Hi Joe
I am besides myself with great happiness that my husband and I are to see you in Toronto on December 8, 2010. We live close to Ottawa and will drive the almost six hours to see your concert. We have great seats, just five seats from the stage in front of you. This will be the first time that the both of us will be seeing you live. We have been diehard fans for many many years. Always enjoy every new CD to its fullest. I have been tuning in to Youtube, and Podcasts and watching the progress of your tour. The time is drawing nearer. We should have bought the Meet and Greet package. I bought my husband a beautiful silver 1600 JS series Ibanez guitar for his 50th birthday. He loves the guitar and plays all the time. He could have brought his guitar on the road for you to sign if we got the Meet and Greet Pkg. Oh well maybe the next time. Us seeing you live in December will be our 22 wedding anniversary gift to each other. We are even going to stay in Hotel close to the gig. This is going to be the best gift ever. I love every song you have ever composed, and a couple of your classics would be great to hear as well in the upcoming gig in TO like Made of Tears, The Extremist, Cool 9, Until We Say Goodbye, All Alone, The Forgiven Part 1&2. I don't know if you take requests, but it doesn't hurt to try. Also this coming November 1st my husband and I will be going to the Experience Hendrix concert for my birthday. It will be great seeing Steve Vai and other members in this concert, it will be a great night. Too bad we missed you in the last Hendrix tour in the Spring, but there will be other times right? Anyway keep up the Great Work Joe. You are my favourite artist above and beyond anyone. Can't wait to see you in the very near future.

corbaa - if you get a chance, go back and look at some of wolf2's other posts... I don't think his post was directed towards you :) Sometimes they sort of make sense... it's then, that you realize you've been drinking too much again...
by notes, do you mean guitar music/tablature?

Skippy- Quote from iheartguitar interview
Are you hitting Australia on the solo tour?
JOE-Y’know, I’m hoping that right after the recording of the Chickenfoot album and before we start any touring there might be time for me to hit the southern hemisphere.
I sure hope there is time for an Aussie tour for all you great down-under fans. And I feel bad you did not get your signed CD...dang it!!!!!
Listening to BH Electric Tears Album......... :-)

Hello. I am attending the Amsterdam show on the 29th. I have paid extra to meet Joe before the show. I live in Germany and will be driving to Amsterdam on the 29th. I am still waiting to get the details: what time do I go to the venue to do the meet and greet? Etc. My email was included when I paid for the "Club Joe" package so you should have it. I have recieved the "confirmation" email of the purchase.
Please Advise.
Thanks

Joe,
Please come play in Hawaii. We are starved for great rock. All we get over here is "tribute bands". You could play on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. There are good intimate places like Pipeline Cafe in Honolulu. After, (or before) you could make a vacation out of it. Anyway, I love your music and even though I think awards are sort of b.s-you should have won a grammy years ago. You are a true talent. BTW, I am about your age and lived just a few minutes away from the Forum in Inglewood. My first concert when I was 15 was Jimi Hendrix. The day after that show I bought an electric guitar and started playing-I have not stopped since. Keep on rockin!!

Peace Lily- Thanks for all the interview links you have posted here... I am still working my way through them, lol!
Skippy- Sorry to hear that your signed CD got lost in the mail somewhere. I have a little understanding of what you guys have to go through since I ordered ITLIS? from Japan a couple weeks ago.
I was wondering a couple weeks ago whether Joe's use of auto-tune on WITT was the first time it had been used for something other than vocals, but he pointed out that he had used it on EOC on a few tracks. I had no idea! That's where he got the idea to use it again, I guess.
It's a small world!

michelle - now you're speaking my language! I am a HUGE PRIMUS fan...
Ler
is #3 on my top 3 of guitarists, no foolin! My favorite Joe student of them all. To say that he plays a little differently than all the rest would be a gross understatement. Just saw them in Toronto at the end of July, as always, frickin' incredible! Seen Les a whole buncha times too, Frog Brigade, 0ysterhead, Fancy Band.. always amazing!
Listening to: Buckethead - Captain Eo's Voyage
(delighted to see 2 other people listening to Big B -
Electric Tears
is a truly beautiful album, had it in the CD player in the delivery room when my Daughter was born, now it's charged with emotional memories for me! Also,
Crime Slunk Scene
is amazingly good too, I LOVE that CD!)
smooches,
