Was supposed to go see Eric Johnson last night but I just didn't have it in me to go stand up for that long last night... I'll bet I missed a hell of a show. Anyone seen him this tour? I've got tickets to see Buckethead, Steve Vai and ZZ Top this Summer/Fall.

Joe, Awaiting your response since I wanted to make contact with you and did not know of the passing of your mom. I was best friends with her and got out of touch. Taught with her at Drexel Ave and really loved her. We got out of touch and I became extremely busy but miraculously adopted a child(it is quite the story) quite a miracle....much like your mom talked about. I can remember her vividly and wondered if I could spend a few minutes seeing you again.

Dave Mustaine announced at a concert in Singapore that he blames Obama for plotting not only the mass shooting in the movie theater in Aurora, but also for the shooting of the Sikh's in their church, and probably every other piece of gun violence, all so that he can pass a gun ban in the United States.

Bob Birch, longtime bass player for Elton John, was found dead yesterday in an apparent suicide (click here for more).

He did A LOT of session work over the years, and he was the bass player for the house band at the 95.5 KLOS Mark and Brian Christmas Show here in LA. Chickenfoot played the show last year, and Joe played Satch Boogie with Bob on bass and Gregg Bissonette on drums.
