Austin: Nope, never made it that far. We tried once but had to turn back because it was getting dark and we didn't want to get lost 2,000 miles away from home!! So hopefully this time I'll make it. One thing I know for sure I will do is eat at Chipotle every single day of that week. There's something about those "burritos" that I can't resist (and I use quotes because they are not really burritos. Trust me, I live in the state where they were invented. There's no such thing as a burrito with rice inside of it).

You may recall that there's a Chipotle in front of the Downey Theather, where LTE played last year. I ate 1 before the show, bought another one which I ate after the show at the hotel, and then ate another one the next day. That's how addicted I am!!

Someone tried to use my e-mail to setup a MySpace page. I found this out when I got a new password on my Yahoo inbox. So just to piss off whomever pulled this s@#$ on me, I have now made my first feeble attempt at joining the social networking craze. Check it out and please don't make too much fun of me!!

elpp - I've only ever been to Toronto, but I've done that several times over the years and I like it a lot. When I was a little kid (around kindergarten or so), my family took a trip there and I went up into the CN Tower. To this day I still remember the view from way up there...very cool.

I'm not a fan of Chipotle, but I do love Mexican food...and here in Southern California it's as close to the real thing as you can get (if it isn't equal to it). What's your opinion of breakfast burritos? I have friends who insist they're not Mexican at all, but I still love them. Are there any ingredients you think must be in there for a breakfast burrito to be considered Mexican food?

And...I just added you as a friend on MySpace. If you look around on my friends list, I have a group called T2Jers. It's probably a bit out of date because I use MySpace more than Facebook, but there are probably some people there you'll recognize and can add as your friends.

Everything on my MySpace page is so out of date...I use Facebook more often now. I've actually created a T2J group there. No one really uses it for anything (yet?), but if nothing else it's nice to have a page where we can easily find other Satch fans. Anyway, here's that link (for everyone here):

Good evening Skippy- Tulsa OK is about a six hour drive. A flight out of Little Rock wouldn't be bad but the problem lies in the time frame. By the 2nd week in September I will be looking at beginning rice harvest and since I only have 1 full time and 1 part time employee I can't really afford to sneak away. That's why I really want to go to the Kansas City show. I guess I may try the Atlanta show and go for the backstage package if still available. Some December dates would be wonderful.

Elpp- Austin mentioned the Myspace thing. I am on with my duck hunting thing and would like to work out sections devoted to music and my T2 j friends. I am slow at organizing my page as I have not had experience with it. When I get caught up a bit I will get my daughters to help me tweak it and get some photos up. I barely have time to catch up on the posts now.

Austin- Breakfast burritos- I have found that my Mexican friends will wrap any kind of food in a tortilla, but most of them will use the tortilla to help scoop the food much like we would use a piece of bread. Once in a while when I was managing the plant, I would hire one or more of the guys on the weekends to help me on the farm and we would eat lunch at my grandmothers. They would always ask why we never ate tortillas.

Looks like we may have gotten a rain on the farm by the looks of the radar loop. Gotta go investigate. Enjoy the weekend.

Hi there, I am wondering about the listed gig in Hamburg, July 7 at the Docks, because the program of the Docks does show another, completely different act for that night. So, could you let me know, whether you'll be playin' Hamburg that night, or if not, somewhere soon, maybe.

All the best, keep goin' strong. Soft Machine Hamburg

Hi Joe,

We run a "School Of Rock" in Cork for teenagers in the Glanmire suburb. When we asked them, who's they're favourite guitarist, your name was high on the list and up there with Jimi Hendrix!

The group, about 40-50 kids, meet every Tuesday where free guitar/bass/keyboard/drum lessons are given. We've run several Battle Of The Bands and even a couple of outdoor concerts on the back of trucks! The kids love it.

If anyone from Chickenfoot is available between the soundcheck and the gig on June 23rd in Cork, we would be delighted if they could spare 30 mins to give some much needed advice to these music hopefuls. Most of them live, breath and eat music. It seems to be the only thing that they are interested in. We would be happy to pay whatever fee is appropriate for such a service.

Anyway, goodluck with your European tour and new album and please remember us when you're in the Cork area.

All the best,

Austin/Burly: For starters, burritos are a bit heavy for breakfast. The typical burrito you will find in any of the hundreds of restaurants which sell them here has a layer of beans and the main dish. Most popular dishes are barbacoa (shredded goat), winnie (franks with tomato sauce), picadillo (meat with vegetables), mole (chicken in a dark, sweet sauce), shredded beef in red or green sauce, milanesa (kind of like a chicken fried steak)...

