Sammy Andrews yeah, sounds ghetto for sure. I hate bands that have lyrics that sound like they were on durgs when they wrote them and I hate it when people scream, it isnt music. It is make up for there lack of voice unless they can sing well and scream which is rare but I have heard it. Joe is still the best.

My favorite top 5 guitarist

1. Gary Moore : could hold one note for ever and it would just keep getting better until you burst into tears.

2. Jason Becker : King

3. Frank Gambale : Phrasing more genuis than god himself.

4. George Lynch : The rock king

5. George Benson: yes

Ooohhh. Reached big Number 10. :)

Glad I had tonight off of work. I feel like garbage today. Like someone kicked me in the kidneys and went at my head with a baseball bat for giggles afterwards...

Sharif --- Thanks for the Carlin clip! :) I love the man's comedy routines, he has a way of making you take a second look at the world around you and challenges what most people perceive as 'normal'. The thinking man's comedian!

And by the way, I have a better vote. How about:
Joe Satriani vs. Arnold Schwartzenegger
For California governor.

Toodles, people. Gotta go pick up my sweetie at her job... :)

To Jameel Sharif First of all, keep this website clean. We dont need your swearing or your 'george carlin' quotes. Joe for president??? Are you saying all this simply to gain attention and people using your 'name' in their message posts? You know, this is one of the only websites I respect and love coming here. So please, keep the air around here pure. Joe is entitled to his opinions about the president and war (which I am against of with full throttle). So, play your guitar and kick some ass! - Mantra

SatanBoogie ooooh, sorry - name change. I mean I Hate Hippies, no wait WHOEVER you are tonight, we LOVE George Carlin quotes and have them here all the time. SHARIF hasn't done anything we haven't done many times before. If you can't handle the MILD bit of swearing on this site, sheesh man, what do you do in the real world. You swore in YOUR post! No disrespect, but why get your britches in a bunch over something that's done here all the time?

Joe: sorry I have not been here in a while. I have been working on finals at school. It seems that there is no such thing as a job for the disabled in this country. I suffer from the lack of (lesslys) 1. instantaniously 2. simutaniously 3. errorlessly 4. effortlessly 5. endlessly. It looks like a great christmas though. I'm alive, mostly healthy, and still looking for work. "Above The Numbers" has gotten some great response. Thank you T2Jers! Steven and I have sold about 100 cd's so far. I hope we can sell more on the cdbaby site, and at tower records.com Your G3 stuff is the best! Who could not make it a present this year. I hope that doing the G3 thing has been a positive for you so far. It would be Kuul to perform with all those shredders! When I find work this next year, I hope you can do another set of concerts that I can go to. I still want to get a photo of you with my guitar some time. God bless, and happy holidaze. Randell

Metal Head03 - You're welcome. :-)

SBM will not be rereleased to include The Eight Steps and Slick. The only way to get those two songs is to buy the anthology. It's well worth the money, as all songs on the album have been remastered. Everything sounds great.

JS JS - I'm the tall guy in the third row on the DVD.

This is my third year of college, and I'm 20 years old.

Sharif - I'd still have to vote for Bush. I'm surprised that you'd be willing to vote for Joe when you know next to nothing about his political ideas...even if you can't stand Bush. Then again, maybe that's just because I'm in a state where a bunch of people did the same thing when Arnold was elected.

Whoa...Do a search on the internet for Crossroads pictures and you find out all sorts of crazy stuff-Eric Johnson used to play guitars with Floyd roses on them, some of Vai's parts were sped up in Crossroads(which I had guessed actually, although that may or may not be true),Ry Cooder and Arlen Roth were not happy about the way the movie ended, or having Vai in it, and the biggest shock.........
