Kell, OCPS470: Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Wizard. I have a '02 RG570EX, it has a wizard neck with the maple/bubinga/maple fixing that strengthens the neck. At first, I was not used to such a thin and wide neck ( I started on a strat). It needs some getting used to. Now, I feel that the neck actually feels and plays quite well. That was after I adjusted the neck height. My RG came without neck shims and I found the action and neck bow rather uncomfortable, so I had to re-shim it. I just finished setting the neck and yes, it plays very well.
OCPS470: I was interested in buying a Gibson at first, but when I picked one up and put my hand around the neck, it felt like holding a baseball bat! I didn't like a semi-circle thick neck and the way the neck bends away from the body. Gibson necks look rather cheap (as in looks and construction). Hmm, maybe I DO want to know how Gibson makes their necks!!

T2J clips...
OK, I've listened to all the clips now... It's pretty obvious that Joe has been an inspiration here, but the styles of playing are still fairly varied. I'm really looking foward to hear the whole album! A few comments...
Pete Mulas- I love the blues in this one! The drums sounded a bit too synthetic to me, but maybe it's different when you hear the whole song.
OME- oriental influences? Nice!
Clarky- I can't wait for the whole song.....
Matt King- awesome groove! Hey, are you in a band or something? ;)
Migupais and Alexandre- both of you have really cool heavy grooves.
trutina- nice drum beat, but where's the guitar? ;)
Mowlie2000- I have to say, I really liked your piece the best! Lighthearted, accurate, positive...... VERY uplifting! :)
SOTD: Deep Purple- Strange kind of woman

Dragonchild - Thank you very much for the kind words regarding my T2J track. My idea was to create a song that wasnt too heavy to listen to but that was also catchy. Another point that I wanted to catch was to write a sad song but in a nice sounding way (if that makes any sense at all !!!)
Thanks again,
Aarren

Crystal Planet: Huh.... I've been using VST for about two years and I didn't know there was a tap/tempo function. I just know how to set my time sig and tempo in the master track.
DCK: Do you know anything about this function?

PhryDom- Thats the Ibanez JS1000 Joe was using. The coolist one is the blue with the black burnt spots, i think its called Burnt Blue. Oh yeah, does anyone know where i can get and Ibanez JS600, because that one doesn't have the floyd rose and locking system built into it. Other than that it's identical to the JS100. If anyone knows please let me know.
Thanks

Clarky - Thanks man. By the way, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's got some kind of hi fi in their head!!!!! I always carry a bit of manuscript paper around now, in case I "hear" something I really like...
Greg M - Aw, you missed me!!!!!!!!! How sweet!!!!!!!! lol... My tattoo's doing fine, except some bastard insect bit me while it was healing, and so there's gonna be a lighter patch right in mddle of it. I fucking hate insects.
Drafter37 - Thanks, but those pieces are absolute bullshit compared to what I can do now. They're all least a year old!!!!!!!!!! I'm still working on getting some recent stuff on there, but it's all going a bit slow because of the blah blah blah. Thanks for the compliment though, man!!!!!!!!!!