So as you can see, no mention of egg and vegetables, which from what I see in the ads every breakfast burrito in the US has. It is true that Mexicans in general tend to add vegetables and chile to anything they eat, so I'd say that these burritos really don't need anything else to become true Mexican food. On the other hand, no Mexican would buy an egg burrito on the street, this is something that you cook at home because it's so simple to do, whereas most of the dishes mentioned above are not.

As far as tortillas, it's a tradition. You can be as poor or as rich as you can imagine, but there will always be tortillas at your table. You can either use them to scoop up food (in which case you have turned it into a taco), or roll it up and eat it as you would a piece of bread. This goes as far back as the aztecs, before Spain came over and kicked our butts.

Awesome hybes, I'm really glad you can make the Tulsa show! I used to live in Bartlesville, so that would have only been a 40 minute drive for me....NOW the minimum here is just over 4 hours if they show in Reno, almost 7 to San Fran...but I ain't complainin, out here I can go to several shows if I'm willing to drive....heck, I went to Ireland to see Joe and am now gonna fly to Atlantic City, GEEEEZ....LOL! Get yer tickets EARLY!!

Happy Birthday Scott, are you creaky yet?? ;)

Pip, I'm betting the "code" inside the cd cover yer talking about is that little triangle thing, it's also heat-sensitive? If it is, that's just fer fun. They are including a Chickenfoot Magic 8-Ball toy with the premium packages, and yer supposed to ask the ball a question, shake it and then turn it over to get yer answer. Different answers are inside the cd's, although they only have so many. Mine is different from chelles in her cd....but chelles and Chrispies are the same. If this isn't what yer talking about you must report back immediately and shaaaaaaaaaare yer secret code!!! :)

So Chastity Bono is now gonna be called....Chas Bono. We were talking about this lil news flash on lunch at work yesterday. Oooookay.

Don1963....will you be giving tours of yer basement any time soon? Sounds wild, lol!! And don't let 3 shows in one week scare u....you'll survive it and be damn glad you went :) I've done doubles and triples back-to-back nights...was deaf fer a loooooong time, lol (yes, stoopid me fergot the earplugs) and had the BEST TIME! We even did 5 shows in one month once, 4 of Joe and 1 of Steve Vai and were never happier!!

Skippygirl.....The Foot is STOMPIN DOWN in Aussie-land, YES!! Glad to hear it's finally made it to the radio there, it's only the beginning :) As fer the CF undies....I looked...did you see they have tons of clothing with the logo on it? Rat-bastids makin $ offa the band by selling knock-offs.....grrrrrr.

Ohhhhhh, love the idea of a Chickenfoot car magnet chelle!!! We also need some smaller ones to throw around on our fridges, lol! And while we're at it, how about a Chickenfoot track jacket Joe? I love my PSATMOR one, but it's lonely and would like a CF companion, lol!!

Lets see...they could do a beer-cozee, or better yet make it a bit bigger fer a tequila bottle.....a CF necklace.....I'm still angling fer a bobble-head Joe but lets throw all 4 of the guys in there.....LOL....it could go on and on.

As to being a Chickenhead....yyyyyyyyyup...it figgers...LOL!!! Thanx fer pointing that out chelle.......we can always, and I mean ALWAYS....count on you babbie....LOL!! Hope Joe saw yer tweet and fell over laughing :)

And I love their description of Joe as part of Chickenfoot....

JOE SATRAINI! (Flippin' Guitar god)

Sez it all....LOL!! Except they coulda spelt it right...but I like the sentiment :)

Joe....u might be the only "sane" one of the group...but yer also the one with the hardest-to-spell last name, LOL!!

Cheese - Ya, Bartlseville would have been right there. I checked to see if the venue is listing the concert yet and they are not, so I'll have to keep watching for ticket sales. It's very cool they are popping in to Tulsa. Bulry that might be a show you can make if they don't hit St. Louis.

Zenfish - I like Malmsteen. He's pretty amazing. Have you ever played or anyone else here ever played a scalloped neck?

Good morning all! Do The Stu & Cheese101 thanx for the welcome! Yes I would give tours of our little Club Cabo complete with a few shots of the sweet nectar! We have a lot of pics my wife posted on RedRocker.com under Sammy memorabillia if you want to take a look. My screen name there is Cabo Don. I'd have to do some investigating to see if pics can be put up here. 3 shows in a week isn't new for me but 3 shows of Chickenfoot is a totally different story. I really lose it when these guys play. Well off to my sisters 60th b-day blast. Hope everyone here has a Chickenfoot kinda day!! Thanks again Do The Stu & Cheese101 for the welcome!

Hybes : yeap, i've already played scalopped neck, but it was not onto electric guitar. It was a 12 stringsMichel Gentil acoustic guitar. I played it during a jam with the man.

Scalopped neck comes from India. It gives more sustain.

Not yet tried electric scalopped.
