at first take I thought it said throwing wenches...

Did anyone watch Gone To Far - Adam Goldstein's intervention show? Heavy stuff man! Watching how hard he wanted others to find sobriety, and knowing that he lost to the beast in the end. Addiction is so friggin heavy.

Hi Joe before i begin i sorry about my type spell mistakes! I am i fan of you since 1988 and you have influence the way to hear and write music. When i fist heard the Surfing With the Alien album i was quit from Piano lesson and start to scratching a guitar!!! If you remember we have talk together at your concert at Thessaloniki Greece in 2002. I will send you photos that we are together for your photo record. I don't understand why you don't visit us since then (2002) . I believe that is not us (your fans) but the people who organize the concerts and the problems Vai had meet in his concert at 2007. It was a disaster. But coming or not i ,we love you!!! p.s. Your latest album it's fantastic!

This from webby Jon - "satch's Paris DVD is an amazing piece of work by some fine Germans. the cf deluxe cd/DVD is by me & the fab Arthur rosato".

Another update from your overnight news reporter, Skippygirl.

Have to mention how proud I am of all the besties of mine (about 20 men and women) who rode the Round The Bay cycle ride today, 250 km for the men, 100km for the women, I was chief after party organiser and watched them all come in one by one like weary soldiers, 1 fell, 2 punctured, and when everyone was home they made a presentation of the team GUERNSEY (note that Dazza) to one Dad who had a bad accident on his bike a few months ago and is just starting to walk again.

All we needed was to play Just Look Up or something....

Thanks for the nice words friends.

Ole Keith wasn't one of my closest friends but as I was going home late on monday he was on good form, looking well and said 'See you friday'. It was something of a shock to find out he collapsed and died just one and a half days later.

Make the most of your life while you can peeps.

Hey Joe

You and the guy's in Chickenfoot are awesome. Just a cool cd. The Soap On A Rope video is great. Just a little q for you: What Joe Pass book did you read, by the way??? there are quite a few to choose from. The one you talked about in a Interview once. it was about breacking up chords, and stuff...

Best Regards

Funzy

hi guys!! and specially hello to sir satch!! wow.. it feels good to be here.. anyways.. im christian, 21 from the philippines.. and i really love satch en his tone.. actuallly i just bought a satchurator and a time machine last monday.. and i also have the red strap for quite a time now..haha and i really love it.. even my fiance loves how it sounds.. haha.. so our next project is the big bad wah.. but the problem is it'll take some time coz i have no money anymore.. haha.. and also i would really love to have a js1200 with satch's BIG signature on it.. haha.. but i think it cant happen .. i'll just wait til the black holes in the time machine to suck me and bring me into an intergalactic space warp leading to satch's rig and ask him for his guitar and signature.. haha.. and also i think i cant afford to have one.. that's a sad part.. haha.. well i hope i could hear something from you sir satch.. and i hope someday soon i could have a guitar with your signature.. haha.. till then.. more power and God bless!!

Al--If you bring your tool kit with ya, I'm doomed!! Those alan wrenches are brutal!

Will Smith's music is surprising--not quite up there with Satch.
