Joe, I know you probibly wont get this, but I want to thank you for the years if inspiration for me, your style inspired me through the years to keep playing, and now my son , even though hes only 6, is picking up the guitar and "playing like Joe", hes probibly one of the only 1st graders that can reconize most of you songs. He will be with me at the Concord Pavilion on the 17th. Thanks.

Heh heh I am 57% evil genius. It's lucky I'm a nice guy, otherwise I'd be 80+...
Austin: Dr Who started again here on Monday. 1963!!! That music is so eerie, it's pretty scary if you think about it. The fx are so lame, I can't believe we were all frightened by that show!
{insert cockney accent here} "Exterminate! Exterminate the Doctor!"
Diet Coke = brown water
Everytime someone says "soda" I laugh, we don't call it that. I wonder why it's called that, since the effervescence is due to carbonic acid, I don't think there's any sodium bicarbonate in there at all.
We either say "fizzy cordial" (as opposed to normal cordial, that syrupy stuff you add water to) or "soft drink" (as opposed to alcoholic)

Paul Gilbert, huh, kuul!!....If you get to interview him, make sure you ask about RacerX stuff and his current off and on gig with "Pint Size"....He goes by the name of Dick Image for that gig, lol, Paul is such a comedian!!
....Keep up the great work Ricky!!....
Stu Clone: Made a copy of Kirwan Brown for ya....Email me when you get a chance....
I'm feeling silly, so I've got a silly poll:
Which G3 guitar look's the kuulest?? Now, this is look's only, not playability hehe....Sorry guy's, I gotta go with VAI's JEM....Kuul as can be, lol:
JEM =1.... JS =0.... YJM Strat =0

ovation - I tried to mix the backing track last night prior to recording the solos... I'm glad I took a week off...
I've decided to try a slightly different riffing tone.. the combination recorded so far either vanishes in the mix or blows everything away...
this being the case I decided to experiment a little.. as this is the first song it needs to be right... once I've cracked this part the rest of the songs will end up just being more of the same tone wise...
If I decide to leave things as they are on this track then I'll have to do the rest of the album the same way or I'll lose continuity - all the sounds used throughout should at least be generally the same...
jeez... what a headache....
no probz though... experminenting and fiddling around is what Clarky's do the best..

JS 4 Jem 2 YM Strat 1
I used to like the look of the jems loads, but now I sometimes think they look great, and sometimes think they look just a bit too spiky to be nice. JS for me!
Ricky Garcia Paul Gilbert would be extreeeeeeeeeeeeeemely cool.
Song of the day: The wind it cries Mary (Hendrix)
Person of the day: Jimi Hendrix. That guy was majorly cool.

If michelle voted for the JS then the score is:
JEM 1 - JS 4 - YJM 1
greg m voted for the JS to make it 1-5-1, and I'll vote for it to make it 1-6-1.
GiantFan2156 - The Eight Steps is available on the Japanese version of Strange Beautiful Music. Slick hasn't been released yet. Right now most of us are hoping that it ends up on the "Essential JS" collection that Joe is putting together.

Fusion,
They've got Jones here on the west coast... they've got a ton of it in the school pizza place.
Good stuff... I've only tried the Green Apple so far. We also this stuff that I can't remember what it's called... it's some kinda key lime cream soda, it's frickin awesome.
edit: anyone ever heard "The Rumble" by Chick Corea and Steve Vai? The remake of the West Side Story Tune (pretty sure... I'm not remembering names well today). Real cool heavy fusiony stuff.
