska and take in some of the wonders, I know that I would be more than happy to show you a few places out in the great wilderness that are sure to inspire and bring some great memories!! I would even take you on my favorite hike to the top of a mountain, where I truly am moved and humbled by the beauty of the view from up top.

2) You were once (and still may be) a guitar teacher to many now famous Guitarists, do you have any interest in starting some kind of school or business that is able to pass along your ideas in the way you look at music, how to practice these things and helps other aspiring Guitarists reach their goals?

Thank you Joe, for all that you do to help make this world a better one with your amazing music!!

Hey John, my ears are still ringing! Waaaaait till you see this one! lol! I don't even know where to start to describe it! These guys bring a sick vibe to Joe's music and just totally kick ass! The back screen is awesome, the guitars were killer, there's so much stank on the bass, and the drums....sweet Jesus!! Just prepare yourself for the drums! lol!

Steve Morse was amazing too!

Thanks for a great show Joe!

Joe,

Huge fan of yours since I was sixteen (26 years ago) and looking forward to your upcoming show in Kitchener on OCT 10th. My most prized possession happen to be a 2000 JS2K-Crystal Planet & a 2005 JS2PRM (Chrome Boy). Both these guitars will be in my possession until I die and then will be gifted to my 2 daughters. I hate to be one of those guys asking you for an autograph but I would really like to have either of these guitars signed by you. Any chance you would be in the area doing a signing before or after the show. Regardless always a huge fan, Angelo

Aside from being one of rock’s more distinctive vocalists, Sammy Hagar is a pretty decent guitarist. But for big chunks of his career, he’s had the good fortune of not having to lean on his own chops. In fact, he’s played with some of the genre’s best axemen, including two of rock’s greatest living guitarists: Joe Satriani and Eddie Van Halen.

In a recent interview with Gibson, Hagar talked about the intimidating experience of playing guitar alongside Satriani and Van Halen, saying, “I just put the guitar on and got a big cheer always, and then I’d burn for a little bit and then take it back off before I ran out of chops, y’know? I rate myself as a guy that can play, and I can express myself extremely well but only in one language. I can only play blues-based guitar.”

Hagar went on to compliment Satriani’s virtuosity, saying, “Once he finishes with my repertoire, he can go into French, Spanish and Russian on the guitar! He’s just so versatile and fluent.”

As for Van Halen? His remarkable skill and influential style are undeniable, but as far as Hagar’s concerned, it’s no contest. “Eddie’s not as fluent and versatile. Eddie’s got a style for himself and he’s very much in that pocket, but Joe can play anything,” he explained. “When Joe and I start to write together, he’ll show me some chords and I’ll start singing, then I’ll pick up a guitar just mainly to figure a lick out: ‘What chord is that? What are you playing?’ so I can know what notes I have to choose from to sing. Then he’ll go ‘That was a cool lick, what did you play?’ and I’ll go “[Expletive], I don’t know!” I don’t get it. I just play.”

Joe, Just want to say I have all your music and saw you at Talking Stick. My son loves your music too. He is 17 so keep playing at least until he can get into these 21 and older venues and see you perform. "All Alone" my favorite. Bill

Hi Joe, the last concert, which I attended, was that of 16 November 2010, the international city of Lyon and it was really a memorable moment. the concert in Paris in the spring of this year for me was inaccessible. When do you return to Europe for a tour? Thank you for your answer. Jc Odin

Shandog - up at the top of the Road page there's a link to "edit show attendance" (<-or you can just click on my link there!) then you add the show you'll be attending. Hope that helps and GOOD LUCK! Still hoping this time is golden for me too, I've tried so many times, fingers crossed!!!
