T-Bones, but did you tell them about the concert? lmao!! Ol' John was prolly looking for the volume control on his new ears. LOL! God Bless 'em!

ibanezguitars, I usually have trouble picking a favorite song off of any new Joe record, but he's made this one extra-special, and so extra-hard to choose. I just love em all, including the bonus tracks.

Freddy, glad to hear it, so the Napster link worked for u? I thought the price per song was pretty darn reasonable, if I hadn't bought the bonus track cd I'da gladly paid even more per song for new Joe-stuff.

Guitarman77897, thanks, I try...I have a new camera and Chris knows how to work it better than me. Be sure to check out mahavishnu's pics, he put a link up yesterday...his are always stunning :) As to Joe's bucket hats, yer not the first and won't be the last to wish for those hats to be copied and sold!

Suzi, you're welcome, we're all good about sharing stuff we find about Joe here with each other :) I love all things Joe just like most peeps here! Congrats on your meet and greet ticket, you'll have an amazing time :) And trust me...one show is NEVER enuff if you can manage it!!

Peace, yeah, I just gotta love my parents, they are one in a million, LOL!! And congrats to your son!

Chelle, shhhhhhhh, he might ferget he's got volume control and we won't tell him when I want to babble at him, k? LOL!! He's doing amazingly well with his "new" ears. But every time I think about all the months and years he went without being able to hear hardly anything when there was help like this available, I gotta cry a little. I feel so bad, but he was also pretty darn stubborn until just recently. Now he's hearing almost EVERYthing, and has even noticed small sounds that my mom makes when she gets short of breath....I'm thinkin he might start to get a titch annoyed, but she can't help it and he'll hafta deal with it, LOL!!! Whole new world for him :)

In fact, when I got there tonight, the tv was on so low I didn't hardly notice it....he could hear it just fine (football) and my mom could barely hear it at all! Which was okay, since it was just a game, but when their soap opera comes on, watch out!

Glad A and the family had such a fun time tonight, that's what birthdays should be all about :)

Currently my favorite song of the new CD is the next one. And since it's on auto play it never ends. Simplify is my answer

US soul singer Solomon Burke, who wrote the classic song Everybody Needs Somebody to Love, has died at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport aged 70.
Burke leaves behind 21 children, 90 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The cause of death has not yet been announced.

Solomon was to play the Paradiso (remember Joe and Jeff?) venue with a famous Dutch band called De Dijk who recorded and released a new album with Solomon. I expect this concert on Tuesday will be a memorial thing now. There have been quite a view memorial services at the Paradiso over the years. Mostly musicians of course. The Paradiso was a church in the past (built 1880) before it became a "cosmic entertainment center" in 1968. Light up :-)
Like I told Jeff before the show in 2008: everybody played there: The Ramones, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, David Bowie, The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Hole, Live, James Brown, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Eels, Rolling Stones, Ween, Prince, Emmylou Harris, Steve Lukather, etc etc etc. But don't be nervous :-)
(I worked there as a lighting designer 1999-2002. And to avoid people feeling sick: Joe played the main hall [1500p], Coldplay played the small room upstairs as kids with their first album [250p])

"Loving people," he said at a recent performance in London, "is what I do."
R.I.P. big Solomon Burke

hey joe

u seriously should create some 'naked tracks' just like Vai did, ur music is something tricky yet unbelievably simple i dont even know how to explain, lols

but man this album 'Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards' is amazing especially 'Wind in the Trees' LOVE THAT SONG!!

im guessing the 'Wizard' pard came from ur usage of the Wizard amp, lolz

...You know what? I have really just been with my ATk,but you know something ,.The carbuerator must have turned ON My atk uses a special mikuni TM,s flatslide raceing carbyerator it,s called clomouideinaeh when it does that their to be used for japanese raceing what it mean japanese raceing people dont know their rideing man sets of bikes are built in series then so many are running at the same time the name is what it,s called by team aaen in japanese i think when the raceing robot is on your race carburetor it,scallled jaarapaline it doesnt even look like it,s been touched the big bike when the robotic carbuerator come on it delivers 11,000 -1475% effectiveness it leave grass on the tire and chain in the same place with the same things on it like a pine needle or whatever and I rememebr doing it! makeing sexie love baby.My formula mx carbuerators do the same thing sometime except their timing is different because I had them bored out at mckerlie millen automotive in peterborough about 25 year ago when they were new from dennis kirk .The carbueraetor turns on only when your health is over 700% like canot get any better and stay their for 14-19 months my doctor told me a while back It was at 700% anyways you your japanese raceing robotic thottle logics later wolf2.

It is so mad here at the moment, half the beach has been swallowed by the ocean, there's sand being blown everywhere and it's been raining horizontally for 2 days straight!

Very wild weather.

I also just got my server back up and running. I thought I'd celebrate by posting my new chickenfoot guitar.

I still can't believe I am so far behind in uploading album info. Anyway, I'll get to it one day.

Finally had a chance to sit down and tinker around with working out bits of the new album on my guitar. Got my JS tuned down to E flat and started with Wormhole Wizards, Wind in the Trees, and God Is Crying. Just working on main riffs and a bit of the melodies.... having fun just figuring out where Joe's at, how some of the songs are put together, and perhaps what might have been going on in his head when he wrote them. Has he said what gauge strings he's using on this one? I thought I remember hearing that he went to 10s for Chickenfoot. I'm using D'Addario XL 9s.

No idea if Wind in the trees is playable live, I thought it was the zvex ringtone, could be tricky to replicate live.... I've no idea, im sure its plausable, even without the effect, but it is pretty cool

did the dont change in the txt box? also noticed the page takes longer to load than usual too
